I live in Indiana, but my daughter goes to Lafayette College, so when she had to have the starter replaced in her car, I had to find a place in Easton that would help her out quickly so that she wasn't without transportation for very long. D&T were very helpful, as they able to have the car towed to the shop an hour after I called them, and had the car fixed and back with my daughter in less than 24 hours. Very pleased with the speed of the service!

living in Easton since 2020, one car, found so many mechanic options, but my husband was drawn to D&T because of their prompt service & honesty. All my questions answered, for someone like myself who knows nothing of cars, Tom assured us that whatever was needed for my camry would be taken care of. He explained to me what the crazy maintenance alert was for haha. No appt for inspection and my car was squeezed in on a Friday, you hear me, A FRIDAY. That says a lot. He s so patient, hence I scheduled for my car to get remote/auto start, but rescheduled and then cancelled for my 2nd car, but he did his part, ordering the parts, even if I didn t have it done, because life happens, but was not scolded. My husband is overall satisfied with you guys, I ve even tried going the cheaper route but he refused to take his money else where. People everyone s experience is different but a great business owner never puts his customers and workers integrity through the fire, so if something didn t go as expected or review seems sketchy, do not assume it was something on Toms part, just go and check it out for your self. His work speaks for it self.

Dt automotive,LLc1458 Northampton street Easton pa 18042 for the first time ,I walk into this place with a rear window shattered.I needed a new glass to be replaced,they made a huge mistake taking out my front window shield and replaced.Than say it was cracked they Lia.than to tell me,the owner he will replace my rear window him self.his wife liar don t trust her,I ask her to come to see,which rear window is shattered,she said it s ok.I financed my rear glass window.she took my trust,the lord stand on the throne,that s not professional dealing with the community,there is a lot to say, you will lose a lot of business,why because you re know this is the truth and making it look like it s not shame on you.

They replaced my transmission that came with a warranty. Second transmission broke and they won't fix it. It's a white work van. You can drive by and see it. Promise to fix it every time I go there. It's been sitting in CVS parking lot for years. Filing a complaint with State's Attorneys Office. DO NOT GO THERE. They are dishonest crooks.

I started going to D & T when I moved to West Ward in January 2022 just because it was close by, but now I've moved again and still bring my car here. Tommy always does a great job.... quality work, fair prices, and he never recommends work you don't actually need. In fact, he's talked me out of unnecessary work that I thought I needed. I recommend D & T to all my friends looking for a great mechanic in Easton.

Worst experience ever. I broughtmy vehicle for tire installation. And ended up with a light on on my dashboard, and a missing tire sensor. Now I have to pay $303 dollars to get a new sensor and reprogram it.

Well I m pretty upset I called to get my card back and they are refusing to give it back. The lady took a picture of my account information and now I have charges on my card and they blocked my phone number police will be there shortly.

Tommy and Gina are super nice, fair pricing, not going to make up fake repairs, will fix only what you want fixed. If they don't get it right the first time, they'll make it right. No gouging!

Proprietors, Tom and Jina (they are husband and wife), run an excellent automotive service center. Both are super knowledgeable and customer focused. I had an amazing experience getting my car fix at this business. Jina help get my car towed from the near by college to the shop and got my car fixed all in a day. They refilled my oil and changed my alternator. Highly recommend

Tom & Gina are wonderful! They provided honest, quality service. Tom didn't push me to do my repairs with him, but was straight with what my car issues were and offered a labor discount without me asking for one. He finished my car QUICKLY, taking into consideration my transportation needs. I will definitely go back to D&T for future car service/repairs.

to give a little insight, my experience was so bad that i m writing my very first google review. please do not take your car here. i just moved to Easton and was looking for a mechanic. i figured this place had great reviews so i would take it here. i dropped it off thursday night for a friday appointment. i needed an inspection and oil change. i call friday before closing, and they didn t even get to my car. i was assured it would be looked at first thing in the morning. i call saturday, about an hour and a half after they open, still nobody looked at my car. i told them to not bother and that i would just get my car and take it somewhere else as i had an appointment. i was once again assured, it would be done in time. i m not one to rush or be a pain as i ve worked with the public for years, but it seemed a little ridiculous to me. against my better judgement, i agreed. it was not done in time and i had to uber somewhere. i got to pickup my car today and i was given a discount for the uber i had to pay for and i was going to let it go. until i get into my car and find they never did an oil change. only 10% oil life, as my car alerts when you start it, the main reason i needed it done, was not completed. i have never been so upset with a business in my life. so please, do not take your cars here.

