ReviewThis was my first time at Crushers Auto and I was extremely happy from start to finish. I called for an emergency appointment on a Friday afternoon and Phil was very accommodating. I explained my situation and he told me to bring the car right over. I got a tow to the shop and he ordered the part/parts I needed that day and installed them within a reasonable time. Super happy with my experience here. Without a doubt will be back for any future needs!

I would give 6 stars if I could. I was struggling to find someone to work on my SLS AMG locally (Alabama) so after some research I came across Phil. I explained to him what issues I was experiencing (engine codes, limp mode, and completing my Weistec build). After talking with him I was impressed on his knowledge and his ability to determine a differential diagnosis on how to approach the repair. I had the car transported. Phil was key on communication, I was always kept in the loop as to where we were in the repair. There was no surprise charges, he was very organized and professional as to letting me know each itemized line on the invoice. I never felt like I needed to call and check on the car, this is the most comfortable I ve been with any mechanic and business owner. Phil replaced the engine wiring harness, rewired the injector connectors, installed a catch can, and much more. After receiving the car back all my issues were resolved, no engine codes, no limp mode. I have plans on sending another projects to him in the future. I wish I could give 100 stars to Crusher Tire & Auto. Phil has been absolutely unbelievable and such a professional in the business. We have had several issues with our cars and Phil has come through with flying colors. He is very attentive to our needs as well as the needs of others. This last job that was done was a HUGE one in which we were given an estimate right up front. My gasket blew on the valve cover and at the same time my timing chain went. This was no 1 minute fix it was a 3 day job in which Phil had to pull the engine and other parts to repair our car we asked him while he was at it if he could check out the transmission as well. I know someone that is a "FORD" guy and had worked in the industry for many years and before we gave the go ahead to do the repair work I spoke with my friend about the costing of the job, they said Phil was right in the ballpark the estimate was a very good and fair estimate. So we told Phil go ahead with the job. My husband and I could not be anymore pleased as Phil kept in contact with us every step of the way to make sure that we were informed on the progress. When we went to pick her up yes I name my cars and they are she's lol her name is "Fran the Ford" Phil had a box of the parts that had broken and had taken the time to even video the breakage area and explained to us what happened!!!! Who does this? Phil did and I can highly recommend him. This was a 3 day job and did this by himself. We have tried other auto repair shops before but not as satisfying as Crusher Tire & Auto. Give him a try he is honest as the day is long. We are very, very pleased with him. 100 platinum stars to you Phil Thank you for being you and excellent work.

I ve been looking for a trustworthy mechanic for years, I now know I have to look no further! Phil was amazing from scheduling me an appointment that wasn t super pushed back, he thoroughly looked over my car and let me know exactly what was going on with it. I m so thankful I found a great shop with great prices and is also Veteran Owned. Thank you for your service Phil!!

I came to Crusher with a very extensive project for my old Mustang. Phil took this car from the ground up, assembling my engine, replacing transmissions, all new suspension, fuel system, electrical, and forced induction installation. His meticulous attention to detail is clearly visible in the finished product and I could not be any happier with the results. He's shown the utmost professionalism during the project, guiding me through the build and providing status updates along the way. My Wife and I were recommended to Phil at Crusher Tire & Auto from another local auto mechanic. We had never been to Crusher before but Phil had gone above and beyond to treat us as if we were long time customers! He went past just giving us a quote to really helping us find the best solution for our car issues. This meant that for him the work needing done now was best done through the dealership. He definitely gained long-term customers and we will be bringing our cars here now, FIRST, before anywhere else!! Phil really does have his customers best interests at front of mind.

Great experience! My truck was in need of an inspection and Crusher Tire & Auto came highly recommended. I made an appointment and dropped off the night before. Beware! Scam! Philip quotes one price that's very appealing, once you go to pick your vehicle up, he will start saying there was a lot more work that needed to be done he was unaware of, then will say you owe him much more to get your vehicle back, way more than what was agreed upon! Doesn't call you before he does the work letting you know it will be more, he just supposedly fixes the so called extra work then holds your vehicle hostage! Funny he started out not too long ago and seemed like he ran a stand up company, now he's got some business and the screwing starts!

