Never been to Randy's place before. He was recommended to me to replace the tires on my Honda Fit. I had already called at least 5 tire/auto mechanics. They were all either way too expensive, didn't seem like they knew what they were doing, rude, etc. I call Randy, he goes through a list of tires that would be best for my car and how it drives. Every last detail you can offer. I was waiting for another expensive quote of course, but wait....it was even more serviced than all the other places and was over $300 cheaper and a better tire than what I was offered elsewhere. Cleanest auto shop I've ever seen too.They did a fantastic job, I highly recommend! Thanks again Randy!

I have been coming to Randy's since I had my first car. He's the best around the area! He is reliable and trustworthy and knows his stuff! I highly recommend him for all your car needs!

DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE HERE! My car was so quiet before he performed work. After he installed a starter for a bill of 700 dollars, the car was knocking & the car was not drivable!!! He refused to take any accountability for the issue. Stating my car was already like that. He destroyed my car! I m a single struggling mother & feel completely taken advantage of. I had to call a state trooper for this mechanic to release my key.

Got us out of a jam on trip home from Gettysburg. Car was making an unusual noise and didn't want to begin trip home and break down on highway. Randy got us in immediately and diagnosed issue. Nothing found but was thorough. He suggested what might have happened but noise stopped. Minimal charge for assessment. On our way within the hour. Thank you Randy and crew!

###WARNING###RANDY IS A THEIF AND A LITTLE LIAR641.98 TO REPLACE STARTER PICK CAR UP AND THERE IS A LOUD KNOCKING WALK BACK IN AND TOLD RANDY IT DIDNT DO THAT B4 HE TELLS US WHEN YOUR STARTER WENT OUT IT BLEW THE MOTOR UP BUT THE GOOD NEWS IS IT WILL WILL ONLY COST YOU 5,000 MORE DOLLARS TO REPLACE THE MOTOR THIS IS THE DUMBEST CONN MAN I EVER MET HE ISNT EVEN A MAN HE IS A THIEF AND A LIAR DONT TRUST THIS GUY HE WILL RIP U OFFhe is A Snake in the Grass

I would not recommend this place to No one He Ripped my Daughter off time and time again just to charge her 700 dollars for a starter If The motor was blown to begin with like you said why would you charge us 700 more dollars to put in the starter just don t make no sense if you tested to make sure it was a starter to begin with cuz we said we thought it was the starter we are Not Mechanic s you are and your supposed to Diagnose the problem not us So if the motor was blown like you say why would you waste your time What a RIP OFF Con ARTIST customer BEWARE Randy is A RIP OFF Shyster SNAKE in the GRASS don t Trust this one CON ARTIST

I had car trouble while on vacation in Gettysburg. I call Randy's Automotive because of the positive reviews from others who had experienced car trouble while traveling. Randy quickly diagnosed the problem and had it fixed within a day. He is super! Honest, fair, and he communicates very clearly. Highly recommend!

Randy is an incredibly honest and generous mechanic. Multiple times we have taken a car in to have him check a problem claimed by the dealership only to have him tell us it wasn't a problem, fix it for far cheaper (and better than the dealership), or tell us straight when it was time to part ways with the vehicle (busted head gasket, faulty steering). We trust him with all our vehicles and know he will always be fair with us.

We've been using Randy's since the early 90's and they NEVER disappoint! They effectively communicate what is going on and get the work done quickly. It may not be the cheapest around, but you get what you pay for... quality service from people who care about doing it right the first time. They're not afraid to go above and beyond for their customers. I recommend Randy's to everyone!

We've been taking our 2005 Scion to Randy's for most repairs/checkups since we moved to this area 4 years ago; always a pleasant/professional experience. Great communication, professional work, reasonable prices. Highly recommended!

Randy offers excellent service with affordable price. I brought my car to a dealer for a noise problem and they charged me $50 for just the checking and told me that fixing the problem will require replacing a part and will cost me $500. Randy test the problem for me and fix it for less than $50! He only needed to tighten something up. Even though replacing a new part will fix the problem for longer, I'm glad that at least Randy offered me an atforaffor solution that still works! He is so nice and trustworthy. Whenever I bring my car to him I have no worries of being charged extra for the wonderful service he offers. I would recommend him to everyone!

I highly recommend Randy's auto. I pretty much "dumped" my car there that wouldn't start. What's nice is Randy calls you and explains what's wrong with your vehicle. The best part is he isn't over priced. He's very reasonable and when he fixes your car, it's fixed. They do excellent quality work and it doesn't cost a fortune. Definitely making Randy's the place to take my vehicles for any and all repairs.

I dropped my van off for a power steering issue and was told that it would be looked at the following week. It has been 3.5 months and I have not been able to get any info on what is happening with my van. I have been told 4 different times that Randy would call and update me, that has not happened. Also was told that nothing has been started as of mid January. I now have to pick up my van that is not fixed and still has not been actually diagnosed. I am almost 4 months without my daily driver, still at square one and have to find a mechanic that will actually help me. Thanks Randy.

