I have worked with Nate several times over the years. He is always courteous and very professional. The quality of the work that his team provides is consistently outstanding. He follows through on the project and always delivers on time.

Great fast service. I called to be assisted with a car lock out and I was in my car within 60 seconds after he arrived and viewed my ID and signature in all it was a 5 minute process if that! Saleem is who assisted me!

AVOID AVOID - Awful experience. Had a ratting noise from front left tire so took it in. They "inspected" the vehicle and "they weren't really sure" but i definitely needed a new transmission and they don't do it. None of my symptoms matched up with what they said was the issue. They then charged me $250 to "not" diagnose or fix anything or even give me correct information. Took it to the dealership.....guess what... was nothing of what they said. They were 100% wrong in what they "thought" was the problem and could have actually fixed it there. Then they lost my paperwork and I had to wait and wait...then they started giving me attitude when I questioned them..... I will not be back....

Very smooth and efficient, they take care of things for you! I have had a AAA card for many years.. this is the more recent experience. Friendly tow truck guy, was in the Chester Springs area and arrived quick, it was freezing temperatures, so he offered to have me sit in his truck while I waited. Back at the shop quote was quick and service excellent! I am a Realtor and in my car around Downigntown a lot.. will always have the AAA card on me.

Nate and Anthony were terrific in their quest to diagnose and repair my 1994 Mustang GT. My car had an occasional starting problem that over the course of a year escalated to where the car bucked violently and stalled leaving me stranded, but after it was towed (thanks again, AAA) it would not repeat the problem. Luckily, the tow took me to this facility. Nate and Anthony and I dug into every online source available to us to try and diagnose the problem. Even though we all guessed wrong that it was the fuel pump (so I have a new fuel pump for my beautiful antique), the next educated guess was "spot on". After they replaced the distributor, I haven't had any recurrences and my car is running strong. This all started going into the 4th of July weekend and lasted for a couple weeks after. Nate and Anthony would put the car in the garage at night and pull it out the next day and take some short drives trying to reproduce the problem with no luck, so we tried the distributor. Bingo! I just want to thank them for their determination to not give up on me and my car. I just wish the service center had a courtesy ride to my work down the street at the Home Depot. I would do ALL of my business with these two gentlemen. Thanks again, guys!

Went through IdentGo for fingerprinting renewal last week, did pre-screening and made an appointment online. I had my driver's license and my print-out when I arrived. They were only $25 and the waiting room was clean with comfortable seating. I was greeted by a customer care representative when I first arrived. I waited maybe 5 minutes and Charlotte serviced me quickly, efficiently, and she made me feel very comfortable! I have arthritis in my hands and she was still able to get my fingerprints easily; I also didn't feel self-conscious at all and she cleaned the machine before and after use. I prefer this location to any post office as they are a lot nicer, especially to senior citizens. I can't speak to the car garage or actual AAA services, but the fingerprinting was a very positive experience for me.

My daughter got her fingerprints done and they came back super fast. The lady that did them was super sweet.

I've been a AAA member for 30 years or better but this place this year they worked with me because of costs they're willing to give some discounts and if you have their Visa card you can utilize those points for offsetting the cost of AAA

State inspection. Did not add on unnecessary repairs. Good service.

Sloppy workmanship. Had an oil change; they didn't reconnect the engine plastic shield properly afterwards. So it dropped and dragged around for a day until I figured out the problem. Mechanic left his screwdriver in the back window. I guess he was checking the center rear brake light. They also pushed the purchase of new tires which I had purchased from them 3 months prior.Overall ; I can't recommend them.

AAA Downingtown Car Care Insurance Travel Center105 Quarry Rd, Downingtown, PA 19335I scheduled an appointment for an oil change online. I entered my Name, phone number, email address, AAA Member Number, appointment date and time, vehicle information and service (Oil Change)Arrived 5 minutes before appointment time. Told representative my name, appointment time and was getting an oil change. Representative asked if I was dropping off my car or staying with. I stated staying with and the rep indicated it would be about a two hour wait. I indicated I had a 10am appointment and the rep said their on-line appointment system doesn t take into consideration amount of work they have. My reply was Forget it and walked out. As I was leaving I heard the sarcastic comment Have a nice day .I called customer service to complain about the wait required when I had a scheduled appointment and the response I received from the Car Care Center representative. I was told by customer service that they would contact the service center and get back to me within a few days. It s now been 5 days with no follow-up.Service center had my contact information but neglected to let me know in advance there would be a long wait for an oil change. Why have an on-line scheduling system if the time means nothing. Remove AAA on-line scheduling system and have customer call the facility directly and schedule appointment.Needless to say I used another non-AAA service center the same day with no wait. I m finding it hard and harder to justify my AAA membership when I ve rarely used their road side assistance over decades and most of their travel information is only available on-line which is free on may other websites.

Every time you bring a vehicle here old or new, they will tell you something is wrong. I feel like I am getting ripped off. If you refuse the repair, they right a snotty reply on the paper. Instead of customer declined, they write customer does not want to correct problem. Stay with a reputable local garage. UPDATE: Brought vehicle to dealer and had alignment checked and it was fine

Called earlier in the week and spoke to a girl to ask if I needed an appointment for title services and was told no and that they don t take appointments anymore and to just come in. Drive 30 min up on Saturday with both of my vehicles and trailer and was told sorry but you need an appointment. Girl at the front desk was nice but said I probably spoke to the wrong person when I called. How am I supposed to know who to talk to?! When I said I was calling for title and tag services then I should have been transferred, not just given wrong information. I wasted my time and gas, and now still don t have my vehicles tagged and have to drive with expired tags again to go somewhere else. Very unhappy and definitely don t Recommend. Find people who can answer a phone correctly.

