I had my car towed here after someone hit my car while my son was parked on a street, from the tow truck driver who my kid said was very very nice, {to get a compliment from him is a huge deal} Shout out to Jason G., TY!to the people in the office, they were so nice and I felt like they actually heard what I was saying, they handled the entire incident very well. Now it took my INS Co over 2 weeks to provide them with a check, so the length of not having my car killed me but it was no one's fault except the INS CO. When I got the car back, I heard something weird and I was oh God here we go, because in the back of my mind I'm thinking I just read all these reviews, well they fixed it immediately. I think the paint could have had a 2nd coat in 2 tiny areas, which I'm 100% sure they will touch up for me or I will be revising my review. Lol I'm just so grateful to have my car back, thank all of you.

Everybody that See this post Listen up!!! I got into a Car accident 2 weeks ago and my Car was Towed to this place and it s there me and my family has been calling this place for 2 weeks and no answer I went to the business located near 69th st and arrived at 12pm and they were closed but they were supposed to close at 4pm they closed 4 hours early on 12/22/23 so I drive there again today 12/29/23 @ 12:30pm. I collected a few items that was in my totaled car then walked into the office and I asked for a Vehicle release form and I signed it took pictures so the insurance company can come collect the car. I told the lady the insurance company is coming out today to get the car . So I left the office I got in my rental car and drove off now I m literally 15min away from this place the insurance lady calls back after I sent photos of the vehicle release form and said I need to tell the tow truck place to send her the fees to her email so they can pay the storage fees so I drove back to this place and now there closed and I sat and thought about it and I realized once I told the tow truck place that the insurance company is coming today to get the car they closed the store probably immediately after I drove off these people purposely don t answer the phone from insurance companies they know there phone numbers they hold the cars longer to make people pay more money the longer they hold the more you pay I m going back next week and I will be on the phone with the insurance company at the same time and I will be video recording everything and I m not leaving the store until the insurance company come get the car I ll literally take the day off and sit up there all day if I have to these people don t understand who there messing with .this place has to have a license to run this business and it needs to stripped of everything they own ima tell the insurance company to hire a private investigator they won t see it coming cause you never know who is who nowadays they gone lose there business over Greed!!!! No stars. These people are the biggest scammers!!!! They take peoples cars and hold them hostage. They add fraudulent charges that they tell people so the insurance can pay an astronomical amount out. They will not give the car back with multiple attempts to pick up our vehicle from our insurance company and they pretend like they are not there. They don t answer the phone, the owner is an arrogant piece of work and that s being nice . I have no idea how this fraudulent business is still up and running this place needs to be shut down. Scum!!

This place is running an insurance scam.DO NOT LET THEM TOW YOUR CAR FROM AN ACCIDENT SITE!! MODERN AUTO CRAFTERS will dump your car in the street if you can't afford to pay their exorbitant rates!! They will deny having your car initially in order to run up fees! I strongly recommend using another company!!!

SCAM ALERT This place is a total scam. They charged a bunch of fees and threaten me with a lawsuit when they realized I knew my rights. They dropped my car at a random spot and refused to give me the address when the cops said I didn t have to pay. They re a total scam and they need to get shut down. The owner lied and said I just work here cause he didn t want to take responsibility for his actions. Just run

My car was broken into and already had damage to the rear from a previous accident so PPD called a tow to come pick it up. Since I wasn t around to designate a place for it to get towed to, someway somehow (I think we can figure out how) my car ended up at this location in Upper Darby despite the break in and the original tow company being located in Philadelphia. When I went to pick up my car the owner gave me an invoice of $1215 for storage ( 3 days), b.s fees, and towing despite not even being the company that towed my car! Thankfully I was able to get into contact with my local police department and it turns out my car was never supposed to be stored there after it was towed. When who I assume is the owner and or manager found out I went to the police he called me and said verbatim you know what you did and said that he left my car at a random meter on the street and that it s my responsibility now. Thankfully the officer I talked to was extremely helpful in righting this wrong. If you are going through this FIGHT BACK. Do not let them bully you! And make sure you read up on the towing laws of your specific city/county. They genuinely do not expect people to know their rights and they prey on that.

