Homeowners- Farm & Power equipment can be confusing!Fred, Kevin, Cindy, Laura, Bradley, Jason, Grace, and Aaron are all top notch in what they do. "What do they do you ask?" They Make Power Equipment Make Sense. But more than that, they treat you like family and make you feel very welcome and take the time to answer any an all questions you may have both before, during and after the fact. I own a local landscaping company and have purchased most of my equipment from Wertz! If I ever go down in the field, they have me up and running in a few hours. I consider them family at this point and I'm looking forward to growing my business with them!

Wertz is by far the best power equipment company bar none! I have dealt with many over the years. Everyone (sale, service and office staff) are real professionals and extremely friendly. I explained what I wanted my lawn to look like, how much acreage I had, and Kevin took his time to understand and explain what the right mower would be for my application. I had originally wanted a larger unit, but Kevin explained that my lawn and desired outcome required a smaller mower. I ended up with the Simplicity Courier 52" zero turn. I walked in wanting at least a 60". The results speak for themselves! It is quite refreshing being treated like family rather than seen as how much money can be made. One of the advantages of partnering with a family-owned business. If you are looking for lawn equipment, do yourself a favor and head to Wertz!

I find it very inappropriate and unprofessional to go into a business and found two employees hang on each other. I believe their names were Thomas and Candi. I understand it's a family owned business. But the employees should be more professional at work. Along with how Candi talk to the customers. The work place is not the time or place to be hanging on your boyfriend. Seeing that makes this business look bad. Other then seeing that. I found this place to be amazing when it comes to helping you find what you need for your tractor. I will keep coming back for my tractor needs.

When you look up perfect dealer in the dictionary this place comes up. The history, the customer service, the inventory, etc etc. Wish some places could get more than 5 stars.

They are just so helpful here.My husband just needed a blade for his pull behind mower.The young man stretched till he found what he was looking for. I enjoyed talking to the Father and mechanic Fred.He was very helpful and answered all my questions.

My go to place for lawn equipment. The staff is very knowledgeable and helpful. The mechanics are absolutely incredible. In the lawn care business this is extremely important. Brought my snowblower in thinking I was going to have to leave it. They took the few minutes to take a look at it and I was on my way back home in 10 minutes with it fixed! From Kevin up front, to Lori, to Brad in the shop. I can t say enough about this business! As an owner of a family business myself, it is refreshing to see such personalized light spirited, helpful folks here! Great Job! As with anything else you buy and keep for awhile, the sale is a sale time thing, but the service of an item is where you may need the future help! Wertz was all over that!

Review for parts only: Was heading to Hanover for the day, so I stopped in for engine and HST filters for my GC1723 and also for Permatran fluid. They do not stock Permatran except in 1 quart containers which is not useful since the HST takes 2.9 gal and the front axle takes just over 1 gal. They only stock and alternate brand UDT which I declined to purchase since I'll be mixing with some leftover Permatran I have on hand. Ok, so I got the filters, then got home and noticed they gave me an alternate part number (72201898) for the engine oil filter which is actual the old GC2xxx filter. It should fit my GC1723 but it's not spec'd to the same filtering capacity as the correct part number I asked for which was 3710280M3. It's a 50 minute drive, so not sure if I'll try to return it or just chalk it up as a $19 lesson learned and go to my regular Massey dealer next time.

I visited two local dealerships looking fro a ZT mower. The difference in these experiences was striking. Kevin spent a lot of time with me and answered all my questions. He's a good person. I ultimately bought a good used mower from a private seller, but would be happy working with Wertz anytime down the road. Highly recommended.

Me and my husband just purchased a new tractor yesterday. He wasn t able to come see it until after 5 (closes at 5) and the owner stayed and waited for us by the door. Kevin was great to work with. Very family friendly, great quality tractors and great customer service!

Tremendous outdoor power equipment operation, Fred is a legend, Aaron is on top of it and so are all the wonderful ladies, at times there is even a shop dog running around The pandemic didn't get this place either, they have just about anything you wouldn't have to normally order and will order anything. Kevin said Id get 15% off my next top handle husky chainsaw if this gets 10 votes :-) Ive purchased a zero turn, chainsaw and plan to buy more random stuff whenever it s needed. #shoplocal

I have purchased two zero turn mowers and 2 snowblowers over the years here. This is one great family owned business that has it together. From Kevin in sales to Brad in service and everyone in between. Had an actual issue with my snowblower during first snow yesterday. Was told to bring it up and Brad repaired on the spot. Why by anywhere else.

I bought a skid loader from Kevin at Wertz recently. Kevin and his family were great, completely explained everything, and answered all my questions. It was in superb condition and priced better than anything I could find on the internet for the hours it had. I have also used Wertz for years for parts and service (blade sharpening and the like) and never had a complaint. They carry great lines of equipment and have far superior customer service compared with any of the John Deere dealers locally. I highly recommend Wertz!

