Jim was excellent to deal with. He gave expertise and options to diagnose and correct my transmission noise. He successfully corrected the noise by doing a partial drain and fill. He also replaced the transmission filter and cleaned the magnets in my transmission. His turnaround was quick and his price was fair. Will highly recommend.

My Chevy Cobalt was having transmission problems, so I Googled mechanics that specialize in tramsmissions. I was blown away to read all of the 5-star reviews that customers of Dynamic Transmission had posted. Word of mouth is very important, so I called the garage in the morning. Jim, the mechanic, took valuable time conversing with me over the phone to find out the transmission problems I was experiencing and the steps we would take to try to correct them. Not only was he able to check my car out the same day, he quickly found the problem, and explained in detail the correct actions to take. Not knowing a lot about fixing cars, I appreciated that he didn't use technical mechanic language when conversing with me. Step by step, he kept me informed of the work he was doing and how much the price would be. My transmission problems were fixed in less than an hour at a reasonable price. It was as if I was driving a brand new car home. Jim went above and beyond in so many ways. After years of being ripped off by mediocre mechanics, it's a blessing to have finally found Jim. Jim at Dynamic Transmission rebuilt the 48RE transmission in my 2007 Dodge Ram 2500 with the 5.9L Cummins diesel. The truck shifts and drives better than ever! He is an experienced expert that quickly earned my trust and did great work on my truck. Jim takes the extra time to do things right and pays careful attention to every detail. He always kept me updated on the project and was (and still is!) more than willing to answer all of my questions. He gave great advice on what upgrades were worthwhile and what I shouldn t waste my money buying. The price was more than fair and I m very pleased with the outcome. Thank you!

I had a very nice experience here! I was having problems with my 2008 Chevrolet Impala for several months and had it taken to others places, who were unable to figure out the problem. Jim was able to find the problem and thoroughly explain it to me and my options (both solution and financial). While I did not end up fixing it, the transmission check was free and would highly recommend Jim!

Jim and Donna are great and my experience with Dynamic Transmission was excellent very informative and professional with timing and cost. Jim does superb work in a timely manner. I have been a customer of his for 5 to 8 years and I continue to give him work and refer everyone who needs transmission or any automotive work done. Great work guys keep it up and thanks again .

Highly Recommend! Spends quality time explaining and showing issues with your vehicle. Honest and upfront with repair costs! I agree with many other reviews here. We are so glad Jim could fix our vehicle after we thought it was a total loss on account of dealer not being able to diagnose the problem. Thanks so much!

Our 2007 Yukon XL needed a new transmission at 130k. The three dealers I called all quoted around $6k to install. Jim installed a remanufactured one for just over half that and it came with the same 100k mile/ 3 year warranty. He was great to work with and very knowledgeable about the cooler requirements for towing. We just finished almost 4K miles of towing to Colorado and back. Glad to report the car ran like new! I would recommend Jim to anyone needing transmission work.

I've been taking my car to Jim for years and have had nothing but great experiences. He is very knowledgeable, always does high-quality work, and goes out of the way to explain the problem clearly and make sure that I am fully satisfied.

First off Jim the owner is a straight shooter !! I've dealt with other repair shops in the area an not only are they over priced they don't no what thier doing ! From the first day I brought my car in for Jim to look at he spent numerous hours with me explaining what's needs to be fix An how he was going to fix it . So I made an appointment with him brought my car in an he did exactly what he said he was going to do great job !!! Highly recommend DYNAMIC TRANSMISSION

We have known Jim and Donna since 1998 and that is the only place where we take our cars. If it is an emergency or just a regular inspection, they don't have problem and let us bring the car. They will tell us how much it will cost ahead, before any work is done to the car. Jim would explain details and give options which way it would be safe and cheaper.So, if you want to experience family friendly business with fair prices and the knowledge that your car will be fine once it leaves the shop, bring it here to Dynamic Transmission.

Truely a master at his craft! There are not enough stars to rate this mechanic and his team!My car is still going strong at 200,600 miles, and it is due in no small part to Jim's expertise!The car I have is my first car .I've had it for over 11 years. After moving from California, it was incredibly difficult to find a mechanic that not only did thorough work, but was also willing to communicate in detail about the work done.After being talked down to at several repair shops in PA, I was espcially impressed at the fact that Jim was not condescending or intimidated by a female that is knowledgeable about her vehicle and basic automotive functioning. The only mechanic I trust with my longest "friend", my car.It will be a sad day when he retires, his knowledge of vehicle repair and willingness to partner with his clients in the maintenance of thier vehicles is beyond outstanding!

