Update 3/30/24 to respond to Kightlinger's response:- I was not told it was unsafe to drive my vehicle. I returned to the service department to question why the estimate stated the vehicle should not be driven but that was not communicated to me and instead I was told to call when I made a decision about having the work completed.- Your service staff suggested having the compromised tire swapped out with the spare and asked me to have a seat.- Your service manager then told me he found the like new tires he could have placed on my vehicle after the mechanics had lunch and offered me a loaner, which I was accepted and was grateful for.- Explaining why the spare tire was not a feasible option was not explained to me on the day of my service, but on 3/26 when I received a phone call in response to my review.- I received the same written response to my review via email, before I spoke with your service manager on 3/26. Therefore, that makes your claim about the use of the spare being explained to me absolutely false at the time of writing. These inaccuracies further my lack of trust in your company's integrity.Original review:The cause of my worry was finally identified after being brushed off as a build up of ice and mud. However, when the solution was explained, no one told me it was best not to drive on the compromised tire, which I explained I was unfamiliar with and questioned. Not until I got into my vehicle to leave, was when I saw written on my quote it was advised not to drive. The staff said, "We have to put that there just in case something were to happen." Something as important as my family's safety should be just as important to your company as your attempt to release liability in the event of a devastating, avoidable, accident by claiming it was communicated on the written quote. Further, why was the spare not automatically put in the compromised tire's place? While my tires were replaced and I was given "a break on the labor and alignment" I am very disappointed and you've lost my trust.

I drove in from Illinois to purchase my truck here. Upon arriving, the truck had all accessories added, washed and ready to go . Can't thank Joe & Rory enough for the top-notch customer service!! I would highly recommend Kightlinger Motors to anyone looking at purchasing a vehicle!

I ordered a new truck. My sales representative Travis Brown was nothing short of amazing throughout the entire process. He kept me updated the entire time, was fair with my trade in and overall a great guy. The dealer was clean, well organized and put off that home town feel in which I loved. I even got to meet the owner! Thank you Kightlinger for the great experience!

Worst customer service ever. Bought a 2015 truck at the end of december. Couple weeks later started having problems. Truck has been in there shop for 2 weeks now, nobody returns my calls, nobody has told me what is wrong with it. I'm really disappointed. Spending 30k there was good for them. Guess next time I will buy from another dealer.ok this is how I got my truck back after 3 wks. Rim is faded from break dust big scratch dent across headlight n fender. Dent on cab corner. Muffler blowed out. It's time to talk to my lawyer. Service department thought it was a big joke.

Well I was having trouble getting my oil plug off to change my oil. The head of the plug was stripped and I didn't have alot of room to work underneath my car. So I send it into the shop. They got me an appointment for the next day wich was great. But then when I went to pick it up I was told that they couldn't get the plug off and that the plug and the oil pan was stripped. They wanted me to have them order and instal a whole new oil pan. This was going to cost upwards of 400$(mind you that I was providing the oil for the oil change)so I went home and jacked my car up so I had ample enough room to work. Within 5 minits and a little help from a pair of vice-grips I had gotten the plug off and replaced it with a plug from napa that cost me 8$Needless to say I won't be going back to this garage.

Service waso.k. paid by credit card as we had over a &700.00 b�ll they charged us &28.00 for using our credit card. Please customers be aware. Of this charge.I guess they don't want our business

Everything was super easy and straightforward. I went in knowing what I wanted, and the salesman was perfect. He promptly brought the car around, let us test drive it and look it over and he did not hover or push. Which is exactly what I want in a car buying situation. We came back, sat down ready to buy. The whole process was quick and efficient. The entire staff was kind and accommodating. They were cool with us having our 5 year old with us. The paperwork went well too, there weren't any hidden fees or any shady pricing. I've dealt with that before from other dealers and was thrilled to have such an honest team here :)

I was welcomed at the door. I did not have to stand there and wait for someone to come to me. I was greeted right away. The service was above and beyond any other dealership I have been to. There were 3 gentlemen trying to help make my experience pleasant. It definitely was. Great team work.

Had car there for repairs and inspection said needed all new brakes and rotors old brakes have 5 to 10 thousand of good pad on them one rotor was bad they are a rip off just padding there pockets with parts that are still good wouldn't take a bicycle to them never again

Our 26 foot U-Haul got horribly stuck at the cabin we were purchasing. To make matters worse, it was blocking the driveway with my car trapped behind it, leaving us in a panic as we had no way to get to the closing. AAA was no help, and another company was unable to tow a truck that size, but recommended we call Kightlinger. Kimberly was a saint in dealing with my frequent calls on the status of the tow truck, and the truck crew that helped us was fantastic. We were so stressed, but they joked our situation wasn't much of a challenge given what they usually deal with and had the truck free in less than 10 minutes. We managed to make it to the closing only 20 minutes late. A huge thank you to Kimberly and the tow truck crew - I hope we never need a tow again, but if we do, I know who we will call first!