Randy's is the place to go if you need work on your car. I began with Randy's a few years ago. The car dealership where I got my car told me I'd have to spend hundreds of dollars to replace my struts. I went to Randy's to see if he could do it cheaper. He told me the struts were fine. They are honest and very competent.

Randy is awesome! We were on a road trip passing through Gettysburg when we experienced some car trouble. It was a Friday afternoon close to closing time and we called him and asked him look at the car. He fixed it within minutes. We 10/10 recommend him to friends in the area. Thank you Randy!

Absolutely blown away by the service. They have earned a new loyal customer. We purchased our son a Subaru a few months ago. There was rattling sound and we found a bolt on the ground where he normally parks. The team took us in quickly and didn't even charge us since it was only the bolt that needed to be screwed in. You don't get honest repairs like this. No charge? Seriously?!? Who does this?!? My son picked up the car and was happy that he got to meet THE Randy who explained the problem to him. Thank you!!

We were new to town and needed a basic brake job. Randy was extremely helpful and honest. He was able to do the job the same day and charged a reasonable amount for the job. We checked with another mechanic in town and they quoted $100.00 more than what Randy charged. He is an honest, skilled mechanic and I would highly recommend his shop for any automotive services and repairs!

Randy's automotive shop is a great place to take your car or truck for service. A very friendly place and cheerful people. But one of the most important things is honesty. They don't do work that doesn't need to be done, and they always call you if they find something you didn't ask, before proceeding. I highly recommend Randy's Automotive.

I used Randy's services for the first time yesterday and was extremely pleased. I got a flat tire that could not be driven on. A mechanic came and met me (within 15 minutes of me calling), put my spare on, and lead me to the shop making sure I didn't have any other issues. This saved me so much money as I didn't need to be towed! They quickly assessed the damage and put a new tire on my car. The cost for their services and the new tire were extremely reasonable. I was in and out within 30 minutes.

A lifesaver while on vacation. My family and I were on vacation in Gettysburg, traveling there from Illinois. On our way back to Gettysburg from Pennsylvania Dutch Country our minivan started to act funny. It wouldn't go above 40 mph without shaking real bad. I called Randy right away at 7:30 the next morning, I chose him because of the positive reviews online. He asked me a lot of questions and wanted to be thorough before looking at the vehicle. I dropped it off and got a rental car from a nearby rental agency as to not disrupt our vacation. Randy had our car fixed up and back to us the next day. It was very reasonably priced, and we made it back to Illinois without incident. Thank you Randy's Automotive for saving our vacation!

Honest and fair. They helped me when I had a flat tire and visiting from Georgia on Fourth of July weekend. From the front to the back all wonderful folks! I would highly recommend.

I have always felt that Randy gave me a fair deal. I have lived in Gettysburg for over 5 years and I have always taken our cars to Randy. I have been burned by car mechanics in the past, but I feel confident Randy will tell me how it is, what needs done (if anything) and give me a fair price. It really is a relief to have a no nonsense car mechanic I trust with my vehicle.

The most honest auto shop you'll ever go to, I've had lots of work done by Randy and has always had fair pricing, but today My car was over heating from radiator fan not coming on, it could have been multiple things costing hundreds of dollars, he called me and told me it was just unplugged, he could have told me anything and charged me like some shops would I'm sure, but Randy didn't charge me a dime, extremely happy customer !! Customer for life

I had an excellent experience today! I called earlier in the day due to a leaking tire. I came by after I got off of work. The gentleman at the counter greeted me right away, confirmed my make/model and issue, and took my keys. I couldn't have been there more than 10-15 minutes total. They found and pulled out a screw, and patched the tire. $21 later I walked out to find my car pulled around, ready to go at the end of the sidewalk. Friendly, fast, and reasonably priced- the high reviews are certainly deserved! Thank you, Randy's Automotive!!

12 year old truck towed to Randy's with loss of brakes. Inspection revealed rusted brake lines. Replacement work was completed in reasonable time and well below estimated cost.A minor adjustment was needed at the time of pickup and was done immediately. Very pleased with the professional service and courtesy of the staff. Will highly recommened.

Very pleased! I called Randys with a problem with my Honda van and quickly got a appointment. They even picked up my vehicle at work and dropped it off later that day so I didn t have to miss work. Turned out it was a frozen left brake caliper causing the issue. Good to know I have a mechanic close by that I can trust and is fair.

Randy's automotive is amazing. I am in Gettysburg for the day, but realized last night a headlight was out. Called them, explained I just had a 45 minute break, and they said to come on over. I was in and out in 10 minutes at a very reasonable cost. I still had time for lunch! Thank you!
