Devin was great with helping me purchase my car. They worked within my budget as much as they could and got me my dream car. They worked with me on payment methods because I forgot my checkbook at home. Manager Mel was also great, she met me the day after to pick up the check and both were there to answer any question I had following my purchase.

In all my years of buying cars, this will be one of the most memorable experiences we have had. The dealership was incredibly friendly to work with and not the least bit combative during the deal and really made the process stress-free. Joanne, Vincent and Dave made us loyal customers for life.

I really wished I could give these guys a zero-star rating because that s what they deserve. Colonial Hyundai deals are a scam, and con artists are running them. They re just looking to take your money. Do not go here. I called them hoping to get their deal of $6500 off when doing a trade-in of any car in any condition.When I spoke to Zach in sales, I asked him if the deal was off the sticker price, and he said yes. I was ready to go up there and make a deal with them. I asked him if he could send me the numbers for everything so I could figure out price-wise before going up. When he did send me the price for the car, they added about 6500 dollars on the car I wanted and claimed that it was the dealer sticker price. So, I wasn t getting any type of deal for the car I wanted. The trade-in deal and the dealer sticker price would cancel each other out, and I would still have to pay for the original sticker price displayed on the Hyundai website.

Total scam artists. I was shopping for a white Hyundai Sonata and contacted Colonial Hyundai as their website indicated that they had one in the interior and exterior colors I was looking for. Greg the sales manager replied.During a phone conversation, I let Greg know that a local to me dealership offered me the car in a color combination I was not interested in at a certain price. Greg told me that he could match that, and we made an appointment the next day to purchase the car.After both my wife and I taking a day off work and driving 2.5 hours to Colonial Hyundai, on my way I received a text from Greg indicating that he could not make our appointment but that someone else would handle it. I arrived and the car was a different color combination than we agreed to and I asked the substitute associate to speak to a manager. Some other sales manager told me that they had the car incorrectly listed and apologized and said that he could get me the car that was promised from one of their other dealerships.Then Greg arrived and I was told to go do the paperwork with Greg to finalize things. Greg then told me that the car would be thousands more than what was promised, and asked me if I came to buy a car or argue about price. He asked me what I did for a living and then told me that he was sure I made plenty of money and shouldn t be complaining about a few bands .My wife and I left empty handed, lost time off work, and made a 5 hour round trip because of these scam artists. I complained to the company and the owner called me to apologize and said he d reach back out to me, but he never has.Beware this dealership and don t trust anything that is said to you. Go someone more trustworthy.

My wife and I went to Colonial Hyundai in Downingtown for the first time to look at an Ioniq 5 after visiting Conicelli the week before for a second look and to compare pricing. Conicelli which is in our backyard is now batting 0 for 4 as they never seem to be competitive, yet each time they tell us they are fixing that.My wife was also interested in the Volkswagen ID4 and we had planned a visit there next, but this team was so humble, honest and truly interested in making us a deal that we never went to Volkswagen. Please ask for the manager Dave Smith if you are interested in a Hyundai and he will treat you with the same respect and make your purchase a Happy experience. Dave has been in the business fir many years. Tell him Steve and Lisa Klein referred you.He offered us substantially more for our trade than the other dealer, lowered the lease price, threw in a few items, knocked the list price down and then the 1 reasonable ask I made for an even lower monthly lease price was granted without hesitation. They have a business to run and are entitled to make a fair profit which was my intention and so everyone came out a winner. It was a very straight forward, enjoyable and easy process. No constant haggling back and forth, no false promises, deceit, or spending hours on negotiating. Instead we spent our time on a test drive, filling out paperwork and teaching my wife how to use the new electric car which my wife loves. Make Dave your first stop, he will truly earn your business and you too will be a truly satisfied customer.

I just had a great experience at colonial Hyundai. John the owner and Christina were super helpful. John gave me a great deal on my trade in which I desperately needed as I still owed money on it and the engine was dead. I bought a 2024 Tucson and absolutely love it!! Christina spent a lot of time bc with me to show me how all the digital stuff worked. Love my heated seats and auto start from my phone!!!I live in Downingtown and highly recommend Colonial Hyundai!!Jennifer

After such a negative experience with a certain dealership, I am so happy to have had such an AMAZING experience and time at Colonial Hyundai Of Downingtown . Glad I switched from another brand to Hyundai. The staff there is just beyond wonderful and it felt like I was just hanging around with friends and just so happen to be getting a car at the same time. Kudos to Colonial Hyundai Of Downingtown for being exceptional! You've restored my faith in dealerships. Special shout out to Alex for helping us buy two cars in the last few weeks!

