Shout out to Mr Edward, Eddie Forde, and everyone else at Devon Auto for getting my 2008 Towed in Civic for a failed fuel pump. The guys at Strafford Napa located a factory in line fuel pump, and gave it to these guys, and in about under 3 hrs, my car was driving me home!! This team is incredible and courteous, too. Very knowledgeable, knowing on tow in what was the problem!! Excellent work!! I highly recommend this shop and their sister store; Shelly's. These guys and gals know their car repairs, even if it just got towed in!!!

I've been going to Devon Auto for several years with excellent results. It's a well run and honest repair center. Nick and his team fix what needs to be fixed at a decent price. I see no reason to go elsewhere.

Nick is incredibly thorough and kind. We have an older Subaru that needed what I'll call "strategic" maintenance to keep it safe and running smoothly, but without investing too much into a 20-year old car. Thanks to a mailman, I've landed with a mechanic who gives me peace of mind. What led me to Devon Auto Repair was the smoking result of a brake job poorly performed by another shop. A mailman on his delivery route mentioned a good mechanic only a few doors down, where I met Nick. For the last couple of years I have been trying to find a local auto repair place that made me feel totally comfortable. Previously I had used the same person for years but he retired. After trying some other places in the area, no horror stories but no one made me think that s going to be my regular place.This week I figured I would give Devon Auto a call for an inspection on a car that had 175000 miles. Nick and Jake were great. With that many miles, there is always something. Nick had to fix some real minor things, explained with the miles what I need to keep an eye on. After talking to him, I asked if he could do a couple of other things for me. In no time at all he was done, and his cost was more than reasonable. I found my new place. Tried to tell me my van needed $1600 in front end work, tie rods, ball joints, etc. It didn t seem right to me because I just had it inspected 2 months ago at a different shop who I trust in Phoenixville.So I took it to a highly respected garage in Brookhaven that has been around for 35 years for a second opinion who said the front end is fine, needs nothing.Either this guy has no idea what he s doing or he s a crook. Either way not to be trusted, I ll never be back.

Nick Salvo is the new manager of Devon Auto Repair; he is a highly skilled mechanic and honest business man. Nick has been taking care of our cars since the 80's and I always feel like my car is being pampered. Nick pampers his customers as well, always explaining in detail the work he has performed and everything he checked. Since he has been servicing my car, I have never broken down on the road and I have never had to take it back to redo a repair. Nick's prices are reasonable and he cuts you a break when ever he can. Nick and now Devon Auto Repair are as good as it get when it comes to having your car serviced.

Nick is an excellent mechanic and very trustworthy!! Hes been servicing my cars for many many years and I've never had one issue. His prices are reasonable and the work is top notch. If you want someone you can trust take your cars to Devon Auto repair and Nick, you wont be sorry!!

I took my car to this place primarily for oil change. When I return to the place to pick up the vehicle, I noticed they didn t do the oil change properly. Brake oil was empty as it was. They did not change the dirty fluids. I asked them that the brake oil is still empty and they brought the brake oil bottle to fill it in the parking lot right on spot. They also told me they plugged in a diagnostic machine to diagnose for any issues which I agreed. But they did not diagnose the car, however they printed out multiple pages of Toyota company codes from the google and which I already had it in a pdf. They charged me $70 just for printing the pdf From google but could not tell me any issue they found with the car. And they were also not willing to fix it had they found issues although they didn t tell me what issue they got.So, I had to take the vehicle to the nearest Toyota dealer immediately. That is where I learned that the Devon Auto Repair did not actually do oil change. They didn t flush it out.I had to pay again and redo the oil change at the nearest dealer. And, I had to pay again to re-do the diagnostics.Just be careful before being cheated like me !Service: Oil change

I broke my ankle a few weeks ago so I rented a knee scooter. Well somehow, the front 2 outside wheels and the front middle wheel got out of alignment with each other, so I couldn't use it. I had been stuck, unable to get out of the car for a couple of hours while I called around trying to find someone who could fix it. I couldn't find anyone to fix it in the area. It suddenly dawned on me that since the issue was a wheel alignment, maybe a mechanic could fix it! So I called Devon Auto Repair. I explained my problem to Kevin, who didn't hesitate one second to tell me that he'd see what he could do. Kevin was so kind and so friendly! He was able to fix the wheel alignment without any trouble! I was so thankful and so grateful for his help that day! Thanks to him, I was finally able to get out of the car!So Kevin, THANK YOU AGAIN SO VERY MUCH!!!!!!!!

Devon auto is seriously the only auto repair business that I trust with my vehicle. They have helped me on countless occasions and they are all about customer satisfaction. I don't usually leave reviews but Devon Auto warrants a great one! If I could give 6 stars I seriously would.

Very genuine straight forward, they don't take your money unless they have done the job correctly, which tells a lot about trust. Pricing is very reasonable aswel. Nick was very fast to respond and was understanding of my situation and helped me out even though it was a last minute notice. Definitely recommend this shop! They have cool cars aswel personal cars you see and appreciate, those alone will tell you how well they do their job!

For starters, Nick is a smiling, happy, great guy right off the bat. He is a local guy with a small business that does exceptional, honest work.I was in need of quick service to repair an exhaust issue before leaving for a trip and Nick not only could accommodate me on short notice but gave me an extremely FAIR price. Nick did the work during the time period he promised and for the price he quoted me. The truck is running great now and will be returning to Devon Auto Repair because of Nick.THRILLED TO GIVE MY BUSINESS TO A LOCAL GUY AND A "MOM AND POP SHOP!" Thanks Nick!

I was referred to Devon Auto by a friend and I am SO grateful! I needed a new mechanic due to a recent move. Nick and Jake are friendly, fair, trustworthy, and make everything so easy and convenient! Hands down the best experience I've had at a mechanic. They took the time to thoroughly explain options, and we're extremely friendly about it. When the repair came out to cost less than the estimate, rather than just charging me the estimate, they significantly reduced the price. They do everything but paint and body work. I won't ever take my car anywhere else again!!!

My husband and I are so glad we found Devon Auto repair and will no longer go anywhere else! We absolutely love it here and they are always so HELPFUL and take the time to explain things! I went their 2 times, first for PA state and emission inspection and they were charging more than the market 2nd time for the water pump change but the man said that I'll check and will share the estimate in an hour, then I went after an hour, he was searching over the internet and saying to me that I am working on it will let you and never called back.I found him incompetent mechanic who can not fix complex issues.