I have been in the midst of restoring a 69 Skylark convertible that I drove in high school. I had a slight transmission leak and wanted to get the leak stopped along with a tune up for a car near 50 years old. I must say my expectations were exceeded. There was good communication from the folks there. If parts were needed I received a text message for permission along with the cost. I then requested for a new gas tank and sending unit to be installed. So we now have a new transmission that works great and does not leak along with a new gas tank. All done professionally at a reasonable cost. I do not write reviews but this shop is worth the effort. Thank you to the folks at Dynamic.

Very nice to deal with, explains things so you can understand what he is talking about. A few years ago Jim even drove out to where I was stranded to check out why my truck wouldn't start, it was the battery and we went back and he installed a new one right there, not many people would do that anymore! And just last night I went there pretty much unannounced, and he took care of a small issue I had (too much transmission fluid) and didn't charge me. Definitely going back again.....

This was my second opinion shop and I'm glad I did. Needed a new transmission and Dynamic came in way lower then the first. Jim also took the time to explain, in detail, the issues with the transmission. Something the first shop didn't/couldn't do. Needing to replace your transmission is not fun, but Dynamic made it an experience a little easier to swallow. Thanks for your help!

So I called on a Saturday and left a voicemail and received a return call on the following Monday. Talked about my concern and he gave a price for the work they going to do. He was also gonna get a quote for a recondition trans, and was supposed to follow up with a price and set up an appointment for me to bring in my truck. After a few days of no call back, I called Ford and took my truck there. Still have not received a call even after 2 weeks. I was disappointed, with all the 5 star reviews I thought I would be bringing my truck there. Cannot comment on work, since I never brought truck in

Our daughter's car died due to a bad starter while the car was down at school. jim and the crew came to the rescue. He told us to have it towed to the shop and he would turn it around for her the next day, which he did, so she could get back to her work and school routine w/o interruption. Jim is fast, honest, and expert at pinpointing the problem and fixing what is necessary. You always know where you stand with Dynamic...no surprise costs or parts. Only shop we trust with all our vehicles, new and old! Thanks Jim!

Jims a great guy and even better mechanic. Smart with vehicles in all matters not just transmissions. Honest, explained all the work, parts and labor before work was performed. No huge suprise bills and kept in good contact with me the enitire time. Good shop.

I had a very pleasant experience. Jim and his staff made time to do my PA inspection and emissions with out an appointment and were very courteous and helpful. His wife, who manages the office, was very professional and well organized.

Where do I start with my experience with Dynamic Transmission? I guess I'll start with explaining that I inherited my 1999 Chevy Tahoe (that I have grown to love) from my Uncle because he couldn't find anyone willing to buy it off of him.For me, this has been a blessing and a curse. A curse because there were a long list of obvious reasons that nobody wanted to buy this old tank from my Uncle; a blessing because Jim and Donna at Dynamic Transmission have been with me every step of the way when it comes to keeping this beast on the road and safe. From minor issues like fuel filter replacement to major ones like replacing my catalytic converter, Jim and Donna have not only kept me informed on all of my options as far as pricing and quality are concerned, they also managed to find someone willing to buy the truck if that was an avenue that I wanted to pursue.I have never been remotely car literate but at Dynamic Transmission, I feel as though I have a thorough understanding of what is wrong with my vehicle, why it went wrong in the first place, and what needs to be done to fix the problem. I'm also very appreciative of the fact that their pricing breakdowns leave no room for surprises.I will definitely be recommending Dynamic Transmission to everyone I know and I will never take my vehicle to anyone but Jim unless it's by his own recommendation.

My daughter took her vehicle to be fixed and she has been very satisfied with the work. I am driving the vehicle and it has been super smooth. I recommend them. The price is fair.

I have been on the road for nearly 30 years and 20 of them I have been going to Jim. If you want honesty, he the mechanic for you. Hes there for not only your car he is there for you and your familys safety.

Straightforward & Fair. Great experience getting my clutch replaced. Called, and ran through all charges after looking at everything. Done in 3 days, and the bill matched the estimate without surprises.

Jim does great work,had 2 other places look at my car and couldn't fix it.he not only fixed it but it works better than ever.he answered all my questions and gave me feedback on why the problem happen.i would recommend dynamic to fix anyone's car

Jim at Dynamic is the best. My Girlfriends BMW X3 was acting up when turning. It was as simple as a Fluid change the BMW Dealer wanted so much more to repair it.

The shop owner knows more than anybody i know in my life on transmissions and is very easy to work with and won't let anything leave until it is fixed the first time no going back again to have the same issue ever again and is really quick and done right to oem specs like as if i took it to a dealer but paid half the cost !!!!
