Red Kieffer s Auto Repair is a company I trust with all my Mercedes repairs and maintenance. The work is outstanding and Jim watches out for your pocketbook. I was recommended by my sister who has been taking her car to Kieffer's for about a year and had all good things to say about them. I had an appointment the day before my actual appointment but due to unforeseen circumstances I missed it and they called me see if all was well. They accommodated me with an appointment the next day! I even needed a ride home when I dropped my car off and the dad drive me home AND picked me up when my car was finished!! All of the staff there is very nice staff, kind, knowledgeable and professional. I would recommend Kieffer s for any auto repair service.

First off Pete and Jim are a class act. My first time there they couldn't be any nicer or honest. They stand behind their word and are sincere about it. The facility is great and they are very patient and helpful.You do have to secure your own financing but being able to be confident going into a dealership and repair shop is a great feeling. Thank you guys so much

Red Kieffer's is the best independent Mercedes-Benz shop in PA. My experience with them has been great. They are honest, fair, thorough, and know your Mercedes-Benz. Don't hesitate to give them a try. This is the only place I will take my Mercedes-Benz. Jim is honest and very knowledgeable. He is always looking out for what is best for the vehicle. The communication is the best I have encountered from any service center or dealership. They check in after the service to see if everything is working well and to make sure you are happy. Had my car serviced here for last couple years and always straight forward honest service. I like that they take the time to review your cars history and complete the work that is needed to keep it up to date but not unnecessary. I like that they use genuine Mercedes parts and fluids that are recommended for the car. They always take the time to explain the work that is needed and answer any questions that you may have. I would recommend to friends or family.

I have been using Kieffers exclusively for years now. Always friendly, honest, andreliable and have always felt confident when i picked it up that my vehicle was good to go. I own a 23 year old MB 500SL. It s not an easy car to work on or find quality for at that age. I owned the car for 4 years and the first thin I realized was that the convertible top was not functioning. That was no problem for the people at Kieffers. I am somewhat fastidious about my car and Kieffer s handles everything from an oil change to a heater, air conditioner motor replacement. The service is friendly and it s always quality. Excellent service. I have been going to Red Kieffers for the past 2 years with my E350 and ML350 Diesel. Jim Kieffer is the ultimate professional and they do a very thorough job overall. I have stopped going to the MB Dealer. Got transmission service/front sway links/lift gate shocks done in less round trip time it takes to Manhattan/NYC dealerships. Also saw some interesting used cars on their lot bearing the stamp of Kieffer honesty. I can't think of dealing with a better company. Jim is great, the work is great, and they are very honest in their recommendations and pricing. I have used Kieffer's for the repair/maintenance of my 2005 C240 since I bought it in 2010. I highly recommend this shop.

I moved out here to the sticks a few years ago, and one of my concerns was that I wouldn't be able to find a local independent shop to work on my Mercedes. I was pleasantly surprised to find Red's a stone's throw away. While I'm generally a DIY guy, it's good to know that Red's is there for the other stuff, and they've been able to handle some of my catastrophes. Brought my car in to see how much it would cost to get my sun roof fixed. it wouldn't close fully but still opened and had power. They told me it would $1500 at the least but possibly more due to more damage that could happen during the repair? I told them i needed a second opinion first. After I picked it up i realized the sunroof didn't work at all and was extremely loose. They didn't even put it back on the tracks! I insisted they give me back the $100 i gave them to look at it and they refused. If you would like your car in worse shape then when you dropped it off I recommend you go here.

Don't waste your time. I call to setup an appointment to have spark plugs replaced as part of the 60k mile service and he would call back. Never get a call back. I call back and his answer is "I am not interested in doing the service". Seriously? So I call back thinking maybe he is not an auto repair shop and asks me if I buy bacon from 1 store to have it cooked at another? What are you even talking about?Rude and unprofessional. Plus he tells me well its a few hour job so I am not interested? How is this clown even in business? 40 years in business by turning away customers? Whatever.I was on the hunt for a good shop where I would take my GL450 in for service for everything including maintenance like oil changes instead of going to the dealer. He tells me take it to Masano! Thanks champ I know I can take it to the dealer but why do that instead of supporting local businesses.
