Bill and his team have helped my elderly father, mother and wife with wading through the outrageous quotes fro pepboys and others of their kind who regularly fleece uneducated consumers. They have saved my family thousands of dollars over the years, and consistently provide a voice of reason and honesty when we felt blindsided by outrageous estimates from other shops. We were visiting from out of town for the holidays. On the evening of Dec 29, our van started acting funny. On the morning of the 30th (a Friday), I took the van to Harts Run Auto Service simply because it was walking distance to our Airbnb. I got there a little before they opened, but Bill immediately came out, drove the car to hear the sound, and dropped me back off at our airbnb. It was right before the New Year, and judging from the number of cars in the lot, they were really busy, but when he heard that we were from out of town and had to drive 6 hours back home on Tuesday, Bill promised me that he would work us in somehow, but they had to finish some other jobs first. They started work on Saturday morning, and their hours are listed as 9 - 3 on Saturdays. They stayed open until after 5 on New Year's Eve in order to finish the work. He did a thorough check and communicated clearly on what was wrong, and he quoted us a very fair price. We had a wonderful experience with Harts Run Auto Service and recommend them highly.

I just had the most amazing experience with this service center. I am not a customer. I was driving through the area and was a half an hour from home. An alarm came on that my engine was overheated and there was an issue with my coolant. After doing a Google search for a local mechanic, I just pulled up to this garage. They looked at my car, figured out the issue, refilled my anti-freeze so I could get home safely AND DID NOT CHARGE ME. Unbelievable. Clearly they are honest and kind. I am very grateful.
