2002 GMC Sierra 4l60e.. was on last day of vacation when transmission keep slipping. They were able to fix in last then a week. Very happy with the work. Very professional. I would recommend to anyone in the area. I trust these specialist over shops near me in NY.

Brought car in for wheel bearing and hub work. The work was done at a reasonable rate and so far everything seems good. Will return for future service.

Our mechanic recommended we take our car to Gettysburg Transmission because they thought our transmission was failing. The mechanics there were pleasant and helpful. They discovered that the issue causing the rattling sound in my car was from rocks. They diagnosed the problem quickly and fixed it free of charge.

These guys go over and above to see customer satisfaction. They rebuilt my transmission and adjusted the little shifting problem when I took it back to them. Friendly and professional.

These guys are awesome. I have taken my truck in for a transmission rebuild and the price was very fair and the work was awesome. We also take our minivan for a service as needed. These guys are really great, honest, and do a more than outstanding job. I highly recommend them!

Billy and his staff are some of the best folks around when it comes to completing quality work at a fair price. Been going there for several years and plan on going there for many more. My parents and brother also use this shop for any job too big for a shade tree mechanic. Keep up the good work.

We brought our 2016 Colorado in for a routine fluid change (transmission and differential). We picked the truck up and drove it to work. A week later we noticed transmission fluid leaking. We brought the truck back and were told they were very busy and would not get to it for a couple days. A week went by and we called and were THEN informed that the mechanic that worked on transmissions had been on vacation and would be back in a couple days. My husband called several times to check on the status of the truck. None of his phone calls were answered. I then called and was told that the truck was up next to be looked at. Oddly enough the person who answered the phone already knew who I was and what truck I was calling about without me giving any of that information, which leads me to believe they were avoiding my husbands calls. When they FINALLY looked at the truck we were told the transmission input seal had blown and that it was a coincidence that it had happened right after they had changed the transmission fluid. They charged us $897 to fix said seal that coincidentally blew right after they worked on the truck. This place is a total scam. Save your money and time and go somewhere that s honest and has better communication.Service: Transmission

We had Good Service & are Satisfied with the Service & Price on the repairs to our 2007 Ford Escape. Bill & Bubba listened to what we were saying our Ford was doing, they Put the time in on it & we re able to Completely Repair the Problems in a Decent amount of time. I am very dissatisfied and I feel taken advantage of I went in to have my vehicle diagnosed I was told that I needed a new transmission and would cost me around $4000. I took my vehicle to another transmission shop for a second opinion they did diagnostics and let me know that I did not have a transmission problem but rather an issue with my exhaust.The other shop was able to steer me in the right direction which ended up only being a $90 fix ! my vehicle runs perfectly and I saved thousands of dollars.

I made an appointment for an oil change and state inspection. I didn't have to wait long at all even though I showed up early. Very polite and got the 2 things I needed done very quickly. They also did not try to upsell me or tell me I needed things repaired that I did not need. I appreciate that I was not taken advantage of, because some places will do that.Thank you so much!

I've taken my car to this shop for years for simple oil changes up to more complex repairs. I have left every experience with the impression they conduct their business with the highest level of integrity. I highly recommend Gettysburg Transmission.

I've been going here since 2016 for oil changes, inspections and other repairs. I've never had a problem and they're good on prices! Also pretty cool dudes. Haha!!!

I love these guys. They are very kind and polite. I took my Ford Escape in to have a rebuilt transmission out in. The price could not be beat and I am very happy with the work.

The best auto repair shop around! The staff is friendly & honest & very good at their jobs - they're not out just to get your money! Their prices are reasonable, repair times are pretty short, & they have a spotless bathroom! I won't go anywhere else!

I got my car fixed the same day I dropped it off! They repaired my brake line! The total was only $106.00! Great service! Excellent mechanics! Honest business!

Gettysburg Transmission was fast and efficient on getting my truck done right away. After calling around Bill had the best price and time frame available to repair my transmission. I would recommend this shop to anyone needing automotive work, and most certainly for any transmission work.

Bill is the man! I have been going to Gettysburg Transmission since 2006 for all of my vehicle needs. He is fair, honest, and has a quick turnaround time. The staff is ASE certified. Shout out to Bubba!

Honest, reliable, family run business.Billy and his team will fix your vehicle right and get you back on the road quickly. They specialize in transmissions but will also diagnose and repair just about anything else.

Was in Gettysburg from out of town when my dash lights came on. Three garages/dealerships said they would give me an appt the day I was leaving. I stopped here and Nate went out right away and plugged the vehicle in to diagnose the problem. In a half hour I was on my way. Thanks guys!!
