Firestone Complete Auto Care:I strongly advise against people patronizing,Firestone, State Street Erie, PA.I experienced an emergency situation,which required me to seek emergency repair service at Firestone!So going against my rational and better judgment?Firestone's a big automotive chain,who cannot be trusted!Firestone had been ripping off and defrauding the public for over 40 years!Trust me when, I say this!Firestone, The big box Automotive chain.Is not the place you want to take your car for any type of repair work?In fact you're better off seeing your own personal mechanic!Your mechanic will not rip you off,like Firestone who will rip you off?(Review still in progress)

The Technician completed my lifetime alignment warranty!"Did a good job on my warranty"Issue number one:My high beams was working,when I drove my car into the shop.I pointed this out to the manager,"I use my high beams due to left headlightbeing out!""I run my high beams in the daytime."Solution'"The manager got me a high beam bulb,at no charge"I thanked him very much for helping me!Issue number two:The technician who worked on my car:My plastic underneath the car which protects,the oil pan was not screwed in.The plastic was loose and it dragged on the ground.I pointed this out to the manager!All my screws were missing!for the plastic piece, which fits underneathmy car protecting,the undercarriage of my front end!This did not make me happy at all!The manager had the young technician zip-tie!the plastic piece protecting my front end!No I'm not HAPPY!The plastic piece should have been screwed in,The technician should have finished his job!I don't want the same technician ever touch my car again.I come into a big box store automotive!I expect my job to be completed.the first time around!I should not Have a bad experience at aGoliath Automotive business and leave with more car problems!Remember NBC News investigative journalism on big box store automotive businesses horror stories!Like...Pep Boys, Meineke,Maaco, Midas, AAMCO, etc...A lot of people still remember!I'm one of those people who remember!OVERALL:I'm satisfied with the manager's response,He replaced my light bulb!The young technician did a good job!

Went in for my inspection. Failed because I was told I needed brake pads and a battery, nearly $700 worth of work. I decided to go to Kia Auto Express, (I own a Kia), PASSED WITH FLYING COLORS! I didn't need brake pads or a battery. It was just a way to take advantage of me. I shouldn't be surprised, but I am. I PAID THEM TO FAIL ME DUE TO ITEMS I DID NOT NEED! SAVE YOUR TIME AND YOUR MONEY, AVOID THIS PLACE! THEY CAN'T BE TRUSTED!

Had a flat tire on my rental car traveling through Erie (Animal bone through the side wall). They went above and beyond to help me and get my tire replaced. They called the rental company for me and were very, very helpful . Even if the rental company was not.

Have gone here before , will not return for services again. 5 hours to complete inspection. Tech barely was around to work on my car. No idea where he s at. Quote for repairs changed twice. Went to autozone to get items to be repaired , went elsewhere and saved myself $400

Brought my car in due to it having stalling problems when my foot was on the brakes. I was told that that the problem was my alternator and I would need a new alternator, battery and belt. I paid $1400 for everything, but I still had the problem. I took my car to an actual dealership who diagnosed the problem as my ignition coils and spark plugs being severely rotted. I took my suv back to firestone and told them I was still having the same problem and it was diagnosed as the ignition coils and spark plugs. They told me nothing was wrong with the ignition coils or spark plugs and it was only the alternator. They replaced the alternator again, test drove the suv and stated it is working properly. On my way home, the car started stuttering worse than when I brought it in, and the check engine light came on. I wasted my money on a new alternator and belt and had to have the SUV towed. I will never go back to firestone for service again. They are scammers. I have already warned my family, friends and clientele about this place.

BEWARE!!!!!I HAD APPOINTMENT FOR 1030 AM TO GET WHEEL ALIGNMENT.WAITED OVER 3 HRS BEFORE THEY TOOK MY CAR IN!!!!!!THEY TOOK IN WALKIN CUSTOMERS BEFORE ME!PROBABLY BECAUSE I HAVE LIFETIME ALIGNMENT AND THEY HAVE TO IT FOR FREE!!!I PULLED OUT AT 155 PM WITH A 1030 APPT.!!!!!DO NOT GO HERE!!!!

