First Time customer coming in for Inspection. Car had a moderate frame issue, but the Owner gave me a Very Fair price. That's Exceptional nowadays. These guys really know Automobiles. It's No Wonder they're So Busy. If You want your Auto repaired Right, at a Decent Price, you need to come here. I was a Mechanic for awhile myself. I Highly Recommend this Place to Everyone. 2 Thumbs up and 5 .

First appt made week advance 8am. Boss late, no show eventually, no call to cancel. I'm disabled told I them would have to wait .3 hrs my car never moved! Told I could reschedule. Unprofessional

Went to AL's for my first PA inspection. Really nice guy. Explained the whole process and estimate of how long it would take. Gave frequent updates and ETA when it would be done.

I have been going to ALs auto for the past year and always a pleasant experience! As a girl, it s hard to find a decent mechanic who doesn t overlook you and try to overcharge you, but I never feel that way at Al s. I appreciate how he takes the time to show you and explain to you the issue and the best way to solve it, and he always considers the customer. So happy to have found a great mechanic!

Moved from a state where I never had to deal with inspections. I got lucky that Al s was the first place I went to and haven t looked back. If you re in the same boat, give it a try.

Just moved to town from out of state and came here for my car inspection. The owner was super friendly and I was in and out in less than an hour. I'm very happy with with this place, and will be returning for all of my automotive needs!

I am happy to report that Al s auto is the real deal. We had both of our cars inspected yesterday knowing they would each require some work. My husband and I are so impressed with the efficiency of the work. They were honest, trustworthy, reliable, affordable, and effective. Prices were competitive and completely reasonable, there was no unnecessary pressure that you often times feel. We will return here time after time. Thank you to Al and the staff. I especially appreciate how kind and patient you were in taking time to explain everything and get the appointment times to fit into our schedule. We appreciate you guys !! Our cars are running great !!

Al is very kind and very good with his services. He is honest with the results of the inspection. He makes proper recommendations, but does not price gouge either. He points his customers to most affordable options, while maintaining the safety and integrity of the vehicle. Will definitely be a loyal customer from now on!

Needed a PA inspection from out of state. AL's had the best reviews around, and was the only shop to give me an appointment. Couldn't be happier with the result. Al is a friendly and honest person who performs excellent work in a timely fashion. Thanks Al (and team).

After going to the same place for my inspections for the last 10 years. I contacted them with a family emergency and they said they couldn t get me in until mid September. I was just devastated!! I literally just called and spoke to Al to see if there was anyway he could squeeze me in for an inspection due to a family emergency and having to leave town on Monday. I m so beyond thankful that he told me to bring my vehicle in tomorrow and he would see what he could do. I m praying that I will be able to have my inspection done, so I can leave town as planned. I cannot thank Al enough for his kindness and promptness to get me in so fast. Hopefully all goes well and I will be back to finish my review and hopefully a new place of business to forever be using from here on out

I just called to make an appointment with Al's for the first time because I've been having some trouble with my car. I have only had a phone call so far, but compared to nearly every other auto shop who answers the phone like you're interrupting their day, Al's customer service was leaps and bounds better. Will update review after appointment but im sure it will only get better.Edit: everything went great and Al is a very personable and honest guy. Always get a second opinion on an issue you're having, but once you confirm your diagnosis get your work done here. Fair prices and decent work.

UPDATE: I've been going to Al's for about a year now, and the guys who work here are THE BEST. They are extremely friendly, helpful, and accommodating. I have since recommended his shop to friends and family, and I know that those who have visited have felt the same. Choose Al's! You won't regret it.ORIGINAL: I ve only been to Al s Auto once, but I felt like he was a very honest and kind man and his staff were equally friendly and accommodating. I ll definitely be coming here again and recommending it to my friends and family.

Thanks Al for your service and professionalism.Called Al for an auto inspection, got the appointment at my convenient time. When went there with the car, he did took care of it right away and faced no issues. Charged very reasonably. Pleasant experience and will go back for future needs.

