Very disappointed! Took my vehicle for body work. Had my car over three weeks. Told me that my car would be done by 5:30, just washing it. Traveled over 45 minutes to be told it wasn't done. Finally went to pick it up to be told there is a missing part and will be called when it comes in. It has been over a month and nothing. The license plate holder was put on my light, cloth backseat. Found some kind of powder residue back in the hatch. When I have picked up my car before, the car was cleaned inside and out. Not this time. Been a loyal customer, but second guessing now!

Update on 1/11/2024: The general manager reached out to me today to try to get some more details and make things right. He was unable to help because we ended up getting rid of the vehicle (approximately 3 months old) in favor of a new one since we didn't have confidence in the quality of the repairs we couldn't see given the issues we had that we could see.Update on 1/8/2024: It's been 3 weeks since the response below stated that someone would reach out to me, and that has not happened. Unfortunately, I'm not surprised as the general manager's last day at the Fairview location was also the first day we picked up our car.Original Review:I'm a bit hesitant to write this review, because the people that I worked with were always very nice and helpful. In the end, I would be unlikely to return for any future repair work.Brief version:Unfortunately, my experience was overall a frustrating one. They got me in for the estimate very quickly and started the repairs in a timely manner. When I got the car back for the first time there was additional damage and some repairs were incomplete or incorrect (more details below). They did eventually fix everything, but the quality of the paint repairs isn't great (the paint looks dull and it's swirled where they blended the repairs to the rest of the car) and there was an additional scratch on the quarter panel (the car was only 6 weeks old when we had the deer run into the car so we know it wasn't there before).More details:After a couple of weeks they reported they were having issues calibrating the camera and sent my car to the Subaru dealership. It sat there for about 2 weeks while Subaru worked on it, deciding if the windshield was installed improperly, the cameras were dirty, etc. During this time, I was told Subaru was cleaning the cameras and then replacing them (the cameras were completely functional when I dropped the car off). At one point, Subaru told me that Bonnell's had informed them that the camera was in the cup holder. Unfortunately I don't know who to believe as I received different information from Subaru and Bonnell's.When I finally got the car back (I picked it up in the dark 10 minutes before closing), the cargo area was filled with dust from the body work, there was grease or dirt on the headliner, and the shifter handle was scratched. It was as if the car was picked up from Subaru then returned to me without anyone even examining it. Again, I don't know if this was Subaru or Bonnell's that caused the damage but it shouldn't have been returned this way.Additionally, there was some damage from the deer collision that wasn't repair and the incorrect side mirror was installed.When I returned the car the following business day (I'd picked it up on a Friday), they went over my list of 12 concerns and I left my car there. A little over a week later, they had replaced the driver's mirror with the correct one, painted the scratched trim, replaced the scratched shift knob, and cleaned the interior to remove the dust and dirt, and addressed the rest of my concerns. Overall, the car was in okay condition, but I would not say it was repaired to the same condition as before the deer collision (and certainly not in the condition of a 3 month old car).

This is not an easy review to write because I truly hate giving bad reviews. I ve waited a while after my experience to write this so most of the annoyance and emotion are out of it.I hit a deer in Nov 2023. Bonnell s came and towed my car and made me aware that they would not be able to even look at my car for a couple weeks. I was fine with that and my initial experience was great. I got my car back about a month later knowing that I needed to take it back for some follow up stuff. At this point the insurance paid and maybe that s why communication and follow thought came to a stand still.After I had my car back and my schedule settled down a bit I tried contacting Bonnells to get the secondary car stuff repaired. Bonnells initially let me know that my car was fine to drive and I could bring it in anytime for the follow up stuff. A sensor needed to be ordered and I was told that they would order it and get back to me when it was in. I never heard back. After many calls and being told many times that Andy would get back to me, I finally got a bit short on the phone. I was then told to being my car in, so I did. THEY NEVER EVEN ORDERED THE PART. I was then told that they would order it and get back to me. Of course, they did not get back to me and I had to call several more times.When I finally did take my car in they gave me a loaner to use. They definitely need to stay a bit more up to date on the loaners as there were several issues, such as the wiper blades falling off and not all the seat belts had buckles.I am happy to have my car back and I am not sure what happened to make such great service (before the insurance paid) turn to such horrible service (after they paid).I will never be using Bonnells again and would not recommend them.

