They were great. We asked them short notice to do some work for us and it was Thanksgiving week. They got us in and got all the work done and did an excellent job.

Life savers.I was staying at the Laurelwood Inn down the street with my girlfriend, and during our stargazing vacation, our Jeep began making suspect noises and was vibrating pretty nastily. Google, of course, gave us a scare by suggesting it was a driveshaft issue - an expensive and likely lengthy repair that we couldn't afford in either time or money.Being 4 � hours from home, I was understandably worried. Took the Jeep to Swan's based on reviews and locality and was prepared for the worst. Judy at the desk was very kind and calming and had an adorable little dog by her side. She assured me that Fred would take a look and give us the news.Free of charge, Mr. Swan gave it a quick exam and test drive around the block and determined that the issue was nothing to be worried about. Apparently, our muffler had separated from the rest of the exhaust at some point. Needless to say, I was very thankful for their hospitality. Because of them, we were able to make it home safely and worry-free.To anyone either living in the area or just visiting, I would recommend Swan's Garage. These two are the kindest folks I've ever met and a shining example of the unmatched hospitality of Potter County.Thank you so much, Judy and Fred!- William and Lily

There isnt words for how much i appreciate the time put into fixing our car when it broke down july 3rd.. everything was done when they said it would be, which was only 3 1/2 days.The best at communicating whats wrong , what it took to fix it. I have never been so pleased with a mechanic before, and faster than down home garage. Thank you from the Bergman family.

We are not from around Galeton. We were visiting the area, and we blew a tire while we were there. I drove in to Swan s hoping that they could help me. They helped me on the spot by repairing my tire and putting it back on for me. They were awesome to deal with. I had a rear drum brake cylinder go out in my Jeep on the way to Potter County last weekend. I nursed my Jeep along to camp by dumping a can and a half of brake fluid into it over the last hour. The next morning (Saturday) I was looking at getting it repaired or driving almost 4 hours home with suspect brakes.I drove to Cherry Springs to get cell signal and started calling around to garages. I got two answering machines in Coudersport and based on google reviews decided to call Swan's in Galeton. I am fortunate that i did. I spoke with Fred at 9:20, he checked to see if he could get the part while on the phone, then told me to come over in an hour. I got to Swan's at 10:20, Fred drove me to a diner in town so I could eat breakfast while I waited . He called me before 11:20 to tell me the job was done. He picked me up and drove me back to the garage to get my vehicle. He knew I was 3 hours plus from home and could have taken advantage of that fact, but he didn't and the price he charged for the repair I thought was extremely reasonable. 5 Star experience all the way around.