Firestone does very poor quality unsafe work. The 5 star reviews posted are clearly added by the company to boost their review average. As you can read below many 1 star reviews. The employees are extremely overworked but try their best. I bought a car from the company I work for as they purchased a new one and work was completed at FS. Car was serviced by FS for many years prior. Car was brought in to have rear hatch lifts replaced and brake issue resolved. FS shattered the rear window and never finished installing hatch lifts. The defroster solder tab was broken on the used replacement window they installed. Front calipar installed sticking and leaking after less than 500 miles. Battery was dead. Coolant system very dirty and power steering leak both never brought to their attention. Loose wheel lug nuts. Left message for unavailable manager with no callback. But they were very respectful to me when I went to pick up car that was plowed in with snow 36" plus on all sides. I asked a week ahead for them to plow out. I had to shovel myself. A passerby stopped and helped. Don't go to chain stores for auto repairs. High employee turnover and overworked staff doing their best. Support local businesses and get better quality work that will keep you and your family safe. My advice to upper management is to be a leader in the industry and hire additional help and increase salaries/bonuses.

I take my car here regularly. Great crew and most staff are friendly. Good waiting area and coffee available. It is a convenient and reliable shop if you work downtown.

I don't even know what happened here. I'm pretty sure this dude was on drugs. I came in telling this guy I needed a tire patched for an RV. He asked to update my info and I did. He then asked which tire it was. I said front right I don't know why that matters. I have this tire in the back of a brand new Mercedes. He comes out I pop the trunk n show him....he then starts looking at the other front tires on this Mercedes n tells me he's gonna look to see if there's a match. First of all dude I duno why you're looking at any other tires other than the one I showed you in the trunk. I said a match for what? N he says the tire. I said sir, I don't want a new tire. I said and showed you multiple times what I wanted. Then I was fed up n said nevermind. Wild.

Firestone and the people are nice they're the only thing I did not liked was they could have explained to me about snow tires and regular tires even though I'm happy with what I purchased because I didn't find that out till I went for inspection.I believe that the wait time for your vehicle is a very long time but they do do an all right job about 5 tires and two were not really on my truck good so I had to have them taken off and put back on I found out they didn't seal them good.But I still would recommend them to people.

The day started beautifully as we were leaving the state of NY and headed home to Kentucky. However, between Jamestown and Eerie the right rear tire blew out completely on our GMC Acadia. It was down to tire remnants and rim. We called a few tire stores in Eerie but it being a Sunday multiple places were closed. Even once we reached some shops they didn't have the tire we needed in stock. Finally we reached George at Firestone. From the moment his calm and soothing voice answered the phone I knew we were saved. Not only was this Firestone the only place in 40 miles that had our tire, but George was able to get us in immediately (you know, once we limped the 33 miles in on our doughnut). The tire was actually less expensive than he originally quoted on the phone (another win!) and in no time flat we were back on the road. They even put our spare and all of our tools back in the correct spots. Big thanks to George and team!

Went and took my car to check my ac because it was not blowing cold air. After 4 hours of waiting all I could see is that they left my car running without doing anything else. They ended up telling me that the compressor was turning on and off and that I would need to get that replaced because it was faulty. I asked if there was any refrigerant leaks and they told me they could not see anything leaking. This answer did not sit right with me and thank God it didn t because they quoted me $1500 to change the compressor. I declined and took it to a friend who checked the ac and turns out the relay for the compressor was the one that was faulty. The relay costs $10 so my friend fixed the ac for $10 when Firestone wanted to fix it for $1500 replacing a good working compressor. They didn t even have the decency to put back the ac high and low pressure caps back on. Stay away from these scammers it s all about money for them not helping the customer. I wouldn t trust them for even a simple oil change.