They made the process painless from start to finish. They dealt with the insurance company and setting up the rental. They went out if their way to make everything so easy. The work in the front end of my car looks brand new. Better than the rest of my car LOLThey even cleaned the inside!Service: Body & Trim

They did a great job on my car repair when someone backed into my car. The other drivers insurance covered the cost, thankfully.. only problem I have (which is not Bonnells fault), is that I had damge on the passenger side from a previous ice related issue, that would've cost me a few grand to fix and I didn't have the money available so it doesnt look as good as the work Bonnells just did on the driver's front side.. but at any rate, I'm happy with the work they did that was converted by the insurance.The 'Before' picture with blue tape to hold bumper on- Headlight cracked, bumper and side panel damage'After' picture shows what it looks like after repair done

Bambi decided to ruin my drive home from work last November (just figured out how to leave a review!) And Bonnell's was my first choice. They did an amazing job and honestly the truck looked better than when I bought it. They were very professional, kept me updated throughout the process, and had it done when they said they would. Took my car to be repaired after repairs were done noticeably there were bolts stripped off hood was out of line emissions sticker for under hood was never put on there attention for detail is not there

Really disappointed but wanted to write a review so this doesn't happen to someone else. My new car (lease 3 months old) suffered some damage to the front passenger door that needed fixed. The guys at Bonnell's replaced the panel and assisted me with a rental during the repair. Upon pick up the outside door looked brand new! I was thrilled. I got into the car and noticed a significant scratch of the inner lining of the door. Normally I would shrug my shoulders and leave it, but because it was a lease, I told someone at Bonnell's. The manager (I believe his name was Josh) immediately took pictures and said, "yeah it's a lease, I would be upset too." He then said he would call me the following week. No call. I called Bonnell's, explained to them that Josh had talked to me, took pictures and was helpful. They said they would find out what was going on and call me back. Nothing. I called a second time and was told I would get a call back to fix it. NOTHING. I am shocked. Disappointed.

They have gone above and beyond helping me get my truck fixed especially after what I had just gone through. I dropped it off a month early and they are trying to get it back to me sooner then my scheduled appointment because they know what I have been through!!!!! I would recommend anytime!

My vehicle was involved in an accident and needed repairs. It was a terrible experience dealing with the other parties insurance company. Once it was into Bonnell's for repairs it was smooth sailing- turned the entire experience around! They were quick and kept me updated every step of the way. They even offered to replace my other headlight for just the cost of the part. I just picked up my truck and am beyond happy with the work. The front end repair and paint job are immaculate and the brand new headlights look fantastic! The interior and exterior were spotless as well which was a nice surprise. Thank you again!! Just used them for the fourth deer collision between my husband and me. Every time everything has gone insanely smooth, even after all the Covid and backed up part issues. Smooth process between our insurance and them, too. Very little effort on our part. Thank you Bonnell s! I m very disappointed at the customer service and the time I spent dealing with the folks here. I chose to work with them because they had such high ratings on here, however they just completely had no respect for me. I was going to get some body work done on my car and visited the shop to discuss. I showed them (Andy) every piece of equipment I wanted installed and even sent them the specific specs via email so that they could ring me up a quote accordingly. I was given a quote around $500 and scheduled with them three weeks out. I had a minor fender bender in the meantime and talked to my insurance to set it up through them so I could get my bumper changed and have the parts we had previously discussed all done at the same shop. After I dropped the car off for repairs, they did everything through the insurance to repair the bumper but completely blew me off on the initial items I wanted installed. They gave me a call on the day I was supposed to pick up and told me that instead of the $500 they had estimated, it would now be well over $1,000 . I was shocked at this as I had talked to them repeatedly to get a quote ( I have emails back and forth) and showed them exactly what I needed and the parts I would purchase. After they bumped the price more than two folds, I called and tried to get at least one of the pieces I wanted installed and asked them how much it would be. Andy said he would call me back on a few minutes to confirm the cost and he just never called back... What a waste of my time. I wish y all had the decency to treat ppl with respect and not try to scam them last minute. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

The people here make it all worth it to drive out to Fairview. They looked at every angle of where my car might have been hit in the front end just to make sure nothing was "out of whack" or not lining up just right. I was truly impressed that they took time for me because I got out of work a little later than I wanted to. They did not hurry me at all. I will recommend Bonnell's to everyone I meet. Thank you again for being so kind to me.