SCAM! Had a tow truck bring my car to this lot yesterday and now they won t answer the phone to arrange to have it picked up. They are creating a long delay before I can get my car fixed for their own profit. They took advantage of me when I was in a vulnerable place. Do not do business with them.EDIT: A very prompt response to this negative review to gaslight me about the situation and call me a coward. What a professional business! Unfortunately, though, it was a complete lie and my insurance provider has still not been able to reach them. I wish they put half effort into providing service that they have put into making me feel small and used.EDIT 2: Possibly the worst customer service experience of my entire life. I expected this shop to help transfer my car in a timely manner and instead my insurance company had to call for two days before reaching anyone that would help. On top of that, the shop reached out to me to insult my personal integrity and call me a coward for posting a review about my negative experiences with them. Peter, I sincerely hope you work out whatever is causing you to treat people in such a harmful manner. I deeply regret that my car ended up at this shop, making the already stressful experience of a car accident immensely worse.

All was great until I went to clean out my car. Was in an accident and insurance totaled the car. Went to clean out the car today and found that I had items stolen from my trunk. The two major things they took were a road side assistance bag and a portable air compressor (Very interesting to me how these items went missing at a place that provides roadside assistance). All of my stuff was opened and dumped out in the trunk as if someone went through all of it. I then went in to speak with someone at the front desk to see what happened. Their response was to hand me $200 and told me to have a nice day. Response to your comment below:1.) Not a towing service? Then how come I have a signed towing agreement from your shop?2.) My car was there for 19 days not 30, regardless length of time it does not give you a right to not keep my belongings secure. When I specifically called and asked for the trunk to be sealed multiple times.3.) I was in the office for 5 minutes (I have the whole thing recorded). What I would have liked was my stuff not being stolen. Sure you replaced the value of the item. Still did not address how these items were stolen.4.) Yes the Vehicle was hit hard but I don t think an impact can unzip zippers to bags and take things out of them.

Terrible customer service. We got our car towed after an accident and they refused to take calls from our insurance company to process claims. They take advantage of people after accidents. We needed to pay storage fees just to get our car back which cost us close to $1k. Please stay away from this place!

Complete scam they held my husbands car hostage and tried to lie and say it was totaled to keep it. Told our tow guy won t accept your welfare check when they tried to pay with a business check for our charges to pick up the car. Completely unprofessional once they know you don t want work done on your car there. They pay wreck chasers big $$$ to go around bullying people into singing for a tow minutes after accidents so they can take them there and start charging people over $700 a day in fees. Even the local police department says they are regularly looked into for fraud. DO NOT GO HERE!!!Pretty funny response considering there s sever other reviews with the same experience we had lol why did you turn reviews off on Facebook? Yelp reviews match our experience as well.Do you have something against a woman calling you out for being unprofessional? Pretty low to comment on me deciding to leave the review over him. Shows your character. He was also there at 4:30 pm and the internet as well as the hours posted in your door say you re open til 5. Glad you tried to lie to make yourself look better though.

Modern Auto Crafters is hands down the BEST body shop out there. They are clean, professional, friendly, timely and above all provide great quality work. My family and I have been taking our cars to Modern for years. We are very pleased with the service every time! They have a beautiful facility that is newly renovated. You can expect nothing but excellent service and great quality work. Take your car there! Guarantee you won t regret it!

So my vehicle was brought here after a accident. The next day I got a call introducing themselves and if I needed anything please call. Later that day I set up a tow for the vehicle to be moved to the preferred shop of my choice. Two days later my vehicle was still there and after numerous failed call attempts I drove there. I was told they had a emergency and had to close early but people were still there. Finally on Monday almost a week later my vehicle was finally removed. Good customer service if you can get them on the phone or person but very difficult to do. Voicemail full for both numbers so you can't even leave a voicemail. It's my only experience here but obviously a bad one so be careful if you use this place.

