I stopped into this shop on a cold rainy day when I needed a quick car repair. I didn't have an appointment but was kind of desperate. Ray and his team were more than happy to help me out and get me on my way. Everyone wants a good, local, reliable, afforable mechanic and this is the place. Back in the day the previous owner Henry was our family mechanic, and Ray has stepped right into those big shoes Henry left. If I lived locally this would be my place. If you live locally it should be yours.

I went to these guys to replace one wheel, my wheel, just one wheel. The guy started telling me that he didn t have free time, then he got it and he wanted 35 bucks for replacing one tire)))) I said, no thanks, got into his car, he came out after me and said I can do it for 30 bucks, I again refused such a generous offer. $35 for 5 minutes of work. In general, I don t recommend coming here; look for a better place; here they will deceive you and offer a price that is not commensurate with the work performed.

The folks here at Ray and Randy's are the best. They helped me out when I was in need of an inspection. I bring both my cars here and I will not go anywhere else. Fast, friendly and easy on the wallet, lol! Go check them out if your in need of repairs.

Brought a car in off of a lot from Philly, en route to Missouri. Blew a front main seal. Tyler let me leave the vehicle there and promised to work on it as soon as he could. The next day he had it diagnosed with a cracked harmonic balancer and front main seal. I picked the vehicle up about a week later and drove it back with no issues. Good to work with and honest prices.

I made an Appointment for a Friday, just for the normal oil change and fluid top up, and my car died that Tuesday. Despite that I dropped it off that night and they even got it done for me by 10am the next day. Thanks Ray and Randy s!

This place is by far the best. I have been experiencing trouble with my car since December and they have addresses every issue in a very timely manner. I never leave there feeling like I am being taken advantage of. They are trustworthy and a wonderful garage to work with. I live in New Holland and drive to Ephrata just because I trust them and have had very good experiences. Was in Ephrata for a delivery had some brake issues so came here. Replaced brakes, one caliper, and some odds and ends in about 3 hours with 2 guys working on it. This was a Ram 3500 so that's pretty impressive. Staff was very helpful and let us know what else was going wrong with truck.Service: BrakesService: Brakes

My mom used this place for years I went because she trusted them. Ladies, it s better to go with someone who knows then to go alone.I ended up traveling out of town to get my truck looked at and repaired for an oil pan gasket and some other things. A month or so later I went back for a new alternator, battery and some odds and ends. I continued having issues with my truck and decided to go to someone local out my way.I showed the paperwork on what was done to my vehicle by Randy s shop and I also went with someone to verify what mechanic saw etc.Right in front of me I was shown everything that was not done and what something looks like when it s old, just replaced and what it supposed to look like after.I got charged for parts and labor but I never got anything replaced at Randy s. The Mechanic actual felt bad for me for getting played the way I did, helped me get the parts, showed me how to do it, what to look for and he did it for free .Trust is big for me. Take before and after pictures. And if you can help it, take a friend or educate yourself on your own vehicle. I ll never return. Lesson learned.

My Car was due to go in to their shop on Monday night for a Tuesday inspection. I ended up going out Sunday night realizing my car would not start. I called left a message for them explaining what was happening. They call me back within a few hours and explain that they would come out on Monday. Monday they came with the roll back. However they were able to jump start my car. Even after I attempted several times with no luck. The 2 men that came out We're respectful and honest. My car was taken down to the shop for me. They Realized it was just my battery being dead. They put it on the charger for me, did an oil change,state inspection and emissions. By 9 o'clock Tuesday morning they gave me a call to come and get it. I highly recommend this place and wouldn't trust anyone else with my car.I also have had several oil changes done by them and they also put on a tow package including a heavy duty cooling system, tow bar, ball mount, and break controller with a 7 plug.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Vehicle Inspection, Auto emissions testing, Battery, Oil change

I ve been going to RAY for almost 16 years and I ve never had an issue with any of his work from top end motor work down to a turn signal bulb and I will be a regular customer until I can t drive a motor vehicle anymore. There are plenty of garage from Lancaster to Ephrata but I rely on RAY s or I wouldn t drive all that way to get there to have my repairs done right.Services: Steering & suspension repair, Engine repair, Auto maintenance

These guys were awesome. I am from MA, (far from home). Needed brake work done in order to drive and get home for the holidays. Ray and his guys got me in that morning to fix my brake problem. Not only did they have the parts, but they were able to do it and complete it that same day and i can get home for Christmas ! I would definitely recommend this shop to anyone ! Excellent customer service and very good price ! Thanks guys !!!!

I asked Ray to do one more oil change & trip check before moving out of state. He did a wonderful job. I am sorry to be losingf Ray & Randy's as my car repair and maintenance place. They have always been there when I needed them and if something ever was not quite right, they made it good. I just had both my vehicles in for inspection and emissions. Joe the one who did them is an honest tech I been having him do my vehicles for the last 5+ years even when he worked at a different location... Where ever he goes I will go! And randy and the females who run it are nice and look out for you. I had issues getting my registration and insurance printed and they helped me out and printed it... Thank you guys for providing a place I feel comfortable with taking my vehicles knowing I'm not getting ripped off!. Ill be comming back again.

Ray & Randy's go out of their way to help customers like me when the stress of moving hits---they have let me keep my truck longer when I didn't reserve it long enough, and changed my reservation for me, and have advised me on how to use the UHaul website as well. Over the past few years I have needed to rent trucks on two separate occasions and interacting with them is always so positive. Highly recommend them!

My husband and I have been going to Ray and Randy's for around 5 or so years now. They've always been honest with us and done a fantastic job fixing our vehicles. They have also worked with us a lot in hard times. I don't see us ever going any where else.

Have always had great prices for the work they do. If it's something real involved I would recommend considering going to the dealership but they have never disappointed me in the past 6 years of repairs and inspection s and two timing belts. I appreciate that they are fair with inspection sticker s and not trying to replace everything they can and upcharge you for everything like other garages I have been to.

Went in for starter solenoid replacement. Paid to have it towed to their location as the vehicle didn't start. Did not get a call confirming it arrived, did not get a call with a diagnosis or quote for parts OR labor. Got a call eventually saying the car was ready to pick up, they replaced the entire starter, and it'd be almost $800. When I got there, I begrudgingly paid it, went to start the car, and the battery was dead. They jumped it, I drove around for a while to recharge the battery. Later that day went to see if it started back up, and no dice. Something they did while doing an unapproved replacement ended up killing the battery which is another $150 to replace.Service: Electrical repair

Great place to take your car if you re looking for honest and straight forward people. They were very helpful in figuring out the problem, and explaining what was going on. I will definitely be taking my car back there when I can t do the work myself.

State inspections. Broken window motor. Spark plug and coil going out. Brake pads and rotors. They've done all these for my vehicles. Good decent people.

I took my car there a few months ago before leaving for vacations, it was good for the first 2 or 3 day, then it started giving me problems about the issue that they were supposed to fix, I try to contact the again, but I couldn t so I left a voicemail, but they didn t contacted me.

I have been a long-time customer of Ray & Randy's from their U-Haul operations to their auto-repair services. I have always been treated extremely fairly, prices are adequate, and the U-Haul service is easy to use. Recommend.
