Imagine a stereotypical used car lot, many options available if you re looking for a beater. Before you go to look for a car, remember to bring a list of items to look for in terms of maintenance. When purchasing the car, I noticed the belts were dry rotted and the tires were bald. While I was impressed with their negotiations, as they offered to replace the tires and belts for free.Just to note, even though they offered to replace the tires, they explained that their tire machine broke and we wouldn t be able to get the tires out in from them for a month and a half. I do not feel they re being entirely truthful here as we were there less than 4 days prior and no issues were noted. Again, I could be wrong but based on the interactions with staff, I m not too hopeful. Finally, if you are a woman that is not outspoken, I would highly recommend bringing a male figure to assist with negotiations. For example, the woman man next to me while purchasing a vehicle was being spoken down to and the disrespect she was receiving was evident, as her husband appeared infuriated by the way she was being spoken to. As for myself, I did my research and attempted to further knock the cost down. The gentleman who sold the car tried to say he would take off $250 documentation fee if I were to pay for the tires. Common sense says wasn t going to accept that offer, but here we are still paying for labor for tires.Again, if you re looking to purchase a car quickly and are aware that there will be issues with the car more than likely, this is the place for you. Main areas of concern were the sexism observed and the requirement to pay for someone to service my new tires that was unexpected.

Rob is a great guy! We bought a car from him at a good price and also take other vehicles here for repair. Very trustworthy and we will be happy to continue going to Rob's shop for our future car needs!

TAKE ROB'S OWN ADVICE. BUY A NEW CAR BEFORE GOING TO HIS S*#T SHOW.I bought a car from Rob's Auto for $3,400. The car broke down after I put 1,900 additional miles on it. I later found out from -in my opinion- more reputable dealers that the retail price for a 2003 Taurus with 89,000 miles on it, is worth a retail value of $900. In my opinion, the more reputable car salesmen from several other places told me I should have paid at most $1,700 as long as there are not any major issues (see below). Obviously I don't know much about cars, but a PERSON who I thought I could believe in, told me Rob is a "good friend" and I will get a "great deal."The "great deal" never came. Rob claimed he checked under the hood and put it on the lift to "make sure" or whatever line he fed me- there was nothing wrong with the car. In my opinion, Rob might be a horrible mechanic, b/c here is what I can verify was wrong with the car after his claimed inspection: cracked gaskets ($500); the reason why I smelled burning oil after the first five minutes of driving, rotted spark plugs and wires ($250); the reason why the car broke down after just 1,900 miles and had trouble picking up speed, gas filter ($100): one of the reasons why the car only got 13 miles to the gallon (see spark plugs), filthy power steering fluid ($100) the reason why the steering wheel crunches during tight turns, filthy brake fluid ($100) the reason why breaks crunch during hard stops. Plus all (a lot) the small stuff.CURIOUS THING?Rob told me he was going to check under the hood and put the car up on the lift to make sure it's "all good" before he sold it to me, then My question to Rob is, "shouldn't he have done this before he bought the car?" Didn't Rob' want to know what is WRONG with the car before he sold it to a "friend"? Did he just take the persons words for it? Is Rob an IDIOT? AM I AN IDIOT? DO ONLY IDIOTS BUY FROM ROB'S AUTO?I guess the "mechanics" at Rob's Auto never put the car up to 70 mph. This is when the car begins to shake and you don't dare to go any faster. This is his best deal on Rob's lot. REMEMBER I'M A "FRIEND".The car broke down after I put 1,900 additional miles on it. I called Rob with the list of things he "missed" while "checking" under the hood. He yelled at me, "well it drove nice and passed inspection and that is all I needed to do. If you don't like it you should have bought a new car!" Really? It drove nice? See above for all the reasons I don't believe him. When you are poor, broke and desperate and 45 and still need money from your parents you go to Rob's Auto.OR TAKE ROB'S OWN ADVICE. BUY A NEW CAR BEFORE GOING TO HIS S*#T SHOW.

Bought a car a little under a year ago and already had to put 2,000$ into repairs. Car worked amazing for the first few months but the tire rod was rusted away (mavis tire even wondered how this car passed inspection last year because of how bad some of the parts looked) as well as tires leaking air due to rusted valves that needed to be replaced. Also needed a new battery, brake pad was completely worn down, and the brakes completely stopped working one day and the brake pedal locked down in place. Luckily we avoided an accident but had to use the parking brake to stop the car. Now the back brake lights are out and now I m being told the tires need to be rotated and realigned. I mean come on you shouldn t have this many issues only a year in.. seems at this rate I should just get another car for how much I m putting into this one. Go somewhere else to buy a used car unless you wanna risk paying thousands of dollars in repairs.

They need to hire someone who knows how to use a camera. The person who has taken the photos of the cars for sale is a complete joke.

Wasn't very impressed with Rob's. I spoke with Rob about a car he had and he was to call me when it was ready to be put up for sale. That call never came. Not very professional in my opinion.