Modern Auto Crafters - Service was good until my insurance company determined that my car was totaled. When I went to retrieve my belongings from my car It became harder to get assistance. I had to wait a long time for service. Also, my car was in the middle of a large lot and customers are not allowed to drive on that lot. I needed help hauling my stuff from my wrecked vehicle to the rental car. Had to practically beg for help from the lot worker.

My experience was great. At the accident scene, the tow truck driver called us an Uber, placed our luggage (we were returning from the airport) in the Uber by carry it across a busy highway. It's those little details that matter.The next morning, bright and early, Auto Crafters called and updated us on the status of things. I called later in the day to inform them the vehicle needed to be moved to another repair location and the woman who answered the phone was very courteous and helpful.I think they do a fine job. Thank you Modern Auto Crafters with what was a very stressful situation.

Super nice staff, had a car accident and they took their time to help me through the process although I was upset originally because the tow truck driver told me a different price but soon found out he didn t actually work for modern so once I was able to get all the right information everything went great! Will definitely recommend especially if you want to be treated fairly and be sane throughout the process of a accident . THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU

My family and I absolutely love Modern Auto Crafters and have been avid loyal customers for over 10 years. They are some of the nicest, most professional and hardworking people we have ever worked with. They are very accommodating with providing rental cars while our cars are being worked on, and we always receive them in a timely manner and looking brand new and sharp. I got into a pretty terrible car accident about 4 weeks ago. The tow truck took my vehicle and I thought my insurance were going to handle the rest. 3 weeks later I come to find out that my insurance wasn t doing anything in reguard to the storage feed at the modern auto. I spoke with a representative and the storage feed was I think up to almost 1700$ the gentleman was very resonalble and put himself on my shoes and cut $700 off my bill. I cannot thank you enough for that. Very grateful it went to your yard and not anyone else. Cheers guys. Thank you so much for making my terrible experience with the whole car accident much better and easier.

I wish I could rate this place 0 stars. I feel as if this place is a whole SCAM. They'll keep your car for 30+ days so they can make money off of you when the job literally would only take 2 weeks. They don't care that your insurance only covers 30 days of the rental. They constantly give you the runaround and not upfront answers. They performed a service to my car and messed it up and because it wasn't in my accident report I am responsible for the extra costs. Oh, and let me not forget about the front desk lady who answers the phones. She is the WORST. She is extremely rude. She tries to constantly get you off the phone because she is doesn't really know anything. I wish I never went to this place. WORST experience ever. This is just a warning for others. I was in an accident about 6 weeks ago and I picked my car up today. Kelly especially kept me sane for all 6 of those weeks as I waited for my card to be fixed. She patiently explained the process from start to finish every time I called (which was a lot) and even made the process of turning in my rental car easy for me as well!They are polite, professional, patient, and did a really great job on my car.They are supremely awesome!

