These guys know exactly what they're doing. I don't get how people complain about pricing But stop putting Band-Aids on things that need stitches. These guys have always been upfront and honest with me the past five times I've been down there..I believed a buddy who told me he could put on brakes but when he put the brakes on all I heard was a loud screeching.Upon taking it in These guys also noticed some major wear tear on the inside of my tires and that my rear brakes were next to go. Long story short I got four brand new tires rear brakes and the adjustment and alignment name balancing at a very great price They did not even charge me for the labor except one hour on the rear..Please be patient .. I usually just drop my truck off at the end of my day and the very next morningI will get a call let me know what needs to be done and usually we'll be done in the next day. So kudos to ProTech

Hello , I m a Canadian and was visiting the Us on holiday. Everything was amazing except I got a flat tire Thursday Oct 26 at 6 am. I was on the highway and got off and asked a few guys if there was a place close to help me. They suggested you guys. So I made my way to your shop and was waiting outside until 8 am when you opened. I met the store opener before he unlocked the door and explained my problem. I had a leak and was at like 15 psi and needed help. He told me there was nothing he could do until late that afternoon. I explained that we were on a schedule and needed to be back to Canada sooner then later. He didn t care and told me he fixed Amazon vehicles first and I wasnt a priority., I asked if he could recommend another company close as I wasn t really sure where we were. He told me to google local companies. The guy wasn t helpful at all or nor did he care to help us in a stranded situation. I found a local company right behind you who helped us immediately H & W auto and truck repair fixed us immediately and sent us on our way. The gentlemen you have opening your store shouldn t be dealing with the public. He was un sympathetic to our problem and didnt care to guide us to a local repair shop. Thanks for nothing pro teck. Give your head a shake whoever I dealt with at your store.Mike

I walked into this place to inquire about something. I am a very easy-going person so I was taken back by their horrible customer service. They had attitude and tone and acted like you were bothering them. Maybe they should hire someone to handle the customer service. I would never take my car there.

Excellent service! I wasn't satisfied with the service I was getting at the dealership, so I came here. What I thought was going to be an expensive issue with my tire was actually an issue with the tire pressure sensor. The tech was very knowledgeable and helpful. Simple recalibration and I was on my way. Good customer care is so refreshing, and I will be back when I do need new tires or any other services I might need.

While driving through the wonderful downtown of Coraopolis, my SUV happened to catch the large metal hook of a bungee cord that some kind soul left in the middle of the road. No AAA, and 20ish minutes from home, I limped the car over to Protech to see if they could help.1 hour and $27 later, I was back on the road with a proper patch. I appreciate the speed, fair price, and honest willingness to help an unscheduled customer.

This place is sucks don't waste your time at this place, I took my 2019 nissan versa there, the problem with the car was whenever I use my AC it would make squeaking sounds and whenever I accelerate it would squeak as well, instead of changing the belts they told me that the belt were looking ok and they don't see any problem with it which make no sense because it wasn't squeaking before, and also I told them about a bucking feeling that happens from time to time when driving, and instead of driving the car a little longer to see the problem they don't, then they said I should take the car to a different shop, so I take my car to a different auto shop and in less than 5 hours they call me back and said my pully belt was really bad and they have already change it and there is no squeaking, they solve my problem the same problem that protect auto could not solve, because they're just not good don't waste your time and money at this place, this place is a joke

My brakes were making a loud grinding noise. After they did an inspection, the mechanic at Protech in Coraopolis told me that I didn't need brakes. I was confused because the noise coming from my brakes was extremely loud. I decided to take it to another garage, and I was told that I needed a wheel alignment, tire rods and struts. The protech in Coraopolis put back brakes, rotors, and new tires on my car a couple of months ago, now I'm wondering how they missed all this. I will never use them again. So disappointed.

They are very deceptive.Be sure to read the fine print on your ticket from them.I failed my inspection and they wanted over $1000 to fix it. I took it elsewhere and got it all done for under $500.Then they charged me another $50+ for reinspection to get my sticker.I think that's only because I didn't let them gouge me and took it elsewhere for reasonable priced repairs.I would also not recommend females going there. I think they prey on that as well.Well this woman knew what they were up to.I will NEVER go back there.Manager is extremely rude.He never spoke of the extra charge but tried to play it off like he did.Just kept pointing to their "fine print".I will definitely spread my word of mouth about this place. Disgusted.

This place is deceptive, and terrible. I took my car here when it was having an issue with the battery, and computer. They told me they would have it running in no time. I went back a few days later to get some of my things out of my car, turned the key, and it still had some juice. A few days later a guy from the store called my mom, and offered her $500 for the car instead of fixing it. That was not an option considering the fact we had paid $2000 for it only a few months prior. After she said she wasn't interested we got a call a few days later telling us there was nothing they could do to fix it, and to come get it. I went to pick it up, and my car made no noise at all. I ended up paying a tow truck driver to get it to my house. Bottom line is these guys are terrible hacks, and will try to take your car at a cheap hit.

I initially called to see if they could fit me without an appointment after telling them my problem, I was told sure, and asked when I would be there. I was greeted with a smile and welcomed; provided some information and explained my problem. The waiting area is clean and neat. Ample seating, TV and magazines, hydration centers and media room. Displays that inform you of options, sales and the breath of their expertise. Before I finished couple pages of magazine, he was able to discuss the problem, while listening to my in put and provided a fix. I agreed and less than 10 minutes I was out the door. The very best part of my experience, Free of charge. This act of kindness shows his passion and compassion. He's now my new machanic.

I thought customer service was dead until I stopped in here this morning for a pretty basic tire issue. After trying another well known brand up the street on University Blvd where I waited an hour and left with the same issue, I decided to give these folks a try. James, the store's manager, really made my issue a simple "we'll take care of it, and get you on your way". Can't recommend these folks more. A+++

Went in t get some work done on my van. The guys there were super helpful and friendly. They made sure to explain what needed done and why. Overall would highly recommend this garage!

I went there for investigation of squeaky front end. After a couple of hours, I was told that the upper & lower control arms/ball joints would have to be replaced as well as back drum brakes were broken--pieces rattling around inside the wheel well. The verbal estimate would be >$1500 for everything. I was even shown a picture of my drum brakes in disarray from the clerk's phone but I was so distraught that I did not notice the absence of my chrome wheels in the picture. So I took my keys and went to another shop, absolutely nothing wrong with my vehicle with the exception of weather-worn grommets on my ten year old vehicle. Stay away if you are a female.

Went to get my car inspected and came out with it would fail becase of stuff that doesn't apply to state inspection. Adam also had a greedy look to his face. Seriously i don't trust this group compared to the last time i was there.

Twas a beautiful day to visit. My my, it was bitter kold, an icey wintery day unfit for a brisk walk. I droppped off my van as no other place would have the means to konduct a gastric emission quiz for the lykes of my vehicle and then I took an agonizing stroll. It felt like a mile before reaching the destination I chose to partake in my early morning breakfast. When my vehicle was tidied up, I received a ring and was off to the blistering klimate to retrieve my automobile.

Very professional service. If you get Zachary Davis, he will give you a detailed explanation as to what is wrong with your vehicle. Would recommend to a friend.

5 Stars for customer service - my inspection was up and stopped at several other places before finding these guys. Thanks to Mike at the front desk for making room in the schedule! They had my car inspected in a few hours.

Avoid at all costs! Not only was service absolutely terrible, but after their payment system went down, they harassed me by calling every 5 mins. Then hilariously tried to get the police department involved. Terrible all around
