Exceptional - start to finish. I was constantly kept up to date on the status of the work, and my car was done ahead of schedule, and returned to me 'like new'. I can't imagine a more efficient and professionally run business!

I told them about their mistakes before I receive it. Waiting at least 2 weeks was ok ,two weeks turned into two months , it s fact they said 7kestimate than changed into 11k, ridiculous. Very bad service.

Please don't pay Carstar or let your insurance company pay before you have approved the repair work. Carstar replaced my headlights with a thrashed used model and caked my front bumpers paint so much that it will never fit into it s plastic attachment points again. The overall paint work repair on my GTI is orange peel. I already payed out of pocket for a headlight that wasn t fished from a dumpster and about to drop another couple thousand on a new bumper that actually fits the body. Fred Beans VW has been very helpful and has given me parts at cost but aren t connected enough under Fred Beans to make Carstars botch job right.EDIT:someone replying on google reviews asked me to call and hopefully resolve this issue. The # that I was asked to call was the same office that has had plenty of chances to fix the botch job. they got close but VW of Doylestown is still fixing what Carstar couldn t and i ll be paying out of pocket. Send me Mr.Beans # next time please.Service: Body & Trim

Phenomenal. Amazing.I have referred people to CARSTAR since being a customer..What an amazing team of people. They have so much self respect and respect for each other and it shows in how well they work and how they treat their customers. Such a rare, almost extinct experience Good or even average customer service however, at CARSTAR, they are just incredible.Respect to the team. I was involved in a fender bender in early February, 2024. After contacting Carstar to start the process of having our Nissan Pathfinder repaired, it was smooth sailing. They kept me up to date with every step and sent updated texts every day on the status of my car. Once I got it back it looked as if it was NEVER in an accident. They even washed the outside of the car and shined the tires up for me before I picked it up! Highly recommend!

Very slow. 2 months on a front corner. They told us shorter time. No frame damage. Poor interface with insurance. Too many useless texts. No ownership on the project. Body work and repairs very good.

I can t say enough about the service I received for my car after it was hit in a local parking lot. Not only did they repair the two areas that were damaged, they took the time to care for my car, and cleaned the inside as well as the outside. I can t tell where the damage was and we are so pleased with the results and color match.Thank you to Paul O. and how much he cared, kept us updated and his team, that did a top-notch job and repair. We recently had some roof damage to our Subaru Ascent. The repair was a little extensive due to the electronics etc over the inside roof liner. The crew at Fred Beans Car Star was very professional in every aspect if the process. The kept us informed of the progress of the repair. The end result was amazing. Christine, Michelle and Jim made the entire process of getting my car repaired so easy! The customer service, communication, quality of work, simply everything, was so awesome. Getting in an accident sucked (ESPECIALLY since I only had the car for a month, brand new!), but CARSTAR Fred Beans Doylestown made it suck so much less. Thank you for everything, guys!

Carstar repaired this vehicle after a 2 solid month wait. I was told they would only use a refurbished mirror/ not new for replacement. Well I guess that DID NOT SEEM TO BE A GOOD BUISNESS DECISSION. Did I mention we bought the car at BEANS ALSO? Oh, driving without having the passenger mirror AGAIN is such a joy! Hope we get it done by Halloween... Edited 19July2023Thank you for taking care of this for my Wife on Monday the 17th. I am pleased that you stood up to your work and punctually took care of something that had been a hazzard for months while waiting for an appointment. Thank you again.08August2023The mirror you repaired o 19July2023that you installed failed again. Popped out of the housing again. I hope you fixing it tomorrow will last this time. Difficult driving w one mirror. The OEM mirror worked fine till my Wife had damage on that side of the vehicle. I would expect the replacement would be as robust as the one on the car when we bought it from a Fred Beans dealership.

Bad experience. They couldn t give me a final estimate for some reason. Kept getting excuses and they never kept me informed. After almost 3 weeks, I had to pull the car and have it towed to another collision center. I would never use them again.

Fred Beans CARSTAR was an amazing experience for me! It was my first accident so I didn t exactly know how to manage everything. Tom and Christine were more than helpful in explaining the process. I will definitely recommend CARSTAR in the future.

Jim Toth - handled everything in the way it supposed to.There was little challanging in the process between Carstar and my Insurance.I think there could be e better service from both sides from Carstar and from my Insurance.What I did not like was if you pay with credit card they charge you 3% fee.Carstar should definetely bring this up to their customer in the beginning of the process and not in the end.

Anyone who needs bodywork on their vehicle-pick this place. They are a well oiled machine-from start to finish!Was told what time to bring it in for an estimate.After that everything was handled for me! Dropped it off and was met by the rental company-who were wonderful as well. Received daily reports on where they were at with my car,as did my insurance company. Was told when to pick up my finished car- they called rental company to pick up my rental as well!The work they did , the estimator Tom, the women at the front desk-they are so nice and know what they are doing! My car is immaculate, the work is warrantied as well! Thank you Carstar for a job done well-really appreciate all you did!

I hit a deer and needed front end work done. They did an excellent job with the repair and detailing of my car.These things take time and patience is needed. It did take about a week before I received the first text about when the work would be completed. And my car was actually finished 5 days before the original estimate. The folks here are pleasant and easy to work with.

Very good work paint matches perfect. The ladies at the front desk are very nice and professional. Consider yourself lucky if you get taken care of by Jim, both times I ve had my car in for service. He has done a great job, keeping me informed and taking care of my vehicle in a timely manner. Calls or emails about the cars status consistently. My car had a mangled a pillar and I did not think it would be possible to fix it to the point where it was pre accident condition. Well I was wrong for sure. I was very pleased with the service I received at CARSTAR Fred Beans. The staff was very nice and helpful, made the whole process of getting my car fixed very easy for me, and kept me up-to-date throughout the whole process. My car was fixed to my satisfaction and I will be back for any future repairs I may need done.

Definitely check the fine details on the paperwork. For our car, they charged for a trim pieces that we provided in the car (it was fine - clips all intact), charged for a rim and tire that we had already replaced elsewhere due to the long wait to get into the repair shop. So either the brand new rim and brand new tire were trashed and replaced or they tried to charge us a second time for work that wasn't completed. They also tried to charge us the deductible a second time after we already satisfied it. We alerted our insurance company. Last, beware - they charge 3% on all credit card transactions and the insurance company doesn't reimburse that cost.Service: Body & Trim

Did decent work. But had car for 32 days. Manager told me the extra 2 days that insurance would not pay for, he would have Fred Beans or Progressive Insurance pay. He left a voice mail stating this. It was never paid by them and this manager won't even call me to say he made a mistake
