Extremely rude employees. Rented a 26 foot for the entire weekend. When we went in to pick up, we were asked "do you have this truck ALL weekend?" And we replied "yes". The woman then rolled her eyes, said "you're killing me" and walked away without helping. The other employee explained that it's they busy time and we're "taking away from their business". Confusing bc we are their business as we're paying for the service. When I explained their unprofessional behavior, the employee became argumentative and even ruder. I filed a complaint with corporate as well.

The staff has gone out of their way to assist me with a storage need after a move from Florida and then assisting me with a subsequent move from storage to a rental apartment. Everyone at this facility has always been smiling and helpful. I highly recommend them to anyone needing storage or trucks or moving assistance.

We have used East Grandview uhaul for our 4 moves and 2 of our son's moves. Trucks were always ready on time and in good working order. Staff was always friendly. We also rented a climate controlled storage unit for several years, always clean. Highly recommend this uhaul.

Super rude. Lost my wallet during the move and its Impossible to get ahold of the location to talk to someone personally to see if it showed up there. You will deal with a bunch of robots that give you the run around. Only way to see is to drive all the way back to that location. Completely asinine service that makes no sense

Preordered a truck for a move, I called to confirm the day before and at the time of my pickup, after being dropped off, I am told the truck at this location is no longer available for me. Received no form of communication to let me know, I find out they are sending me to a farther location for a different truck and that location offers a $10 discount and 20 cents off the mile for my inconvenience. This discount ends up costing me near the same of the original quote since the location is much farther and out of the way, so essentially nothing for such an added headache on an already stressful move. I m now driving farther, had movers waiting on me because now I m late, and all they offer is a generic I don t know why you didn t notified .

These guys were so easy to deal and super friendly. It s not everyday that you get people in any kind of service industry that are friendly and out going. I wish I would of gotten the girls name that helped me. She is a awesome representative of uhaul.

Repeated times, the storage access, which is supposed to stay open until 10pm, has shut access off early.I notified the manager multiple times. Once, the expectation was set that it would be fixed. The next night, same thing and no answer when I called the after hours help number.Now again, this has happened and again no answer or return call from the after hours manager.Beware if you want storage from this location and need after normal hours access. My experience has not been great. I'll be seeking a new location when my current month is over.All that said, it's a shame. The day staff has been nothing but accommodating, polite, and customer service focused!

I have never written a bad review for anywhere, even if I have received less than great service, so this is a new one for me. I rented a U-box here, and loaded my materials on-site on 6/14/18. Everything went extremely smoothly (including the rental of a 10' truck to load all of my items to bring them from my apartment to the location), and my items were scheduled to arrive to me where I moved on or around 6/27/18. It is now 6/26/18, and all of my belongings are still at E Grandview Location waiting to be shipped. I have called the store multiple times and I am either told that somebody will get back to me, or that it's not an error on the physical store's end as to why my stuff is not on a truck and on its way to me. I have escalated this to the highest possible degree through U-Haul customer service, and it is still not resolved, because this location also closes at 5PM , so by the time I get out of work I can't reach anyone. I have never in my life been given the runaround like this and I would not recommend this place to anyone anymore. You used to be able to do U-Boxes from the Pittsburgh Ave location, so if that starts up again, go there and not here. Once this issue is resolved I'll update this review, but it is still staying at 1 star, regardless.

Reserved a 17ft truck for today at grandview, they called me saying the truck i reserved was in an "accident" but they had one at another location. Show up to the other location to be told there is no truck here or anywhere else available. Then i see a short bald dbag with tribal tattoos pull in with the original truck i was supposed to rent with a busted windshield from a baseball bat. Me and my wife lost $500 in lost wages from taking off work for no good reason on top of her storage unit that needed cleared out today being extended another month because of it.Edit: i was finally contacted by upper management. They sincerely apologized, gave us a $50 voucher and offered to pay for the 300 miles i was driving. Taking from 1 star to 4

This place is absolutely great! Brand new, clean and pristine storage units with heated garages to unload your belongings. Trucks are clean and run great. Everybody is so friendly! Reading some of these other reviews, I can't imagine it being about these same people. Maybe there was a change in ownership or something? I highly recommend.

Absolute trash and completely unprofessional. I waited for 20 minutes with no employees around, I walked around the back of the building to find someone to help. I was told they'd be right there but after another round of waiting, nothing. U-haul ought to be embarrassed.

Extremely disappointed. I rented a U box for my move and when it was delivered A LOT of my items were damaged or destroyed. I paid for the additional insurance and when I inquired of the delivery driver what I need to do or who I need to talk to about replacement, they very quickly jumped in the truck, told me a manager would call, and drove off down the road. I have not heard from, nor been able to reach anyone from Uhaul regarding this matter. I will never use a Uhaul again, nor would I ever suggest anyone using this company.

This is one of the nicest U-Haul locations in Erie, the staff was very helpful and friendly to me and treated me very kindly. The facility is pretty huge and used the old Kmart space wisely. I would definitely recommend using this U-Haul location out of the others in Erie!

Tiarra was great she took the time to explain everything to us and also stayed after hours to help us out because another location at West 12th Street miss informed us. Tiarra has awesome customer service and was very nice. I would recommend anyone ask for her. Thank you tiarra for everything you are the best
