Great customer service from Allan and Travis! I needed new wipers for my Mazda CX-9 and have had issues in the past finding the correct fitting pair. Both gentlemen were patient and courteous, balancing troubleshooting my issue with helping other customers. They explained the 2-year warranty in detail (great deal, everyone should get it!) and were overall very helpful. This location will be my go-to for auto needs. Thanks, guys!

Helped me take out battery and install new one. Very helpful. Im going back today to get a code pulled. Since I got a good battery installed, the check engine light came back on. So I need to know before I take it for inspection. They do that for free.

Store checks OBD codes.Had first hand acknowledgement from employee that Chevron Techron Plus really works. Had found an online recommendation about the product. Checked inventory to make sure it was in stock. Store carries 12 oz & even 32 oz Value size. Even was able to use my Perks Rewards coupon.4/18/23 update: My truck was low on oil. Received help to fill

Have had some great service lately (3 different trips)from Travis. Travis is Really customer focused and very helpful. Dave was there tonight (7/10/2023) too and helped me pick out some brake lines while Travis was with another customer and we had a question and Travis was quick to assist when we were stuck (even while with the other customer). This is not my first great experience with Travis. I look for him when I need parts and I plan my trips to the store when he is working. I will say I did not have a similar experience with a young guy there last Saturday 7/8/2023 early afternoon (I believe his name was Gavin). Very disrespectful and lacked any motivation at all to help. I hope I never get him again and honestly will avoid him at all cost. Travis is the best I ve worked with hands down!

Nicest guys ever & super kid friendly too. Had no other choice but to bring my sick kiddo with me, to exchange my battery jumper (which they had no issue with) and took a look at my battery, sold and reinstalled a new one. In the process they were super good to my son and I. Even got a lollipop!

I went in looking for a Pacific relay for a Grand Cherokee Unfortunately they didn't have it but did direct me to somebody that may. And they even help me look through the aisles and everything to see if they had something that would work. Very helpful staff.

I went here to buy windshield wipers and it happened to be raining. My current ones were in really bad shape. After making the purchase, I didn't ask to have them installed, but the gentleman I was dealing with went out to my Jeep and installed them on his own. I really appreciate the extra service! All of my future auto parts will be purchased here.

The best autoparts place to shop! Jon the General Manager straight up on point! Kudos to him, Travis, Paul, Michelle, Bill and the rest of the crew! This place has really turned around in such a short amount of time! Cleanest store in the area with the most knowledgeable staff that go the distance and beyond!

Place was busy when i went in. It also seems like i was bothering them with the questions i had. It could of been because it was busy. I never had that experience with them before. I always had a good experience when in that store. I normally give 5 stars but ill go with 3 stars and chalk it up as a busy day..

Jeff and Jason were so incredibly helpful. If you need help go to them! I was visiting from out of state. I needed some work done on my vehicle and was sold over 18 wrong parts between 5 different stores in the Harrisburg area. The original part was making my engine misfire. Luckily it didn t damage my engine. However, it did double the labor taking apart the engine to switch out the parts twice. Sigh plus my gas and time running all over.Jeff took the time to make sure that I had the right part. He caught the error previous stores missed by going the extra step to check the cross reference description. When he did this, Jeff could see that my model of vehicle was not listed in the applicable vehicles. I had to go to another store because they didn t have it. Even with the correct part number I was sold the incorrect part two more times.

Unhelpful staff. I spent 30 minutes in there trying to pick up an order that took my boyfriend 5 minutes to pick up later the SAME DAY. he told me we didn't order it right and that there was none in the store. He walked around helping others and answering phone calls instead of even attempting to look for the parts I was picking up. Furthermore the woman who works there is rude and doesn't know what she's doing. I watched someone ask for air filters and she directed them towards HOSES .

I needed a new battery for an SUV that I was going to sell.The staff was very friendly and laughed at my attempt at jokes.�s this place will install the car battery at no charge, one gentleman came to the car with his tools.The battery clamp was rusted, but he took the time and applied WD40 to work it loose.I appreciate the time and the attitude of the work done.

