We came here last weekend for the meteor shower and spent one night in the RV campground. Carola was extremely patient helping us plan our trip and made sure we arrived safely. We had a dramatic night and I myself observed 17 shooting stars over the fantastic milky way. The breakfast next day was out of the world! We could love this place more~

Very nice. Beautiful views. Awesome breakfast. Absolutely NO cell service.for us. One person in our group had Verizon and had service but Boost mobile got nothing. Campground has wifi although signal was weak where we were but enough to get some messages out. Will definitely go back. FYI gas.pump in Cross Fork does have gas.

This place is so beautiful! We have been going here for years and have stayed at both the windy hill and white oak cabins. They re both very nice but the white oak is our favorite. The living room area is bigger. They get the elk on the grounds sometimes. Highly recommend!

Our family has been to Quiet Oaks several times over the past few years. Every visit has been wonderful! The cabins are nice, well-equipped with linens and kitchen items. The owners really work hard to make our stay enjoyable! Our kids enjoy playing outside and going for walks around the property, and evenings by the campfire. We enjoy the peace and quiet of being away in the mountains, and Dave & Carla provide an amazing opportunity for much-needed R&R at Quiet Oaks!

Stayed in 2016, loved it and will be going back again. The owners are amazing and so friendly. The campground is quiet and clean with a beautiful view. They also have free wifi, which is great considering your in the mountains. If you're lucky you will be able to spot black bears. I'm always looking when I'm in the area, I've seen many over the years. This is my favorite place to visit when I want to get away from it all.

A beautiful, quiet (unless they are sponsoring an event) campground. The night sky is just as spectacular as the daytime vistas at this woodland campground. The hosts are friendly and helpful and their open air cafe (The Roadkill Cafe) offers a wonderful weekend breakfast menu at a very reasonable price.

My family and I have been coming up here the last couple of years and couldn't be any happier. Carla and Dave the owners are very pleasant and will do anything to make your stay perfect. Camping area is on top of a mountain. Very scenic and relaxing. Cabins are very nicely furnished and super clean and very reasonably priced. Best kept secret in the area. Highly recommend them!

I just want to say thanks to Dave for finding us a cabin at the last minute. we went up to our camp and was snowed out got stuck on the way back in and day was able to hook us up for one night. They put us up in a cabin the name of the cabin was hemlock it sets up above Jeff's bar and across from Debs and cross forks. This place it's a board laugh outside like I said it doesn't look like much on the outside but once you walk in it's beautiful. You'll be able to see from the photos and the video that I'm posting with this entry. The places amazing the other thing I got to say is after you see the photos in the video the only thing is missing here is you going up and enjoying the time and the serenity of the Pennsylvania wilds.

We had a great time at this campground. We got a cabin last minute because it was storming out. The owners were nice and friendly. The only thing we didn't like was they had a big did that kept coming over to our cabin and pooping in the yard. With 2 kids we had to clean it up so they wouldn't accidentally step in it.

Thought I was sent on a wild goose chase to find a place serving breakfast on a Sunday morning. Sat. and Sun. 8-10. It's out in the middle of nowhere. Great food, great price, and great veiw. Rustic out door home style fresh cooked breakfast!

My sister and I spent a week in the White Oak cabin. We had wonderful time there. The cabin has every thing we need for living, but internet (you can get internet connection near the office, 50 yards away from the cabin). It's located on top of mountain, has beautiful views. We are so lucky that we evidenced the super moon at the best location, right out of the cabin. Another interesting thing is that they have 3 dogs and one of the yellow dog is begging for food at any time. She goes through every campers "asking" for food. So much fun there.

Been going to Quiet Oaks Campground for the past six years to play at the Kettle Creek Music Festival which happens around the first week of August every year. And every year it just keeps getting better and better! Talk about CLEAN and WELL-MAINTAINED! Dave and Carla continue to improve on a good thing. Last year, they added solar heated showers for the festival. This year, I was delighted to see more permanent, propane heated showers - never ending hot showers! Whoo - hooo! The campsites are a mix of rustic and those with amenities like electric and water hookups suitable for tents to Winabagoes. People up there are just downright friendly, too! If you just want to get away from it all for a while and enjoy the peace and serenity, or whether you want to be entertained by some of the best music around, just choose your weekend accordingly. There are different events held at Quiet Oaks during the season, so check out their website for the schedule - You won't be disappointed! Tell Carla and Dave that "THE LEFT EDGE" sent you, LOL!ps... there's one note: there is no cell phone service - you will have to leave your work at the office! ENJOY!
