I've been taking my car here for anything it has ever needed (Inspections, brakes, etc) and have gotten nothing but the best treatment and results here. The work is always done fast and extremely well.

I highly recommend them for all your car needs! I have taken both our vehicles here and I ve been very impressed. We saved HUNDREDS switching from a big name company and I m so glad we did. They re friendly, efficient, and great at explaining things along the way. I m glad I read the reviews since they don t take cards. They call me with what the cost is and what s included so I take a check when I pick up my vehicle. They ve repaired, inspected, changed oil, tires, etc. I wish I had come to them sooner! It is SO NICE to have someone that you can trust. Not to mention the fact that their work is outstanding, as my 2002 Toyota can testify to. They've got me for life! (or until retired as my previous service provider did ) But I'm back on track !!! Thanks Symons! Seriously.

Great place to have your car serviced and repaired at very reasonable cost. Very friendly, helpful and trustworthy mechanics performing quality work. Had my four family cars serviced there for more than 12 years.They even found out about a voluntary recall for our Toyota that the dealership had overlooked. This ended up getting us a new engine block for free!

I didn t think honest auto repair shops existed until I found this shop. I m a mechanic myself, and have much experience with auto shops and the terrible, underhanded things they do to swindle money from their customers. You won t find that here. They will tell you what s wrong with your vehicle, and fix it, period. I just sent a family member there cause they thought they had a differential leak. She got a call back saying no leak. Just some dirty water that had gotten under there and was dripping down, that resembled oil. Any other shop I ve dealt with would have taken advantage of this scenario, including my last employer, who was just as crooked as the rest of them. Not Symons. My family has been using them for years, and this type of honest and fair treatment has always been the case with Symons. Simon's garage is a great place to take your car for minor or major repairs I had a metal brake line that needed replaced and they were able to do it very quickly and efficiently for $84 and change including three quarters of an hour of labor to replace the line and bleed the whole brake system and parts you can't beat that! cars back to normal and my brake pedal is more solid than ever! Highly recommended

I merely went 2 pay a bill 4 my daughter and son-in-law. The place is neat 4 a garage and I had no trouble parking or getting in and out of the place. Mechanic/owner kept me waiting a very long time while he engaged in a telephone conversation that didn't appear to require his immediate and prolonged attention. Another customer came in while I was waiting but her wait was not as onerous. Maybe good prices and mechanics at this service station but customer service appears to B lacking.

Had my truck inspected here at Symons for the first time. I was pleasantly surprised with with how well everything went! They were able to get me in quickly and theit prices were very fair.

Since I moved into my current home over 20 years ago, I have used Symons for vehicle inspection and for work that was more complicated and time consuming that I could handle. Symons has always honest and flexible with fair prices. I highly recommend them.

Literally the most trustworthy and honest mechanic you will ever find. If your car doesn't need something, but it could be done he will tell you. He will tell you how and what to maintanence needs to be done to get the most miles out of your car. With his help, my 20 year old Astro Van got up to 215 thousand miles and would have gone for much more had I not scrapped it and got a new car.An example of their honesty: My van leaked oil. I noticed it when it was parked in the garage and left an oil stain on the floor. I took it to him to get it fixed, and he told me not to bother. Instead of charging me to get it fixed he told me that if I just added a quart of oil every month or so it would be fine. He explained that a quart of oil costs five bucks, which would be sixty dollars a year so unless I was going to expect the car to last over 6 more years not to bother getting the leak fixed. That's a great mechanic. I'd suggest you go there before he retires (which probably is coming up soonish).Oh, and did I mention he has a doctorate. He bought the shop because his father was retiring and he didn't want it to shut down.

The employees are very nice and the work they do is good and the prices are good compare to other places. They call you before they do any work on your vehicle and tell you the problem and the amount it might be. Have been going there for 16 yrs and haven't had a problem with them.

Been using them for 17 years. Always do what they can to do what you need. Small place, so plan accordingly, don't expect instant work as every job is done with the same level of care and might take more time than expected. You can always be sure you got a fair price and a job well done.

Spoke with the front desk when I had a flat tire and he bent over backwards to get me right in and do what he could do to fix my repair. The only reason I'm giving 4 stars instesd of 5 here is because no one told me in advance that I would have to be paying in either cash or a check. Then when I found this out the gentleman told me that they have NEVER accepted a debit/credit card as the fees are too expensive. I too am a small business owner myself and all we do is accept debit/credit cards and the fees are minimal for the expense and less hassle of having to deal with bounced checks.

Will probably go back. Just a few notes:. The parts mark up was about 50 percent which is quite a bit lower than other independent garages. But seriously? Cash or check only? Also they charged extra to diagnose problem (alternator) and when I finally figured out how to turn credit to cash they still left me with that bill attached. That made the total on the higher side of midline for private garage. The shop is clean and the owner knowledgeable. Soo if I tally the weighted scores on these stand out items....I get 3.7. Hence the 4 stars

I have been taking my vehicles to Symons for over 15 years and have never had a problem. Work has always been done in a timely manner at a very competitive price.

We've been going to Symons for at least 15 years. Absolutely trustworthy, careful about costs, work done on time. It's sometimes a nuisance he isn't open on Saturdays (which is why I give 4 stars rather than 5).

It's the only garage I use. Customer service is great. I always get appt convenient for me. Prices are reasonable compared to big dealerships.

NEVER AGAIN will I bring any of my vehicles to this place!!!!They replaced my front brakes with a "brake kit" that cost over $300. Brought it back due to a burring smell & loud squealing noise from the new brakes. They packed the new brakes with MOLY GREASE and now the entire car smells like grease.

Since Symons was recommended to me I've stopped going to my dealership, very friendly and knowledgeable staff and they charge much less than dealerships for repair work.

They're the only place close that does motorcycle inspections. Great group of techs there. In and out very quickly.