I had a great experience here. I was having all sorts of problems with my truck which eventually resulted in a complete engine failure. They were able to find a used engine with relatively low mileage. Install went well and they took care of a few other problems all covered under their one year warranty. Six months later and it's running fine even after a cross country trip. Prices were affordable and the service was great.

I have been doing business with D&T automotive for over 2 years now.Tom is a gentleman and a true professional. I own four vehicle and he has been servicing all them. Very Fair with the pricing and excellent work. A Great asset to the community!

Worse customer service ever. They are very unprofessional and rude. They didn't know what was the matter with my car when it was overheating so I took it somewhere else and the new mechanic immediately fixed it but found my car a mess because of these people. They did all sorts of non sense to my car such as repeatedly draining the radiator and they tried replacing the thermostat and the engine was a huge mess. Turned out it just needed a new water pump and it was leaking huge amounts of water. The new mechanic I brought it to was shocked they didn't spot it since it was as clear as day. These people do not know how to properly fix vehicles. They were either not paying attention in school or they don't care. They are just in it for the money and they are incredibly unprofessional and rude. I'm surprised they stay in business with this kind of unprofessional behavior. The staff needs to learn how to conduct business in a professional, friendly manner. They will literally scream at you uncontrollably and call you names etc. They need a head evaluation and to take their medicine. They will charge you when they messed up your car, not fixed it. Positive reviews for this business are fake and written by family and friends. I would never take any of my vehicles to this garage again if it was the last repair shop on earth. I will warn all my family and friends to stay away from this joke of a car repair shop too.

I've received nothing less than the best possible service and treatment from D&T over the course of several visits.First, brakes were done in a timely and professional manner (no problems, best price).Second, heat shields (Tommy informed me that there are multiple heat shields on my Subaru) were dealt with so I no longer had to tolerate that rattling sound.Third, My Infiniti had rust spots on the roof (area: front windshield to beginning of moon roof), D&T (Tommy) handled this problem effectively and efficiently (not to mention the great price). The work done was so good even my normally hard to please wife said, " That's some darn good work right there," as she pointed to the area where the work was done.PS - On one of the jobs, I was so very pleased with the work and treatment I was given that I offered the mechanic doing the work a tip; he declined my tip saying, "No thanks, I just did my job and fixed the problem. That's what I do."Based on these factors, I will continue my affiliation with D&T into the future; and I highly recommend them to all who inquire about needing automotive work done.------------------9/17/20It's amazing how quickly satisfaction can go to dissatisfaction. I no longer recommend this place for the following reasons: I had to cancel two appointments due to emergencies (it's not like an appointment for surgery or something like that, since no one in the shop will be waiting for me, the business of repairs will go on). So the next time I was scheduled to drop off my car Tommy cancelled me from doing so. It felt like he may have been feeling some sort of way that he felt he had to "pay me back." The next incident was when my car wouldn't start right across the street from his shop. I came in and asked him for a boost. He told me both of his chargers were OOC and I'd have to come back in the morning. Unbelievable. He could have given me a boost even if it was from his own vehicle. This felt personal. A few days ago I called and left a message for him about my Infiniti needing a "lock actuator." He didn't return my call. When a business owner refuses to return calls of a customer, it's time to move on. Today was my last incident. I called and asked to speak with Tom. Receptionist said he was busy and that she would take a message. I began to explain my situation to her. She suggested I bring the car in. I informed her that I would need to speak to Tom first to make sure he could do the work necessary. After a few more third degree questions, I said goodbye. They can't be depended on. The receptionist cuts off a lot of business. Tom doesn't return calls, so he must not need any new customers or have a desire to keep the ones he has, namely, me. I am done with D&T.

