Mohammed and his son are the best. Hard working and very knowledgeable about diagnosing vehicles and giving advice on repairs. Very reasonable repair prices, fair and honest recommendations on what should be completed on my vehicles. Great people and great service.

Now this is my mechanic for life! Mohammed is the owner and just a great mechanic and a great person to boot! So I highly recommend this place for all your car or truck care needs. He doesn't charge an arm and leg, just cheap pricing for reliable and honest work. Tell him Lee the contractor sent you, and get the work done right!So as always, go try something new Erie, and have a great day!

Dropped truck off and told him I thought ball joints were bad. He said he d take a look and I told him I was going home to order a rental car. Went back two hours later to get my insurance card out of the truck. Truck was sitting on the side of the shop and he was inside doing nothing from what I could tell. Told me he couldn t fix it because he didn t have the right tool, but didn t bother calling me even though he knew I was ordering a rental. Lost $130 on the rental. Even worse, I took the truck elsewhere and it was two bad bushings. Wasn t even the ball joints. He obviously didn t even look at it, but didn t have the courage to tell me he didn t want to work on it. He owes me $130 as far as I m concerned.

We love going here for our inspections every year, because all the staff is SUPER knowledgeable, friendly & extremely helpful! They're very honest, & get us in and out quickly yet efficiently each time! Mohammed is our favorite because he's so knowledgeable! You'll definitely be happy with all your car service needs at West 10th Street Auto!! (We recommend them to ALL our friends!)

I got my brakes & rooters fixed about a month ago, my brakes is still not fixed they just put used ones on and after them fixing my brakes 5 lights on the dashboard popped up, my car makes a weird squeaking noise by my tires & doesn't drive the same at all. And when I took it back to see if he could take a look at it, he basically said there wasn t nothing he could do. Didn t look at it, didn t fix it, just nothing.Service: Brakes

"West Tenth Auto" should be re-named "West Tenth Con Artists". They put two small dents in my rear passenger's side; managed to break a bracket off from my new headlight before they installed it - and then gave me attitude when I came to pick up my car. Talking down to you is their idea of customer service until you're ready to pay the bill. I should not have left that shop with new damage to my vehicle - what is wrong with people today?! It was their scheme in order to have me return for future service on my vehicle (i.e. pull dents). I never returned to that joke of a mechanic, nor will I ever. East Avenue Auto Center, located at 963 East 10th Street, Erie, PA 16503, is where I service my vehicle for all of its needs (i.e. inspection, wheel bearings, brakes/rotors, etc.). I highly recommend giving East Avenue Auto a call and you'll be very satisfied with their pricing, friendliness, and competence! Unlike West Tenth Auto, they will be straight-forward and honest with you about your vehicle's condition and what it needs. West Tenth Auto charges you for very poor customer service (and, sometimes, for the labor it took them to damage your vehicle). They cannot be trusted, have multiple negative reviews on their Google Maps page, and lack basic mechanical knowledge. Just say, "NO! ," to West Tenth Auto. Bunch of crooks!

This mechanic I'm here is A-1 not always a quick process but you won't have any issues with your car. I'll take quality over time any day. Only suggestion make sure you know what is wrong with your car before taking it in they don't have a diagnostic test computer.

Bought a junk car from them and they refuse to work with anyone. Only made it 50 miles. And they are rip offs on their work. I witnessed a drug deal while I was there
