I purchased a Honda Fit from Copart of York Haven PA and had it dropped off at Evans Auto Repair. This is actually the second time I've used the shop in this manner. I have Evans inspect the car, fluids, tires, battery / charging, lights and give me a quick assessment. Then they keep it for me for a few days until I can line up a good deal on a flight to Harrisburg and drive the car back to Minnesota. The shop is great and will allow me to pay online / remotely so I can get the keys afterhours and start my drive back. So far so good - both times I've made it back without any issues!Service: General repairs & maintenance

I recently purchased a Saab from a company called Copart that was actually supposed to be located close to New Jersey where I have friends and family. It ended up instead being located at a sublot in the area of where Evans Repair shop is without me knowing in advance. So not being familiar with anything about the Yorkhaven area I googled Auto Service shops and found reviews like the one I am writing and thought it would be a good place to have the car checked out before I drove it the 4-5 hours back home to Pittsburgh.Sharon and Dean were very accomodating and nice over the phone without even knowing or meeting me in person and immediately set me up with a great wrecker driver named Brian to get the car safely to them.Dean had a very busy schedule however got it looked at quickly and reasonably so that I could determine how best to get it home. Dean was very informative when he explained the details of the inspection and his recommendations for me . He was even extra careful with it being a low sitting car with a loose front bumper in getting it into the shop for the inspection.I just wanted to say how glad i am to have found them online and how glad I am for these reviews that guided me to them. They are skilled honest people who are a blessing in the world of automotive needs. They are very personal and make a great team to deal with and I wish their shop was close to Pittsburgh so I could have them as my go to facility for myself and my family.I hope this review helps other people if they are looking for a trustworthy Mechanic shop whether you are local to the area or end up by chance as i did.Matthew KService: Vehicle Inspection

Bought used tires from the owner's son on Facebook Marketplace, when I arrived to pick em up they offered an amazing price to install all 4 tires on the spot. A pleasure doing business here. I'll definitely be back when I need repair work.

Excellent customer service! Vehicle was in and out in a timely manner without any surprise repairs necessary. Sharon and Dean were completely thorough in answering any questions I had in regards to my vehicle. Good honest folks at this repair shop!

I had issues with my daughter's car, that after purchasing a new battery for the car, later that evening the car wouldn't start. But the next day started right up?!?!? And 3 weeks later it wouldn't start again. This time I wasn't at home and had it towed to Evans Auto Repair. They were able to fit me in on a tight schedule. So when they went to see if it may be the starter, or even alternator, the dang thing started right up... Not sure what's going on. They did some research for me, and they may have figured it out. It has to do with the security system, and when I replaced the battery. There is a lockout mode. Well when I came to pick up my car and pay for their service. They refused to charge me. Who does this???? I TELL YOU, THEY DID!!!! They are top notch, and I highly recommend them to everyone in the Etters area.Thanks again

The first time I stopped at the shop the young lady at the front desk with the knuckle for my car that s someone else had broken a bolt off in. She directed me to lkq to get another knuckle to fix the problem. Then about four days later I stopped by the shop again to see if they could finish the a timing belt and water pump job that one of my friends had started and was not able to finish. They advised they could take a look at it to fix it. I said that it was not drive able so they helped me with a tow relationship as well. After driving it for two days after getting it back I heard a weird noise in the front end took it back and they look at that s as well. Going forward I will be taking my car to this garage for anything that is needed. I highly recommend this shop. Thanks for all you have done for me..

These guys do some fast, outstanding work. I think I might ve found my new go-to! One-day turnaround for my Blazer which was leaking a lot of tranny fluid. They called and explained what was wrong (rusted lines) and only performed the labor when I gave them the OK. When I went to pick it up today, they showed me the part and also made some solid recommendations for my ABS issue (been on for a while). Just dropped off another vehicle with them (for inspection). Top notch!

The staff has always been willing to work with our trucks and cars. Always tells it like it is. Trustworthy. Honest. Reasonably priced. If they can't fix it or it doesn't need fixed, they'll tell you rather than do something costly that doesn't need to be fixed or repaired.

I ve been dealing with Dean and Sharon Evans, in one way or another, for over 40 years dealing with my car issues. I could not be more pleased with the way they ve treated me and my vehicles during this time. I will be seriously disappointed if they are not there for me during my next 40 years.

They would rather change oil and do inspections then actually do any real work on vehicles. Do not recommend