I recently moved to Erie four months ago and didn't know what to do when the snow caused me issues driving my car. I called around to ask for pricing and suggestions and Al offered the same services for more reasonable prices compared to the other service providers in Erie. He was super flexible and after I arrived literally had the job done in about 25 minutes. His workers were amazing! Seriously, great job to Al and all of you guys that worked on my car!! A+++

After being told by another shop there would be longer than a 2hour wait to have a tire fixed I checked these guys out and wow! They had me in and out in less than 15 minutes and the price couldn't be beat! Thanks guys, keep up the great work!Service: TiresService: Tires

I am beyond impressed by Al's Auto. I am genuinely pleased with their service and attitude. Everyone was extremely friendly and welcoming. As a female who looks and sounds younger than most, I am typically looked over when trying to get service at automobile establishments. However, this was not the case at Al's Auto. They answered my telephone call professionally and courteously. I needed my vehicle inspected and they were able to provide same day service at an affordable price. They did a thorough inspection and detailed the entire process to me in a respectful manner. I will definitely be going to and making recommendations to Al's Auto for future needs. THANK YOU!!!!!!

Al and Amir were so helpful. Service was quick and very accommodating on time. I needed to get a broken mirror replaced and Al was very clear on my options and how much it would cost. Was not pushy at all like many auto places I have gone in the past. Prices were very reasonable as well. Overall fantastic experience and will definitely recommend.

I took my car here to get it inspected because I saw they had good reviews. They are certainly deserving of the good reviews in my experience. AL is a good guy and friendly. He also gave me an accurate estimate on how long it would take which was nice.

I go to school in Erie and was looking for a reliable mechanic to take my car to. Every time I ve gone it s been a pleasant experience. They took me back into the shop and showed me exactly what the issues were with my car on the lift. I have received discounts as well. I am very pleased with the service and the people who work here. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for reliable car service in Erie.

Had a great experience at AL's. Everyone was very friendly. Went for an inspection and had to stay at shop while it was completed. They were very considerate and got to my car right away. Was done very efficiently and fast. Would recommend.

Was looking for a private shop and this one came up first. I read through the reviews and all of them were positive. Called on a Wednesday, and I got in on Saturday for an inspection. Someone was ahead of me so I made small talk asking him about the service and they informed me that they've been coming here for about a year and they have been excellent and work with you very well. Took about 45min to an HR for the inspection. 1.5 hrs less than when I took my car to a dealership. I was very impressed with the service and how kind everyone was. Would recommend to friends and family.

Great service. Was able to walk in on New Years Eve and get my car inspected in 25 minutes! The clerk estimated 1 hour, but as my car is new, it only took 25 minutes. Cost $73.62 for the inspection. Waiting room is decently clean for a car shop. They did get some dirt on the interior of my car. I only bring it up/noticed this because my car is new. I'm just glad it was dirt and not grease. It came out with a Lysol wipe. Overall, I would recommend this shop. I was very glad to be able to get my inspection done immediately, especially as it was New Years Eve when other shops were closed.

I usually go to small shops to avoid corporate prices. I was pleasantly surprised at how friendly and professional they were. They were honest and communicative, and allowed me to park my car there for a couple days before it could be worked on. My car drove out of there road ready and the whole experience was positive. Thank you Al!

These guys are great! They're pretty down to earth and they actually car for your car like you would. They like things done right, the way they should. And they're not about to let a car "slide by".....so if you're just looking for a sticker don't bother with them. However if you want a car that's undoubtedly safe give 'em a call! I just called today at 11am for an inspection, and they had me in by noon.

These guys are great! Very professional and fairly priced. They were able to do an inspection on the weekend which was great and they managed to take care of a minor repair the same day to get my car up to par to pass. Very friendly. Would definitly recommend to anyone in the area!

Amazing service! Very knowledgeable about his craft, and had my car good to go in just a few hours. Loved the atmosphere of the shop and everyone working. Huge recommendation if you need any work done!