Hands down the best service in town!!! They were very professional and did an amazing job fixing my vehicle. There customer service is unmatched and they did a great job communicating to me updates and vital info pertaining to my vehicle. I could not have asked for a better experience, soo to anyone questioning, if they made the right decision by choosing modern auto crafters? I m here to tell you, you can rest your mind assured that you made the right decision by choosing modern!!! I ve dealt with many other repair shops in the past but I am a repeat customer of moderns and will continue to make them my number 1 and only choice. 5 stars to those guys!!! If I could I would give more cause they most definitely deserve it!! On September 26 I was in a car accident. A Modern Auto Crafters tow truck responded to my accident and towed it to the collision center. After speaking with my insurance and deciding I wanted to move my car I had it arranged to have my car released to another collision center. They had my car for 5-6 days and then my license plate disappeared. Nobody at the office will admit it went missing in their care and claim it ll take 2-3 weeks to review surveillance cameras. My car arrived to the second collision center without plates which they can prove with photo evidence. I can prove my car left my care with them. And yet I had to report them stolen and pay for new ones like I didn t already have to pay for my car to get fixed. The lady on the phone tried to make it seem like how could I not notice my plates missing for so long, and that because it was being worked on for a month and half. And the second collision center assumed that my car didn t have plates cause it was given to them without them. Why would they say something and why wouldn t you?! If I knew I had to do your job and watch my car on your lot too, I wouldn t have let you tow and or touch my car. I want to be reimbursed for the price of a new plate I shouldn t have needed it I hadn t been towed by you. So anything can happen in my car and I d never know cause you have no desire to be up front about it.Edit:Bizarre how it s more important for you to respond to my review than to call me and let me know you ve reviewed the tapes.... now at three months later. So like I wrote before, no proof shown to me. Very immature to passive aggressively insult me over the internet, I have a number, call.

What an incredibly unprofessional business. The improper and rather discourteous response the owner (or the owner s Ill-equipped employee) gave to another comment that spoke about their experience just speaks volumes as to how they treat their customers.Like many others in the review, I had a horrible experience with Modern Auto Craft. In addition, while I was fortunate to not have anything of value stolen, my full sized hand sanitizer was taken from my car. Nothing to sweat over - but how insolent are the employees where they steal hand sanitizer of all things? Furthermore, and most importantly, my car was damaged in their care. Needless to say, I have photos of my vehicle before it was in their care.Word to the wise - avoid this business. If somehow your vehicle ends up here, take pictures/videos of absolutely everything. Do not trust them.I would not be shocked if the owner or his employees try anything to negate my review or gaslight the situation. Dirty tactics from a dirty business.

This place towed my car after I got in an accident. They showed up at the scene not even 2 minutes after it happened. They gave me and my insurance company the run around a bunch of times about release my car to the auto body shop. It was like pulling teeth. They ignored my calls blatantly many times. FINALLY after 5 days they release my car (they just wanted the storage fee) and when the bill was submitted to my insurance the adjuster told me it was the least detailed bill he s ever seen. Highly do not recommend.

Very nasty! My husband came in the shop to ask about our car. The man in the office tells my husband I m on the phone. What kind of customer service is that? Had my husband out in the cold for 15 min with no assistance. You are picking up cars after accidents that are fully covered only to treat owners who pay good money to cover your fees poorly. You all shouldn t be in business treating people like that!

I gave them 4 stars because the body work was exceptional!! However the wait for the repair was a full month , once I contacted them that my rental expired they called me the next day to pick up my vehicle. Had to return it back because the alignment wasn't done correct. The vehicle was detailed inside as well which was a nice touch.

Be careful with this place. The tow truck companies associated with this place will go through your car and steal your belongings. The lady at the front desk does not want to help at all and when asking questions, she won't claim any responsibility neither will they attempt to at least offer some level of help to tow the car out. They delay it as long as possible. Will be hiring lawyers to make sure this place gets recognition for the criminal activity going on here.

My car was taken to this shop the day of my accident. My car was looked at by my insurance company on 7/13/22. The shop called my insurance company today 7/18/22 & stated that I ok d for my car to be moved to another shop by someone named Kelly because they can t get to it for 30 days.1st Mistake- You knew once the car was inspected you couldn t do the repairs.2nd Mistake- My insurance company was informed that they could not do the repairs. I m the customer I should have been the 1ST CALL.3rd Mistake- Kelly told my insurance company that I ok d the move when NO ONE CALLED ME so she LIED.4th Mistake- Kelly is not professional and appeared that she was irritated with me like I DID SOMETHING WRONG!Please DO NOT take your car to this shop.MODERN AUTO CRAFTER IS A JOKE!Service: Auto body & trim replacement