This place is great, as are the staff. I've used their notary service, had my car inspection done and bought 4 new tires which recently included a free rotation! Nate in the auto dept is so knowledgeable and helpful. In fact, everyone I have dealt with has been awesome.

Our vehicle wouldn't start. We jumped it & drove it to AAA auto center. Helpful service attendant took us in right away & diagnosed the problem. No installation charge for new battery because we are AAA members. Will definitely go back.

Sherman was an excellent facilitator! He made sure everything I needed done to my car was complete in a timely fashion. Love AAA in Downingtown Pa. They do a great job, always get my car back the same day and they explain issues in a language I can understand. 5

We were helped by Lauren with our out of state vehicle registration. The dealership in Indiana where we bought the vehicle botched every single piece of paperwork we had thus making it basically impossible to register legally. Lauren was able to contact all the appropriate parties, governmental and private, to resolve our issue. To say she went above and beyond is a disservice. I can't praise this location and Lauren more highly.

AAA is not what they use to be at allll. Find a alternative.. We have had AAA for years only requested a tow 2 times . My husband has a 2500 dodge Cummins truck they would not tow his truck they said it was oversized , second last night our 72 elcamino broke down . We needed the car towed to where it is stored 32 miles. We have 100 miles plan. Well we were told they had no drivers and the car would be taken to a AAA lot and towed when they had more drivers. That is unacceptable!!!!! When I talked to others they did that to a friend of ours when he needed to be towed 3 miles .. so they must be making money somehow with this storage thing they have going on. We pay 160.00 a year the customer service could careless . They were going take my husband's muscle car to some lot in the middle of a bad town and just leave us there to find another way home . Thankfully we canceled the tow my daughter's boyfriend is a really good man and dropped everything and came and got the car . Do not consider AAA find a alternative if possible. Unreliable, customer service is useless and they have no drivers.

Took care of us expertly when we needed notary services and even helped above and beyond. I mentioned not being able to use the nearby drop box for lack of an envelope (we had a FedEx shipping label in our papers) he overheard it an asked us to return to his desk for a second. He looked in the closet and found an unneeded FedEx envelope. Saved me so much time and effort!!Definitely recommend them!

I am almost feeling bad for this review, coz my first experience at this store was fabulous. I moved from NJ to PA and wanted my tag and title transferred. I was so happy with the courtesy and "subburb culture" kind of service that I got. Expensive, but wouldn't mind considering the experience. Now, second time I returned for my State Safety and Emissions check. All went well untill I was told my tires need replacement. I enquired the price and asked if they do a price match with Costco. The gentleman named Mickey acted very surprised with the price I was getting from Costco and tried to talk me out, saying their tires aren't the same, they can't offer 5 year warranty etc. I researched a bit more on my laptop sitting there waiting for my car to be ready. He told me, we can't match the price, visibly upset and informed if I don't get the tires now, I will be "failed" on the Safety test. All Ok, understandable, until be told once I get myself "Cheap Costco" tires I can come back and then I will be charged again for Safety inspection, to make sure tires were installed correctly by Costco. When I expressed my discomfort, that ideally I shouldn't be charged again as it's just a follow up quick visit, he shrugged me off saying " I don't want to waste my time". I mean so much for such a great customer experience in an earlier visit. I left with just an emissions sticker, waiting for my new tires at Costco. Read at so many different garages ( Attached Screenshot for United Tire and Service) that they offer FREE follow up Safety check for anything that you don't want to get repaired from their store/garage.AAA should please review this policy (if there is one) of charging again for a follow up visit post a finding in first safety check, and understand it doesn't seem fair as you are practically forcing a customer to get necessary repairs done from your store/garage to give them their Safety approval.

My husband's car needed repair an was towed by AAA to this location. The service was rather slow. They gave him a time it would be repaired by, but was ready for pick-up 2 days after the time he was told it would be ready. They were able to fix the issues and so far the car is running fine.

Made an appointment for tire service towards the end of the day. It was urgent as I live an hour away. They were able to fit me in and replace my tire. Everyone was professional and friendly. The shop was clean and comfortable. I wish I lived closer so I could use this shop again.

A lot of smoke and mirrors. After being assured I wouldn't be lied to and told it would be close to a grand to fix my car. I took my vehicle for a second opinion. The second place showed me all of the problems. AAA Downingtown never told me the extent of the damage. My left rear tire was basically on the verge of a blow out. I was told by them after a "safety check" my tires and pressure were good. This was false. They told me my brake pads were at 2 in front and 3 in rear. They were metal to metal. And my brake sensor line was blown apart or ripped when they supposedly inspected the brakes. I was never notified of this. They assured me my rotors were fine, that I just needed pads. This was false. Creating a very dangerous situation for me. I made it very clear, I'm an outside sales rep and I'm always in car on highway. Very disappointed. Drove 6 hours this weekend to visit family and spent my money with a more reputable service center. Calling corporate Monday morning to make them aware of the unsafe situation. I will never go back to that store!

I took a car that was overheating in. I paid $663 and the damn thing overheated before I went 5 miles. I went back, and they told me that they noticed oil in the anti freeze indicating a head gasket problem. Nobody told me this.If they thought that, why the hell did they force me to put $663 into the car to NOT fix it?? I reviewed the bill. They routinely add 200% to parts costs.A total ripoff. They re just there to get your money. They suck.

The staff is very friendly and courteous, but you cannot expect quality service here beyond the absolute basics. It has taken me over 2 weeks to have tires replaced on a 2011 Hyundai and the mechanics just can't seem to figure out how to seal tire pressure sensors. 4 tires, 2 return visits on 2 different tires. And because they overbook their mechanics it's nearly impossible to get timely service. I would probably be OK with oil changes and fluid work - but nothing that requires mechanical parts.
