Summer 2023 a teenager crashed my window, broke into my car and ripped my ignition in order to try to steal it. I was referred to sterling automotive by another mechanic as someone that was familiar with the repairs that my car needed. I spoke to Bill at Rick's and he was very professional. He explained the process and kept in touch with me throughout. My particular vehicle type had large theft and attempted theft issues so parts were on backorder and would take a while. Bill was very patient with me each time I called him. He was straight forward about the cost, and i had a lot of respect for him for being so upfront and honest. While waiting for the parts, Bill kept my vehicle safely secured inside of the garage to avoid any further attempts. When the parts came in, my car was repaired that very day. Words cannot express how pleased I am with the repair and my experience with this shop. I will refer them to anyone who has a similar issue, and I would give 1,000 stars if I could. Very positive experience! I have been going to the same mechanic for over ten years, and once I moved to Delco.. I had to find a new one which worried me. When I dropped my car off, I did not have a physical copy of my insurance or registration. I gave Bill the identification numbers that were needed, and when I picked up my car I found a printed copy of my registration on my seat, which I thought was very nice considering he did not have to do that. I dropped off my car at 8 and the car was ready by 11. Very friendly, honest, and quick service!

My best friend referred Stirling Auto, and I m glad she did. Turns out, I needed a new fuel pump.Very dependable and honest mechanics. I d absolutely take my car there again!

This place and the people who work here are the absolute best. I have plenty of stories of guys like Bill doing right by the customer and being genuinely friendly, but that would take forever to write. I will say most recently he made room for me on a busy Friday afternoon for an inspection, and I wound up needing breaks as well. He took care of it right away with no problems. Outstanding place 10/10

Awesome shop, mechanics are all honest, highly skilled and communicative. Super friendly staff, esp Billy, who always works on our cars. Reasonable and fair pricing. They are always very accommodating and help to make your "car in the shop" experience hassel free as possible.

After 2.5 months, 3 different shops I was advised to take my 08 nissan to them. Nobody could figure out the problem, took it to sterlings and it was one and done and man when I tell you I was impressed at there knowledge I was amazed. I strongly recomend them at all cost. I'd never thought my car would be right again. But I found them. And I live on pa/del line, you want it done and done right. Here you go. Thank you to all the mechanics. Honest, trustworthy and reasonably priced. It's a small family owned shop since 1948 and you can tell when you talk to Bill or Rick. They are very friendly and helpful. I wouldn't take my vehicles any where else and it's the only shop I reccomend to others.

They show little concern for customer service. I called them multiple times over the course of two weeks trying to get my car in and they never had the courtesy to call me back. Clueless way to run a business.

I was a customer of Rick Stirling Auto Service from 2011 to 2017 while I lived in Delaware County, PA. My experience with Rick Stirling Auto Service has been entirely positive. They performed expert repairs and maintenance on my car, and enabled it to operate reliably. Only when I moved to Montgomery County, PA did I stop taking my car to Rick Stirling Auto Service. Rick, Bill and their team are honest, perform excellent work, and will let you know if more work needs to be done, or if putting more money into the vehicle isn't worth it. If you live or work in the Glenolden, PA area, and need the services of top-notch mechanics, go to Rick Stirling Auto Service!

Good mechanics, timely responses, reasonable prices, Honest. When it comes to your mechanic, for me, Honesty is at the top of the list. Stirling definitely is at the TOP OF THAT LIST.