Overall it was a very good experience. Chad Perkins was wonderful to deal with. I'm located about 3 hrs from the dealership and he worked with me to get the entire deal together prior to making the drive. There were no surprises. Everything was exactly as he promised. The dealership was very nice and clean with a friendly staff. The only minor complaint that I have is that the truck definitely could have been cleaned a little better, but other than that, I am very happy with the experience.

Would be nice if the price quoted online for an oil change was the price you were billed. Interesting how$63.95 turned into over$100. I could see maybe if you hadn't given the vehicle description but it's all right there in the reservation.

The service department was exceptional! We are a military family visiting the area for a few days before heading to our next assignment in Texas. The check engine light came on and the service department quickly diagnosed the vehicle and made the necessary repairs. A+++++

Pretty sad when you sell a truck for 38,000 to a 21 year old that does know any better. Hardly put any miles on the truck. To find out it will not pass inspection because the bed of the truck is rusted underneath and rockers need done. I guess a sucker is born every day. Sad.What. I don't get anything back from you guys. Everyone else gets a response.

This week I was traveling from MT to CT. I started having issues with my truck and trailer braking system. The parts department and Josh the service manager were a great help getting me back on the road again. Josh had a tech work my issue in between other jobs to trouble shoot my issue. We resolved the issue and I was able to get back on the road again with trailer brakes working and I arrived home late that night but safe. Thanks to Josh, parts department, and the ladies at the service desk for all your help this week. It was appreciated.

Me and my husband have bought our last 2 cars from here. We could not be happier. We worked with Travis and he got us in the car we wanted with a payment that worked for us. I recommend going here if you are looking to buy a new car.

Yes they paint matched but failed to correctly install wheel well completely a week and a half after getting it the replaced control arm needed RETORQUED two bolts were loose enough that I was able to hand tighten em yes so what I want my fiance and kids in danger from poor attention to what a job is

Sold my wife a car that had major damage to it that we weren't notified about. And has a rolled back odometer. KBB has the same make and model listed for 12,000 but hers books for 3,000

Visiting the area from Florida in our 28' RV, for dark sky starwatching. Steep mountain inclines proved too much for the serpentine belt at a very high elevation. Took hours to acquire a big rig tow down to Kightlinger Motors.From first point of phone contact through, estimate and repair... absolutely the kindest folks throughout. Should we need a vehicle in the future, we'd highly consider purchasing from this place,.. regardless of the drive to get here!

Our service experience was pretty good...except...our truck had another issue we were unaware of. We were sent home with a $300+ dollar bill, our check engine light was still on and our rear shock was removed. We were asked to bring it back after the other issue was repaired at a body shop. All in all though, Dave was awesome to work with.

Had roof airbags replaced for recall. When I picked up my truck the headliner had greasey hand prints on headliner and cut marks on my dash on both sides. Said they would replace it. That was 3 MONTHS ago. Still not done.

They were amazing when it came to purchasing my vehicle. I didn t have the best credit, but it also wasn t bad. And they got me a vehicle after my previous was totaled. So I m extremely thankful that I have reliable transportation again. So 5/5 for that. I would also like to add that the other 98% of calls & services, the customer service and service was excellent. But I ve contacted them multiple times about my airbag light. They called me back one time, called me Mr in a voicemail. I called back to get my appointment that I ve been waiting 3+ months for. They claim they ve called multiple numbers for me, but I only have one number. And I only have one account for them which has only that one number. They haven t called me back and my airbags don t work. It s a major safety hazard, I have two children. And I could lose my car insurance. Not to mention what would happen if I ever got in an accident (praying I don t ever again).

A one-time customer received excellent service from a great family business like they were a long-time regular.I had a fantastic experience with Kightlinger Motors team in Coudersport. I am not local to the area and was on a road trip when my car broke down. My car was towed in for service and I arrived without an appointment. I was taken care of as promptly as possible and was able to get news about my car before the end of the day. They explained to me what was wrong and were very friendly and patient with my questions. Their answers and advice were both helpful and honest. Due to the extent of the problems, my road trip was over. I would have liked to have their service department fix the problem, but the repair would take considerable time and I felt more comfortable if I were able to do that closer to home. They understood completely and managed to arrange a tow truck to take my car back home for a very fair price and within a short amount of time. Thanks again to Kightlinger Motors!