Steve (working at the front desk on 10-15-22) is super awesome! We had an emergency realignment that s needed. It s the weekend, they were busy, but he made the schedule work. He is very pleasant to work with and had great customer service skills. He helped us put in tires as well. The techs in this store are also awesome. Thanks Firestone State Street for helping us in our time of need!

Had tires put on my Kia and Firestone said I need a rear wheel bearing replacement. So after I had scheduled an appointment which was at 7 am not one tech could get my wheel bearing off they told me everything was rusted out and the only way to replace it was to order a new knuckle a new trailor arm and quoted me 1,900 dollars. Of if it's not an easy job there techs will not go the extra mile to get the job done. Took my car to my local mechanic and guess what he got it off and only charged me 270.00 wow so stay away from Firestone

Purchased tires and they said they could get me right in. It's been over 2 hours with a toddler. Tires were decently priced, howeverCustomer service awful.. when I asked why my hood was up in the shop for my tires being changed, he said they do a free fluid check and fill them. I was not explained this at all so I'm waiting even longer. The guy seen I had a little one with me. All I wanted was my tires put on!! Wasted so much of my time with a cranky baby.Service: Tires

I just finished having my tires replaced and am blown away by the incredible service I got there. I had a tire warranty service plan from when I purchased my vehicle, and they made the process way easier than I expected it to be. The manager and staff were very friendly and helpful. The service was extremely fast, especially for how many appointments they had. Best experience I ve ever had getting any work done to car.

Terrible management. I booked an appointment for emission and state inspection test and when I went, I was told that they had booked appointment for complete vehicle inspection test and they don't have any appointment for emission test until next week. I booked the next appointment and this time they said their technician has quit and they can't service my vehicle. They did not even had courtesy to call and let me know. Instead of apologizing, he was giving me the next date. Oh hell no!! Never going there again ever. Have bee n a customer of Firestone in Pittsburgh with great service but very disappointed at their Erie workshop. I wish I could give them Zero star.

Got an oil change for a great price. There less than an hour. The manager Jeremy P was super cool and very professional to every customer no matter what their circumstances, and I noticed how he treated everyone respectfully as I waited. Will be giving them my business moving forward. They took great care of me and the other customers I observed.

I threw up 5 stars, but I need to explain why. I bought a new (to me) car and noticed a fluid leak. No big deal, called Firestone they got me in within a day. They called me same day with word on what was going on. Then they did something I have not experienced with other mechanics. They *showed* me what was going on! I mean actually lifted the car and let me look as they explained! Turned around and returned the car immediately (that's a whole different review). They basically saved me from keeping a lemon and years of continued repair! Firestone will be at the top of the list for future car repairs and maintenance! Staff was super friendly and answered all of my questions.

We had an appointment to put on four tires we bought there. First they tried to up-charge each tire with nonsense, including a "valve stem" charge, which we didn't need because we have pressure sensors on our vehicle, and changed the price twice before we got out the paperwork showing the quoted price was good for 30 days. They then told us we would get a $150 rebate from the price of the tires, which was almost a thousand dollars. When we submitted the application online for the rebate, it said there were no current promotions and kicked us off the site. I called the customer service number listed and was told the offer expired before our installation and we were not eligible, even though the salesman said it was valid. Very disappointed in such poor customer service and shady practices, do not recommend them and will not go there again.

HIGHLY WOUD NOT RECOMMEND! I took my car to another shop and didn t agree with the price so I I took it to Firestone. I told them what the other shop said was wrong and they asked if I would like to pay an additional $10 for a full exam to make sure that was the reason for my car shaking i said yeah. $1400 later my car is shaking worse the day I picked it up. Call back dropped it back off they state they did their part correctly. They stated they test drove my car but theirs no way because it was shaking worse when I picked it up . Wish I would ve went with the first shop. This place literally scams you.

Horrible..came in with a flat .bought 2 new tires just for these idiots to put them on the wrong wheels and all they can say is sorry ....lawsuit coming soon