I couldn't be happier with the repairs I just had done on my 2019 Equinox. From the friendly and welcoming staff to the professionalism and quality of work I am beyond satisfied. Everything was explained in detail before, during, and after the work was completed and it took minimal effort for me to work through the insurance claim aspect. They said it would be completed by Friday and guess what, it was completed and I got a call on Thursday that is could be picked up. Heck, they even cleaned my vehicle inside and out which was a pleasant surprise when I picked it up this morning. I highly recommend that if a Bonnell's is close enough for you, take your vehicle there!

Bodywork was done to perfection and in a timely manner. Upon return of the vehicle it was absolutely spotless as if it had been detailed inside and out. Office staff was very helpful. Unfortunately for me I have had to have several repairs done at Bonnell s. I wouldn t even consider going anywhere else. The office staff, the estimator and finally the delivery person are all extremely courteous people. They treat you with the utmost respect. The workmanship is top notch. The painting has always been an exact match. You couldn t even tell where the damage was. 5 stars all the way!!

I recently had my Subaru repaired here due to me hitting a deer and having $7k worth of damage done because of it. The staff was friendly, helpful with getting me a rental, and good with communicating what was going on with the Subaru. They had the repairs done in a timely manner and it s driving smooth again. Glad I went through them! Will recommend to friends and family and will be back again! (Hopefully not in bad circumstances)

Hello everyone, my name is Robert stoops Iown a 2016 Chevrolet Trax lT AWD . This fall my car experienced some damage from the high winds . It got all scratched up by debris, I took it to Bonnells auto body in Fairview, Pennsylvania had them look at it and give me an estimate on repairs and paint work ( hood roof and rear hatch , and glass) a very concerned estimator by the name of Andrew Forish greeted me and wrote the estimate, he informed me that he could make all arrangements through my Insurance company, to get this matter resolved. Even got me fixed up with a rental car . Wow . Set me up an appointment to bring my car back for repairs .so on January 18 I dropped off my car for repairs, they had a rental car waiting for me as promised. Now it get better from here .when they called telling me my car was finished, I was very nervous about the paint match. Folks the paint was spot on match , the work they performed was excellent the staff were very courteous handled everything for me . The car was cleaned inside and out , perfectly better than new . Yes they'll have my business for life, Scott Bonnell you have an awesome crew working at your Fairview auto body shop. A big thank you to your staff. Made my experience very awesome. This is a very late review, my experience with Bonnell's was the best experience I have ever had at a garage. My girl and I have an old Jeep wrangler we love. Well the frame started to go, so we needed a new one. Bonnell's helped me find a new frame, and they replaced it for a fraction of the cost of everyone else. They also replaced a bunch of other parts underneath as well. The last thing they did was replace the windshield which was a also a great experience. The best part is they did this right when the pandemic started. They even made a trip to my house to check pick up the new frame and jeep. I have zero negative thing to say about my experience. While on vacation someone had moved right into my daughter and I. The front bumper, lights and door were all damaged. I was so rattled from the accident. The staff was so friendly and kind. They listened to me and found more areas that I didn't know that needed to replaced because of scratches or cracks. When I got the car back I was so impressed. The car looked brand new!! The inside was cleaned, tires alined and everything ran so smooth. I cant tell you how happy I am with the whole experience.Service: Painting

Unfortunately my brand new car had some damage done to one of the doors, I'm assuming from another car door. So I had to pay for the repairs myself. They ended up being able to fix my car for less than what the estimate was which I am so thankful for. My car looks great! After hitting a deer Bonnells did a through inspection. They always do fabulous work. They make sure the car is gone over with a fine tooth comb and even minor damages are always looked at carefully and fixed. They always communicate and make sure everything is done above and beyond expectation. Not having to deal with the insurance companies is a plus. I had a little fender bender and needed a new bumper I ordered a new bumper they didn't assess the damage enough and didn't mount the bumper right cause damage to the tail gate. And the paint work they did to the driver side started to bubble and they didn't want to fix it. I waited for weeks to get my truck in and they almost never returned my calls I am very upset with the work and will never be going back i wouldn't recommend anyone to this place.Services: Painting, Body & Trim

This place is the very best around!! They are great. Very customer friendly(Cara)!! And very helpful with claim, Rental Vehicle and everything else. I hit a deer this morning around 8:00 a.m. I was home with a new rental and all paperwork completed by 10:00 a.m. Now that is service my friends!! No other place for me. Thank you Cara and Mike!!