Best price in auto service. Tom and his staff honest and experienced mechanics. Get more then fair deal. You get true honesty at very fair cost. No surprises. If you dont need to replace it yet. They let you know, and if you need to replace a part, Tom find and get you best deal. No suprises.Bill K

Tom and Jina did a great job and very honest. WOW... My Prius 2009 is totally different than before after tom recommended me to replace control arms including ball joints. Tom even drove test with me after replacing those. Great service guys!!! I don t hear any noise after tom fix it with reasonable price.

Tom and Jina are two of the best people on the planet, going way above and beyond what I would call customer service. My daughters were 2 hours into their 14 hour drive home from school when their car broke down. We couldn't get hold of anyone in Easton on a Sunday morning, but D&T's number forwarded to Tom's cel and he was incredibly responsive in our time of need. Not only that, he quickly assessed the situation, communicated the problem, and fixed our car immediately for a very fair price. He kept the car at his house until my daughter could get back after Christmas break and even offered dinner to her and her boyfriend when they came back to pick the car up. I am blown away by D&T's service and compassion and hope I can thank them in person one day.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Tom and Jina D&T Automotive Have been servicing my vehicle for just about a year now I was very lucky to find a mechanic in Easton that provides the fantastic services that they do provide..I own a rare vehicle that was only made for a few years and I usually have my vehicle maintained at a Ford dealership. For years I have been paying top dollar and extra maintenance fees not necessary for the convenience of using a dealership for my repairs.Recently I took my vehicle in for a very serious repair that most shops would not attempt D&T automotive was happy to help me with my vehicle and successfully fixed the problem..it would have cost me much more somewhere else.I want to express a very special thank you to D&T automotive in Easton PA for wonderful hard work being fair honest and more than reasonable ..Services: Electrical repair, Tires, Steering & suspension repair, General repairs & maintenance, Electrical, Engine repair, Wheel alignment, Brakes, Oil change

I have been dealing with Tommy longbefore he had his own shop. I have five carsall of which he has kept running for many years. My 2003 Ford Explorer has over 250,000miles on it that I attribute to him servicing it.Him and Jina always make you feel welcome attheir shop. They always try to make you feel like a part of their family. I m also proud to take my vehicles to a shop that honors our war veterans with a discount. Keep up the great work Tom and Jina

I work on cars myself as a hobby, and I m always skeptical about going to a mechanic. Like the same way as a handy man hiring a contractor, working on a handyman s house. But, I needed a new transmission, and it was under warranty. Since I saw all these good reviews and the bad ones and when the bad ones had detailed responses of what has happened, then it was looking to me that this s a genuine family ran business that s out to help the community, not rip it off. I brought my van in to get my transmission fixed (it wasn t till later that it was I needed a new one, because when it comes to CVT tyranny s, they re pretty much designed to not to be repaired.) So I bring it in and I told TOM that I ll begone for a maximum of 3 weeks, and gave home all the information of my warranty, and he told me it was no problem. I got a call about a week later, telling me that my warranty company was going to give him a used transmission, and turned it around to having them give me a brand new one! When I got back, not only did he give me a new transmission, he was test driving it almost everyday, to make sure that the transmission was good, and there was no issues whatsoever. This s what I call going above and beyond customer service. I know this review is long, but I wanted to go in detail, and actually show potential and actual customers of D and T, this shop is a legitimate shop! The mechanics their are professional and sincere, and if they cannot answer a question, the inform the customer you ll have to ask TOM that question. Not because the mechanic (s) do not know what their talking about, it s because if the question requires a(n) owner and/or management answer, they do not want to give you the wrong answer. I will and will always continue to go to this shop for all needs, that I cannot do myself. Tom and his wife, I apologize I do not know her name, are very professional and nice. If I could give 100 stars I would!