Bought my car from Colonial Hyundayi last month. I want to thank Hope Ely for her customer focused approach to guide me through the process of finalizing the car deal in a single day. Also, Dave who helped me get the best price for my car by shaving off the markup price. My advice to buyers: do your own research about a vehicle so that you can communicate your needs with these guys to get the best deal.

*** update below ***I absolutely love the Hyundai brand. I love it so much that we purchased a top-of-the-line Hyundai Tucson Limited. During its first service visit, I discussed getting a tow hitch. The service person I will just call K found a really good price for me. I said yes I wanted it and how long would it take? She said a week I called almost 10 days later and she has said to me oh, do you want to order that?Whaaaaat?The dealership is crammed: you cannot get to the charging stations. It also look shabby and dirty. The people they re really nice - just don t expect them to do what they say they re going to do.*** UPDATE *** 1/17/24I have since discovered that my experience was a one off. The tow hitch purchase and installation was in every way an amazing experience. They helped me out in more ways possible than I could have imagined. After the review I had a phone call from the owner. He explained the reasons that the dealership cramming and appearance that also appears in the response to this review.I have a local dealership near me but Colonial Hyundai is worth the drive! Now 5 stars in my book!

Do not take your car here for service. I took my 2023 Palisade in twice. The first time for oil change and tire leak. Oil change was done, was told tire leak was loose valve and it was fixed. Tire continued to lose air but I was fine adding air here and there. Took in for next oil change and asked about tire leak again. This time they told me it was a screw and I needed a new tire quoting me $620 for one new tire. I said no thanks, my car is less than 7 months old I ll just put air in it. Meanwhile bring my car home and after a while noticed my car was leaking something, thought it was just condensation from air conditioner. End up noticing it s leaving stains on my driveway and in my garage, so must be a leak. Decide to take it to another Hyundai dealership. Checked the oil leak and was told the crush washer was never replaced at my last oil change. Also had them check the leak in my tire again. They told me it was very small un patchable leak on the outside of the tire but quoted me $330 for a new tire. I opted just to continue to put air in myself but why was the tire half the price when both are Hyundai dealerships. I ll be traveling the extra 20 minutes out to avoid this dealership for service.

Blue collar dealer ripping off the unwashed and uneducated, working class in PA. Thug like management. Every deal is overpriced. I used to work there, so I know. A warning to simply not go there, Try Fred Beans. They're at least halfway legit.

I came to Colonial Hyundai because another dealership damaged my vehicle. The service staff here have hearts of gold and will go above and beyond to help customers. I have had such a wonderful experience interacting with the service team: Katie, Jo , Donna, Ashley have been extremely polite and accommodating to me. The service manager Mark Kay also moved mountains to help me during a difficult time with my car and worked with me to get a loaner vehicle in a timely manner. Despite not buying a car the sales team is also amazing and truly care about their customers. In sales Wesley, Anthony and Chad are amazing. If you are interested in getting a good deal reach out to either. Colonial Hyundai truly cares for its customers. They have won a loyal customer.

We were looking for a specific model and trim that was hard to find (Elantra GT Sport 6MT). Jessica Dean was helpful at sourcing and notified us of their inventory prior to visiting the dealer per my request.Once confirmed, she scheduled us for an appointment and introduced us to our sales rep upon arrival.Our sales rep Lou was down to earth guy and great to deal with, he gave us a good tour of the car, a long test drive for both my wife and I and overall made things easy. Both Lou and Vince honored the advertised incentives and although we had our own private financing, we were still treated like a valued customer.Rob from financing was also able to meet our budget for an extended warranty (from an already excellent one!).The only negative is they don't accept a credit card down payment over 2k without getting charged extra fee's. Our plan was to put 5k down on a single card (take advantage of reward points) but had to use a debit for the balance. Had I known this would be an issue, we would of just brought cash to make things easier.Other than that, AMAZING experience, Colonial has a large inventory and their staff are some of the best in the industry.PS. We went out of our way to shop here, over 2 hours away in New Jersey! Although out of the way, will definitely consider them again in the future again.

Do not waste your time dealing with these people. Their vehicles are listed low and by the time they add all of their hidden uncalled for fees you ll be paying over price for the vehicle. I thought we were coming out of the dark ages with snake oil dealerships . Guess not!

This was an amazing experience... from Anthony in Sales, to Vinny in Finance, to Chris, the Sales Manager (oh, and the lady in the Service Dept... sorry, I forgot your name - it was a crazy night!). I hadn't even planned on purchasing a new vehicle. My current vehicle "died" there Wednesday night and they let me keep it on the property until my husband could tow it the following day. I thought... why not take a peek at cars while I'm here? Anthony showed me some awesome vehicles and Chris printed out some price sheets for me to take home to share with my husband... no pressure...I didn't feel like they were trying to get me to commit, they were just kind and very helpful. My husband returned the next day and decided to surprise me with a new vehicle in the showroom, which wasn't even one of the vehicles that I looked at! We went to pick up my Hyundai Santa Cruz and I am pleased beyond words. The vehicle was detailed, filled with gas and all ready for me. Anthony took his time going over all the "bells & whistles" to make sure I knew where everything was because it was already dark by then and I was driving home to Denver, PA. This is my first new vehicle purchase in many, many years and I would highly recommend this dealership! Colonial Hyundai... you have customers for life!

