Had Bill Bowers change my tires. They were prompt in their responses and were very helpful streamlining the process. Prompt as well with getting my car in and when they said the car would be done. Had the TPMS sensor flip on not too long after the new tires went on, but they were very willing to help troubleshoot. Ended up just needing recalibration which was super easy.

Great local auto repair center. Lots of friendly faces here. They aren't too pushy like the local car dealers. They do suggest things but let you decide. They have a quick turn around. Prices seem a little on the high side but I don't get service often so I might be stuck in the past. Even so for excellent service it's worth it as long as my car stays reliable.

Called about a slow leak. Staff were able to get me in later that week.They were able to find the leak and fix the tire. Great customer service and a comfortable waiting room.

These guys are the best of the best!! I had one mishap lead to another starting with a busted rear tire, which ended up having to have suspension and control arms installed after a botched towing experience (can't prove it, but I know it). Josh and the team at Bill Bowers Tire and Auto took care of everything, start to finish, including diagnosing the issue to begin with. They are professional, friendly, and do a most excellent job! My little car is my baby, and it is always nice to know she is in good hands with people who understand that sentiment. I can't recommend Bill Bowers Tire & Auto Center enough!!

Bowers Tire and Auto provides a much needed and great service. In the process of performing the requested service they check out the vehicle for any potential other issues to be reviewed with the customer. This is a very much needed service and not sure how many facilities help the owner prevent future issues. I've had my yearly inspections done at Bill Bowers since I moved to PA. They are often busy, because they provide good service. They take the time to check tires and oil when I have stopped by on occasion without an appointment. I trust them with my car.

I took my vehicles here on 2 occasions, 1st car needed front end realignment, bill came back with an extensive list of things that needed replaced on the car, I said no, I took the car to my regular mechanic in mercersburg "liberty auto and tire", they said there was nothing wrong with the vehicle.2023 I gave bill a second chance, took my 2004 honda odyssey in for routine inspection. Bill called me and said that I needed all 4 ball joint replacement, 2 control arms, a whole new exhaust and tail pipe system and a few other things that would estimate around $3000 dollars, I said no, I picked the van up and between the time of me talking to him on the phone and going to pick it up, he added a few more things to the list. I am woman but I ain't stupid, I took the van back to liberty in mercersburg and the vehicle passed inspection clean. I am livid that anyone even advertises them as being good mechanics

I contacted them to get a quote on having some maintenance done on my car. They were very quick to send me the estimate, and I was able to schedule the service while I was going to be out of town and pick up my car when I returned. The technician kept me up to date while I was away, and my car was ready when I returned. They made me feel like a valued customer, and I will return to them for additional services.Service: Tires

I had an unexpected flat that they didn't think they could fix quick but once they learned more of the situation, they squeezed my vehicle in. I got quick, courteous, and professional services and I was able to keep rolling - pun intended.

Needed a nail removed from my tire & it plugged. They kept my car so they would be able to fix it as soon as possible and let me drive their courtesy van so I wasn't stuck sitting there all day. ABSOLUTELY AMAZING SERVICE I plan on coming back here when i need new tires also!!

I've been very happy with the service I've received on my vehicles at Bill Bowers Tire & Auto Center. I've had tires put on two vehicles (which came with free rotations for the life of the tire) and been very satisfied with the tires, the rotations, and the overall service experience - this place has a very hometown feel. I recently took one of our vehicles in for a braking issue and the team took their time to thoroughly diagnose the issue, not just check for what I thought the problem was (turned out I was wrong). Ultimately, I left with a repair bill significantly less than I expected, and feel confident and safe in the repair work they did. I would (and have) highly recommend this shop to friends and family - whether you're looking for tires or other services.

I was referred to Bill Bowers for my tire issues and was very impressed with Josh the counter clerk, his customer service and the way he handled my car repairs issues fast and effectively impressed me. I felt very comfortable to allow them to work on my car and they did so excellently! I am a very satisfied customer and plan to return to them for my future car repair needs. Highly recommend!

Went in for my annual inspection and tire rotation. I am always on edge not knowing what they will find that requires immediate attention for passing the inspection on my 12 year old vehicle. This time I passed the inspection but their report raised a couple of flags that will require repair. I went ahead and scheduled one of them and will keep an eye on the other. I have always been very appreciative of the service I get there.Service: Tire rotations

We have been nothing but pleased with the service we receive at Bill Bowers. The most important thing to us is integrity, and that s what they continually demonstrate! My parents have also gone there for years, and recommended them to us. It s a bit of a drive but worth it. They also are very fair with their prices and often have a loaner car to not inconvenience us! So thankful for this company!

