VERY DISAPPOINTED! I have been coming here for about 2 years- over that time I would say they have overcharged in comparison to other garages but, I wanted to believe it was because they do a good job.Well- that s not the case.The owner and his mechanic Andy are VERY rude.They hang up on you when your asking questions about the work needed they re short tempered and they book you for a Friday but, then don t even pullYour cat in until Saturday. (Double booking on purpose to make more $ and not care about you needing your vehicle)I had my vehicle in and had a diagnostic done along side some minor work.Nothing major was noted to me other than quick strut. That was within the last month.This last week my belt broke and I had the car towed to browns. Was told my ac compressor went and it s a $1000 repair.( my vehicle is a 2007 and it has over 250k miles) so I said I didn t want to spend that much on the car and asked if they could bypass the ac compressor so I can get the car back home and decide what to do next.The literal TANTRUM that Andy and Brian had over this was unbelievable.They refused to bypass the AC and left me scrambling to figure out what to do.I ended up pushing the car down the road to my work ordering a belt and doing it myself in about 35 minutes from a YouTube video.I ve spent A TON of money here over the years and because I didn t wanna just keep dumping money into an old car they basically said kiss my A we re not doing anything.GREEDY. and really just idiotic behavior as now I ll never return and based on my cars history of needing repairs I m actually not to bad of a customer considering how often I m in the garage spending money.Don t go here.

Pretty upset with these guys. Took my truck in to have a few things looked at before a long road trip. There was some things going on in my front end that I wanted them to look at. They said it was all good. I get done with the trip and the parts that I told them to look at are not functioning properly. So I let them replace my ball joint (they did need replacing I was just waiting to do that one) and of course they didn t seat the boot on it all the way. So to make a long story short they didn t seem to look at what I asked them too and did their own thing so they can make a quick buck.Edit: turns out there work is not only shotty, they re gonna kill someone one day. Couldn t even tighten lug nuts down properly. Both of my rear tires almost came off because the studs sheared off. I noticed my front lugs weren t very tight when fixing the problems they wouldn t. My back wheels almost came off on the freeway because these guys don t even know how to put on a wheel properly. There is so many levels of negligence from these guys it s ridiculous. Don t go here they are a serious safety hazard

Good honest people, take care of you and do good work, recommended them to several friends and family.Also like to add that they also scheduled me in for a appointment before their official open hours

They are excellent to work with and go over details of what needs fixed or what may need fixed soon. I had no surprises picking my either of my vehicles. Very responsible pricing!!They also went over my vehicle before a long road trip I was going to take to make sure everything was good to go, and give me some security for a long road trip with am older vehicle.Thank you so much!

If I could give 100 stars I would. Long story short. Was having boat issues. Reached out to a group on Facebook. Andy reached out so I took my boat to him. EXCELLENT SERVICE. I'm from Pittsburgh. Needed a place in Erie to get my boat fixed. He kept me in the loop and sent me pics of what was wrong and the fixes. He and the rest of his crew were absolutely great. Great customer service and great job fixing boat with a 2 week turnaround. At a very reasonable price. I would recommend him to anyone. Great people. Great work.

Wonderful experience every time I have used their service! They are quick in service and incredibly reasonable with pricing. I have never had any unexpected costs. Great place! Very helpful. My work truck broke down in Erie omw from Chicago to NY he got me back on the road in no time. Fair prices, very nice guy! Definitely take your vehicle here.

Disappointed. When I questioned a $70 diagnostic " charge. Knowing that I was not happy with the charge he left me walk out the door. Didn't seem to care about future business

Brown's helped me in an emergency, they not only fixed my car but also provided me with excellent communication throughout the process. Even conversations in the waiting area were fantastic. Good people. I wish they could be my regular shop, but I live way too far away.

Driving back to Arizona from NY, my water pump went out. Had to spend a night at a truck stop and in the morning I found this shop.I wish I can give them 10 stars.They were friendly and helped me immensely. You hear so many horror stories of mechanic shops taking advantage of out of state travelers but not this shop.These guys are top notch and veteran friendly.Can t thank them enough for how they helped me.

EDIT: UPDATE ON 2ND APPOINTMENT:As I said in my original review, I would amend the rating if yesterdays bad situation was made right for us.... And giving credit where it's due, Browns stepped up and made things right today. They offered to pick the car up (which my wife appreciated but ultimately declined), got the inspection done before the car was needed to pick our son up at school, let us know that the rear brakes would need to be swapped out in the next few months probably, and they also drove to Northeast for an inspection sticker since theirs still didn't come in the mail. On top of that they filled the tank after driving it for the sticker. Our family appreciates companies that do right by people, especially after criticism, and we are satisfied that Browns did just that for us. Thanks for making it right!ORIGINAL POST:Surprised to leave a bad review.... but here we are.My wife scheduled to have her car inspected today a couple weeks ago. This was to be our families first experience with this business after having moved close by a year ago. She dropped the car off and walked home this morning around 9am +/-. At 1pm she called to check in on the inspection to determine if my son would need an alternative ride home from school or not.... During her conversation, she fond out that the car was not only NOT inspected, but one of the mechanics was sent elsewhere off site, the Mechanic on site was busy and had not gotten to it yet, and they don't even have inspection stickers there currently.We understand issues and schedule changes happen.... But communicating these things is imperative and it is very frustrating to now have to rearrange our schedule, again, and to lose use of the vehicle, again, because no one communicated to us that the inspection probably wasn't going to happen today. That is unacceptable for a SCHEDULED service.We rescheduled for tomorrow and will adjust the rating if they make things right.

After unexpectedly breaking down 140 miles from home, we went with recommended shop from tow truck driver. Couldn't find a better shop! Outstanding service, repairs done quickly and reasonably priced. Brian and his crew are great.

Nevermind 5 stars, These are 10 star people with a 10 star business, the most honest, genuinely helpful people I have ever met in my life, they put everything possible down that they could to help me out, not knowing me from Adam, I'm an out of towner (sad as it is that's not always welcome everywhere), they will 100% strive with their great business. They went above and beyond, you don't get that everywhere, I would recommend this hospitable service center to everyone. Keep up the good work guys and may you always feel appreciated you deserve greatness in every aspect of your lives, thank you again I appreciate you all so much.

Great friendly family service! They seem to be skilled in all different areas of work. And they just also took on Intoxalock to bring another ignition interlock dealer into the area. From what I hear there aren't many so nice to see someone new helping bring better access to the area!

We had nowhere to go...and we knew the part was gonna take a day or two....and Cheryl was an absolute Angel. She brought us to the hotel we needed had to go to...and her husband Brian did everything he could to try and fix our van.