I was recommended to go to Crusher Tire and Auto this year. This has been the best recommendation that i have gotten. I can't tell you how refreshing it is to have absolute complete confidence in your mechanic. Phil has went above and beyond for me. My car broke down in philadelphia and after 8 hours waiting for it to be towed I was completely frazzled. Phil looked at it first thing and let me know there was a service bulletin on it from manufacturer and I could get it fixed at no cost to me through the dealership. He treated me as if I was a long time customer by going beyond anything I could have imagined. He has gained not only myself but my mom as his customers for life. If you need a mechanic, Crushers Tire and Auto is the place to go!!!!

From Wilmington to Douglassville to get proper work done. Phil at Crusher Tire is worth the drive to go to.Where an Audi dealership quoted me 18k for a whole new motor, Phil took on the task of giving a second opinion and providing a much cheaper and better service if we had to go the route of a whole new motor.Not only was Audi COMPLETELY wrong about the bad motor, but Phil came through and completely revived the troubled motor with a well done tune up.This man is not only extremely honest and trustworthy (spent 20+ minutes with me each phone call to in depth explain what he had found, his game plan for fixes, and all of that) but he is a hard working and dedicated person that takes pride in his work.Even though he is an hour away from me, Phil will be my go to mechanic from here on out. Worth every penny. Phil did a great job repairing my vehicle when needed and was very accommodating to my situation. He kept me updated along the way and work was does in a timely fashion at a reasonable rate. He notified me of future maintenance that would need to be done but didn't hassle me about it just to make an extra buck. I have recommended him personally to others. Excellent customer service! Phil helped me out taking me on as a new customer and being able to take a look at my vehicle at a moments notice. He was great at explaining the problem and the solution. Phil has done a fantastic job working on my cars. I have a fairly complex classic Japanese car that Phil has helped get running. He is very detail oriented and makes sure the job gets done correctly, without cutting corners. I first came to Crusher Tire and Auto for an honest inspection on my car and it easily became my go to shop whenever I need anything . Not only is Phil super nice and honest , he doesn t mind explaining things a couple times. And not to mention he does fantastic work ! Whenever I take my cars here I NEVER feel like I m being scammed ( and I ve been to shops that flat out lie about fixing an issue, or causing more ). I simply wouldn t trust my cars with anyone else . Phil is the best ! Take your car to him!!!!

I utilized CT&A on a whim after seeing several recommendations (social media) and read their reviews (social media/google). I highly recommend CT&A for any auto need! Phil was very clear and made sure i understood what was being replaced/fixed and what I was paying for. Moving back to the area, Phil (Crusher Auto), was the first place that came to mind. It is my opinion that when you work with a smaller shop you can have confidence that they are thorough and still have pride in their work. I can attest that Phil has just that. I recently visited for an annual inspection and oil change which he performed timely with professionalism. He even found an issue with a loose bolt that could have turned into a much larger issue in time if not identified. Thank you Phil and Crusher Auto!

Took my 07 Dodge Ram 1500 to Phil for some issues from figuring out what was the problem and fixing it Phil did everything he needed to do to get me back on the road. Very professional and took the time to explain what was the problem and showed me what caused it. Brought my van in, was running rough with some known problems, but no definite root cause. Phil was great with diagnosing the issues and giving me updates on what he found. He was able to make the right repairs quickly and for a good price. Would recommend his services to anyone.

I have nothing but great things to say about the service provided by Phil at Crusher Tire and Auto. I'm Phil's neighbor, and I see firsthand the amount of hours he puts in. He is hardworking, receptive and a master of his craft with an undisputable attention to detail.Recently, my 2012 vw golf diesel required a complete fuel system replacement/upgrade due to poor quality fuel and the resulting catastrophic failure of the fuel pump and related components. This was not an inexpensive repair, but after talking to Phil, we both came to the conclusion that fixing the car was worth the time and money.Low and behold, even at 222k miles, it was absolutely worth the effort and I would recommend anyone in a similar situation to put Crusher Tire & Auto on their short list.