I was looking for a new mower for my mother's property. I met Kevin when I walked in to the showroom and we discussed options and benefits of the different models they offer. I did not feel that he was pushing me to buy more then what I needed, but just giving me the facts about what the benefits were from one model to the next. When I went back to buy the mower I had the chance to meet Mr. Fred. It was a pleasure to talk to him about the units on the sales floor. I bought a Ferris ISX 800 and I am very pleased with my purchase.One major note! They were able to deliver it for me and the gentleman who delivered (I forgot his name) went over the unit 100%! You will not get this kind of service from the big box stores. Shop local and support your local community because your not just a number with a small business

I couldn't be happier with the purchase I made. Kevin, Fred and Jason all took the time to answer every question I had and helped me choose the right mower. They treat you like family and they made it clear they wanted me to be happy. After the sale Jason spent almost 2 hours with me going over every nut and bolt explaining in detail how to operate the machine as well as how to perform proper maintenance. They earned another life long customer, because I will never go anywhere else again.

Just bought a new Kioti tractor from Wertz. Great tractor but the brothers Kevin and Bradley made the experience worth it. Wonderful place and group of people! I bought a tractor from them in May 2020, and they were honest and straightforward about everything. They don't try to get you to buy unnecessary things. They took time to show me how to operate it, what all the functions were, answered all questions, and didn't pass judgement on my being a rookie. They really take care of you and dont treat you like you're just another customer - you become part of their tractor family. Many thanks to Fred, Kevin, Cindy, Bruce, and the many other great people that helped my wife and I when we purchased the tractor. I went back today looking for a ballast box. They told me not to waste my money then took time showing me cheaper options and explaining how I could save money instead. If you are looking for equipment or service this is the place to go without a doubt. You won't be disappointed with the sales and the service you get from Wertz. Many thanks again for a great experience.

I had some hydraulic hoses made and 1 of the 4 leaked. I returned a few weeks later with the hose - which has no visible signs of a problem - and asked if anything could be done. We discussed the course of events and a refund was given. I would have understood if they were less than understanding, they didn t install it - but the customer support was great. A+021519 - went in for parts and was surprised that they had the unusual parts I needed for an old mower in stock! Great parts department.

I normally don't leave reviews but the staff at Wertz helped me out so much I had to put a good word for them. It started when my Husquavana chain saw cover would not work, I gave a few places a call and they could not tell me what was wrong. I gave these guys a call and they told me to come down and they'll reset it for free. They also helped me fix one of my chainsaws, seems like a part was missing and was not diagrammed well. They took a part out of the parts bin and fabricated it on the spot and had me up and running within an hour. The prices are as good as the big parts store and the family atmosphere and customer service can't be beat. There are a lot of places closer to me but I would take my business here any time I need sales/service.

I recently purchased a Ferris ISX 3300. After 20 hours run time I noticed a oil leak near the back of the mower. I called Wertz on a Monday about lunch time to let them know. By Tuesday afternoon they had picked up the mower, repaired the leaking seal, and returned the mower to me. Wertz customer service is excellent.

Wertz has been around for a long time and I can see why. I ve bought 2 mowers and a snowblower from them all simplicity. Great equipment and great staff. Service has been good they have always keep me up to date with what s going on and what they recommend to be repaired. Showroom is always full of mowers to check out. I highly recommend Wertz to anyone.

I would like to give a great big THANK YOU to Wertz. I work for a rental company that had a truck on rent up the street that I had to load on my truck I was concerned for the safety of myself and the public they allowed us to load it in their lot I really appreciate their help and concerned to. I also really enjoyed Mr. Fred,he took time out of busy day to come out and talk with me .I found him to be a very wise kind hearted person . Mr. Fred I hope to get back up there talk again . From the sales people to the parts and the service department no one compares. When I walked in I met with Kevin Dickmyer who was very knowledgeable on the equipment they sell. He wasn't pushy and gave me time to think it over before buying. I ended up going back in to buy the Ferris SRS Z2. Great mower. Since then I have used the mower to help grow my mowing business. I have had some minor items break on it. I called Wertz's right away and brought it in and they fixed me up the same day so I can get back out to mowing with minimal down time. Which deserves a 5 star! If you are looking for top of the line equipment and friendly and knowledgeable people then give Wertz's a call today!

The usual great service with a cherry on top. Got my 15+ year old mower running, driving, mowing like new.Hiccup - with an occasional, ongoing power issue solved (perhaps a factory fuel line install error), when it evolved into a more serious running issue on the heels of a comprehensive repair and servicing visit.It feels like all the ponies are back under the hood! Able to mow 3+ weeks of tall, thick grass effortlessly.I didn't mind having to trailer it back for the great result. It hasn't functioned this well in a long time.I almost forgot - no charge for the diagnosis and quick replacement of the offending fuel line.
