Great place, great mechanics, nice guys. Always a pleasure to know that my cars are taken care of by Dave and Dave. Not to mention seeing some of the collector cars that they service! Wow! Automobile history.

I first brought my car to Dalton Garage after a Clarks Summit swindler quoted me $1300 to fix a problem with my exhaust system. Dalton charged me $300.Since then, I have been back there 10+ times with two different cars, and the bill has ALWAYS ended up being lower than I expected. Moreover, I have NEVER once had any "surprise problems" spring up a day or two after I pick up my car.I don't know all that much about cars, so I'm sure that Dalton has had ample opportunities to screw me. Nevertheless, every time I ask a knowledgeable friend to take a look at the fix, they all confirm that the job has been done well.Things to consider:I. These guys are busy guys, and their business is booming. You will probably have to call a week in advance if you want to get your car in. That being said, if you can plan ahead and wait a week, you'll save yourself $, and you won't have to worry about some a**hole mechanic jamming a screw driver into a fluid compartment to force you back into the shop the week after.II. When you call, your phone conversation will not be the warmest, bubbliest conversation ever. However, they will respect you and give you top-notch service.
