I brought a 1990 240DL Wagon here back in 2003 at 150,000 miles for $4,500 and here it is TODAY!The odometer quit in 2010, but I ve calculated well over 500,000 miles on it!

went to get an oil change friday and a few days later the check engine light comes on, turns out it was because of these guys not bothering to change the oil filter, personally would never go back there again and just do it myself so i know it gets done right

These guys saved us, big time! We were vacationing in Gettysburg when my alternator decided to kick the bucket. They got us in on the afternoon before the 4th of July holiday and were done in less than 2 hours. They were incredibly friendly and professional, they didn't talk down to me (I'm a woman and have had this happen many times with other mechanics) and I wasn't oversold or taken advantage of when it came to the price.They. I was visiting Gettysburg from out of the area when the front end of my vehicle started shaking severely. The mechanics at Tom Knox were able to look at my vehicle immediately. Came in for an oil change on Thursday, my car won't be ready until Monday. How long does an oil change take? I came in to pick it up and they charged me nearly 100 dollars for an oil change, it costs around 45-60 to do it yourself! Don't come here it's a scam.

My Jeep's front wheel area was making a horrible noise this morning that kept getting worse. I called Tom Knox Tire and Auto to see if they could check it out. He told me to bring it in. I don't know who was more surprised to find a walnut stuck on the rotor. I guess a squirrel visited overnight at the hotel. I really appreciate how quickly he was able to help me get on the road.

Had some engine failure and had to stop in Gettysburg. Called Tom first thing in the morning and he got me right in. Fixed the car real quick and got me back on the road. Excellent service, very personable, good price. Definitely recommend for any auto needs.

I had a nail in my tire and the manager at Tom Knox was super friendly, courteous, fast and proficient and I was able to get it fixed quickly and get to work. I know they were busy, but they managed to work me in on a Monday morning as I was late for work. The place is conveniently located in Gettysburg with ample parking. The price was reasonable and the tire repair has worked well.

Look these guys aren t going to win awards for treating you like royalty, but they do excellent work at prices that can t be beat, and they won t try to up sell you on stuff you don t need. They give it to you straight, they re courteous and professional. Everything I look for in a mechanic. I got recommended to them and now I recommend them to everyone. They re always busy (because they re good at what they do) but can usually fit you in pretty quickly for small jobs in my experience.

I have been talking all my vehicles, including my commercial ones to Tom Knox 's service center for many years. They do good work, at reasonable prices. I depend on them to keep my vehicles on the road and safe to drive.

We couldn't get an appointment at locak Chevy dealer for an inspection so we call Tom Know Tire and Auto. They did a quick and thorough inspection.

I arrived home from a trip on Friday at 3:30PM, just before a long holiday weekend. Over the course of my travels my brakes had started making a scraping sound. I called Tom Knox Auto. Although they were closing at 5:00, they asked me to bring in my vehicle. Fifteen minutes later they had diagnosed the problem and explained it to me, and Mr. Knox was out retrieving the parts needed for the repairs. They had me up and running within the hour at a fair price, much to my relief. I've been to this business several times since moving to the area and I have always found them to be very knowledgable, fair priced, and polite. Over the course of those visits, I've gotten the impression that not only do they want to get the job done, they want to do the best job possible.

After shopping around a few places in the greater Gettysburg area I settled on going to Tom Knox and was thoroughly satisfied. The staff was really friendly and their prices were great. Highly recommended and will certainly be going back.

We took the truck here for a new tire change, the guy that was doing this scratch my husband's rim that I bought him last year as a combo package an over 2500.00 deal. Ok so now its time to change the tires and this non professional place scratched the rim and then called the police due to my husband being very unsatisfied. My husband knows his truck and takes care of it so saying this he would have known if he scratched a 450.00 rim. Beware and take caution when using this place of business!

We were out of state visitiors. We took our car to Tom Knox to have the brakes checked. . They thoroughly looked over and fixed it on the spot. All were very polite and hospitable. We were in and out winthin 30 min. Cost was unbeatable.

Absolutely the worst experience I have ever had! The guy that runs this place is rude as hell and yelled at me. A customer should never be yelled at or mistreated in such a way. Not only that you should never talk to a female in such a way! The technician was excellent though, he apologized for his behavior and was just super nice. Overall worst experience ever!

These guys took care of me in my first days of being in town. Have been super helpful on 3 separate occasions now. Very honest, and upfront. Would definitely recommend to anyone.

As a single middle-age woman we are fish bait for scams from auto mechanics. This fellow is totally honest, fit me in when I forgot to get me car inspect yet again till the last minute, and never tried to upsale me. He came highly recommended by other women, in the burg, so ignore the rude comments posted here.. Total quality and great experience.

My brother and I were on a road trip when our breaks started to act grabby. I called in from the road and they made time for us right away - they were incredibly helpful and had wonderful customer service.