We had a great experience here again. I needed an alignment ASAP and Josh was able to fit Us in the very next morning bright and early. We got there and I had three kids with me and he turned on cartoons for them and gave them lollipops and talked to them and made the experience just as fun and good for everyone as possible. They are always very upfront with me about things that are wrong and costs and things I can do to fix it. I will highly recommend them and anyone.

We have been a loyal customer for several years now, not just for tires but preventative maintenance. They truly understand their customers and knowing our Subaru Ascent was a lease the team found the best tires for the dollar value based on the lease aspect. With a year and half left on the lease they recommended the best tires to utilize saving my family money and time. I cannot express how this teams professional courtesy and understanding of each individual customer equates to customer loyalty. I started having a lot of electrical problems with my vehicle. I called Bowers and asked if they could check the battery. I was able to drop it off for diagnostics that day, they confirmed it was the battery, and I was able to pick it up that same afternoon. They are always the first place I call. My Chevrolet Uplander required four new tires, and so I took it to Bill Bowers Tire and Auto Center. I know that this garage has a solid, dependable reputation in the area, and my experience confirmed that to be true.There was some kind of an issue with their phone system the day I took it in, but even so, one of the staff members called me on his personal phone to relay information to me and to ask me questions.I was told that I could have the van inspected while it was in the shop, and then I was asked if I would want that done. I said yes, go ahead and do that while it is there. A little while later my phone rang again. I was told that my brakes were not in good condition, and something needed to be done to them for them to pass inspection. I gave them the go ahead because you need good brakes.Never, over the course of this process did I feel pressured or bullied into making frivolous repairs. I was addressed with every issue found and then asked if I would want the mechanic to proceed with the suggested fix. I could have declined the offers at any point, but opted to have Bowers complete the work.I believe these people know what they are doing, that they are an honest crew, and will not tack on needless upgrades or fixes. Everything done to my vehicle was explained to me, and my consent was asked for all along the way. I would highly recommend their services, whether it be for new tires or just basic car maintenance needs.

I was lucky enough to be a part of Word Fm Single Moms Saturday. Bill Bowers is one of the select few that takes part in this. I've never felt so loved and welcomed in a place before. They were awesome with my children and took great care of my car. I have never met a more wonderful staff. They now have a customer for life. thank you guys so much for everything you do.

The Low Tire Pressure light came on. I went to a local gas station and put air in my tires, and the light went out. A few hours later, the light came back on. Crazy as it seems, I had appointment with Bill Bower s for a tire rotation the next day. Not knowing if my tire pressure problem could wait another day, I called them. I was asked could I drive over right away. I drove over and they willingly checked all my tires. I had picked up a screw somewhere and it was causing a slow leak. They repaired the tire, rotated the tires and sent me on my way. I couldn t be more satisfied and happy.Services: Tires, Tire rotations

They are always super friendly and helpful. Personally they have always treated me right and have been upfront on the cost of my car repairs. I have very little "surprise" bills. I feel like I can trust these guys and to me that says a lot about them.

Been taking my vehicles to Bowers, for years for auto inspections, tires, and repairs. Just had my Mountaineer inspected this week. They have good service and can work with my schedule. I recommend them. Plan on taking my Rav4 out in August for the state inspection. I took my car to Bill Bowers Tire and Auto Center for an oil change and found it to be a warm and positive atmosphere. From beginning to end I was treated with the upmost respect. The job on my car was exceptional and they exceed my expectations. I will definitely be bringing my car back for other repairs.

I would recommend Bill Bowers tire & auto center. The service was fast. They fit me in at the last minute. As friendly as they all were, from the guy that took my name and keys when I first showed up to the guy that gave me my keys when the work was done, you would've thought we were old friends. They brought positivity to my otherwise very frustrating day!

I was a little apprehensive as I've never been here before and not every shop likes to handle European cars. But, I'm glad I did. I took my AMG in for repairs and they took the time to listen to what I thought might be wrong, diagnose the entire vehicle, print out a list of repairs and quotes, call me every step of the way, source genuine OEM Mercedes Benz parts, and got it all done efficiently, properly, and at a much lower rate than I would have paid at the dealership! I 100% recommend this garage to anybody in need of auto repair from an honest group