Bought my vehicle there a couple years ago so I am still under warranty. I like it, tech has some glitches but I can live with that. Their service department is terrible. Very short staffed, have witnessed some rude interactions. I have an appt to bring it there for the 4th time for the same problem sound that they cannot figure out. Will not be purchasing another Hyundai in the future.

The team at Colonial go above and beyond (especially Tammy!) I purchased a new car yesterday and everything was faster and easier than expected. I drove an hour out of my way to go to Colonial and it was worth every minute. Even after the sale, Tammy sat with me for at least 45 minutes to review all the features of the car.

I never leave reviews, however, I feel I have to so others do not have to go through what I went through. The service manager left me a voicemail telling me that he is friends with the owner and treats all customers the same. Therefore, everyone can expect the same unprofessional experience I had. Do yourself a favor and go to the Hyundai in West Chester and avoid here at all costs.

rip-off. False advertising. False pricing. Dishonest and deceitful. Bogus fees. Flat out lies. Go somewhere else. Read the Google reviews. You will see they are dirty. You will want to stay far away. they advertised a car I wanted to get for my son who just started driving. on Facebook it was listed for $1990. After testing the car and all we decided we wanted it. My wife and son were with me. they came back with a price of $4080. That is more than double the price. They said they had a hidden additional price of 990 that was added besides taxes and tags. I said no. They said you can take it or leave it someone else is ready to buy the car right now. They sold it. I said no. Before I left I asked for information. The GM David Smith said he would help me out he had a trade in on a newer car. He said more than once he would sell it to me for 2500 out the door. I said I would consider it. I had him put it in writing before I left along with the car fax and vehicle Vin. he calls me and tells me it is ready. So after I'm on my way he sends me text trying to up the price. I get there and look it over and decide ok I'll take it at the agreed upon price. they come back with a total of $3947. I said that isn't what was agreed upon. The price was 2850 + 598 transportation delivery fee. I said no. and called Dave they refused to honor the price of 2500 or remove the bogus fee of 598 They are not people you should deal with. they don't do what is right.

I have purchased over 5 cars from this dealership. The last 4 were with Lou Ziegler. Lou is one of the greatest salesman I ve worked with. I love upgrading my car to the newest and greatest and Lou always has what I want, or gets in stock what I m looking for. Lease or purchase, I always walk away happy! The whole process is painless, and a great group of people that walk you through everything. The service department is great, always helpful and quick! While buying a car can be stressful, I know I m in good hands with Lou and the team at Colonial Hyundai!

The team at Hyundai Colonial were nothing short of spectacular. The services provided were stellar and we appreciate the team working with us and ensuring we have a safe vehicle for our family.We are currently under contract to purchase a house, which can cause issues when you need to buy a car. Our car was recently totalled in a accident which caused some urgency to purchase a vehicle. Thankfully, we were able to tell the team what our payments need to look like so that we do not run into any issues. They did not try to up sell but instead ensured our payments will be where we needed them to be. Tammy Zegac was professional and friendly. She made sure we were comfortable throughout the entire purchase and handled any additional details that came after the fact (we had to return a rental car, but she took care of it for us). Next time we need a vehicle, Hyundai Colonial will be our first stop.

Went to Colonial today to have my recalls fixed and a much needed oil change. I was greeted by someone who immediately took my keys and told me Ashley was going to assist me today. Ashley immediately sent me a text and said if I have any question to text her back or call the number listed in the text message. She came over to me, introduced herself and gave me a much reliable timeline. She gave me her recommendations after completing the work I was originally in for. I immediately agreed to one of the recommendations because I had noticed the issue recently. I didn't feel pressure to complete the other recommendation today however, she left me with the explanation and a price. I highly recommend this dealership. I didn't feel pressured or taken advantage of. Great Experience

I felt very welcomed when I went into this particular location, we had a few laughs before looking at cars! But I just wanted to thank my salesman Anthony again! Anthony did everything he could to get me into the car I had my eyes on. I originally went in to trade my Hyundai Sonata for a newer one but the new 2022 Hyundai Elantra is what I purchased! He also made me feel comfortable, not your typical pushy salesperson! He was very patient with me && the many questions I had . I ve had my car a little over a week now and I m in love! Thanks to everyone that helped that day appreciate y all!