This staff in this store is amazing, most friendly, hard working, and knowledgeable staff. Would drive out of my way to go to this store. The GM Jon is the real deal and makes sure you the customer is happy as well as everyone else in the store

Excellent customer service! Went to advanced auto because my windshield wiper flew off while I was driving so I needed new ones. I googled my car and bought what I thought was the correct wipers. Went out to try to install them myself when the employee came right over and politely pointed out I bought the wrong wipers. He went in, exchanged my wipers and installed the correct ones for me. Very awesome. Both employees that were working were very polite and helpful

Bought a brand new battery for my daughter's car. Big sign in there says we replace batteries. Come to find out since I have a electrical thing on top of one of the battery post they won't do it. Had to pay a company to come out 15 minutes and charge me $60was not happy with that I sometimes thinks those companies are in cahoots with each other. They get a cut of the pie but that's just my opinion so don't give me a ton of feedback. It's just my opinion and we're all entitled to him

Rude manager. Associate somewhat misleading. I went to Advance to get a replacement battery for my truck. I told the associate I thought the battery was three years old and may be under warranty. I also told him I have had to recharge and jump the battery over four times this summer. He said it was definitely bad. We replaced the battery and found that it was the same battery I had just purchased. When I asked about a warranty for it, he asked for a receipt (good thing I give my phone number for warranties). I found and showed him the receipt. He then said he would need to check with his manager. The manager, in a rude tone, asked why I had not started with a warranty replacement request. He then tested the battery and said it was good and that he would not warranty it. If this location gave a damn about customers, they would have looked into warranty and testing from the beginning and not the confusing mess we went through. I think this manager is lying about the state of the replaced battery. Good batteries do not need to be jumped and recharged this often (as the associate said). Avoid this location!

My car dealership's repair shop wanted $70 for a minor repair. I bought the part myself at Advance Auto Parts for $7, expecting to install it myself, and they installed it for me instead! The experience was fantastic, the staff were helpful, and I obviously saved some money. Can't get much better!

Haven t been at this location in a while but definitely saw improvements since the last time I was in. Staff are willing to help and are very considerate- they helped me find what I needed and was out the door in a jiffy. I ll be coming back

The weird thing is, I've never had a bad experience at this store (#1238) in all its years. I've spent thousands of dollars there over the years.Today I was told to shut up by the counter person because he had a "long day" and if I wanted to do his job for him I should come around the counter or shut up. I was only giving my vehicle info, so it immediately shocked me that he would talk like that to a customer. I asked if he thought it was ok to talk to a customer that way. He said he'd talk however he wants. I did let him and the store know how I felt about him too, because I was furious at that point. He then continued to verbally assault me when I said I'd talk to his manager. He said his manager was right there beside home on the phone, so I told him I'd contact corporate instead.He then followed me to my vehicle continuing to verbally assault me and also pretended to film me with his phone which was getting both scary and excessively bizarre. He told me to never come back to that store again.When he went inside I did call corporate from my car because dammit, I needed a fog light!Corp. was helpful and called the store manager on duty (Calvin), and he apparently saw and heard everything. So, I went back in the store, immediately found Calvin and I then checked out with my stuff.As I left, I wished that DB good luck in his job hunt and depending on the follow up will never shop Advance Auto again. Worst experience in a store in my entire life!Same review left on Yelp. I'm still reeling from this surreal experience. This guy is not helping your brand in any way.

Last time I'll be shopping @ this location. I'm a commercial account holder. Arrogant salesman "couldn't" price match for $12 to Federated right down the street?? Denied my Tax Exemption on top of that. So glad AutoZone is right next door.

Took a dead truck battery in to get replaced which was only 8 months old. Employee said he couldn t test it and I would have to come back after they charged it and he would call me. Never called. 2nd time in another employee said it s not on the charger, give me your name/number and I ll call you. Never called. 3rd time in, we cannot find your battery, give me your name/number and we will call you. NEVER CALLED. Now I have to buy a new battery PLUS pay the core since I don t have the old battery. If all you need is an air freshener this is the place other than that don t waste your time with these idiots

I normally do not leave bad reviews but this place makes me mad every time. I went in last year and employees were rude and did not help me. I ended up putting my stuff down and walked out. Today I went in and again, bad service. I did not know exactly what type or brand oil and filter I needed. He made me feel like I was dumb. I got the number out of the book. He questioned where I got the number from. I got the wrong type of oil. I asked if he could get me the correct kind and he said "now I have to go put this kind back". I told him I would do it. Which as a customer I shouldn't have to do. He did go get my oil for me but after he complained about doing HIS JOB!!! If I wasnt over my miles I would have walked out as I did before. I will not ever go back there. A customer should not feel stupid when asking for help or asking questions. I will keep my business local.
