Just had my battery replaced at the Columbia, Pa store. Wayne and Jacob made it incredibly easy to get me on the road again. They were quick to assist me by testing my old battery (battery tester is right up front where everyone can see the results in real time), found me the right battery, and even took off the nice handle of the old battery and I installed it on the new one. These guys at this particular store are always incredible! Go see them!

Put a new battery my car this summer. It's been going dead. Was already at my local garage. They told me battery was shot. So I went to advance today. Were battery was bought from in August. Guy checked it said it was good. I told him it wasn't. Wouldn't help me out at all! Drove back to my local garage. He checked it again. Was bad. So I had to put a $134 new battery in. Oh and also it was the wrong battery to be in the car. Now car is fine. Do not go there for car batteries. They have no idea what they are doing and they won't warranty the junk they sell you. Very disappointed in the service.

These people are savage. I'm not from the area and didn't get a warm welcome. Advanced auto, autozone, carry garbage parts tools and attitude. Never again.

I walk in with a good Dayco part number. They tell me that it is a good number but they can not get it. I'm only going to deal with locally owned and operated places. The employees are more knowledgeable and more helpful.

I had my service engine light come on Wednesday on the way home from work. I was in Columbia to do grocery shopping for my brother today (Friday) & decided to stop in to see if they could tell me what it was. Just so happens, this very nice young man overheard & said it was an easy fix. So I bought the part & he changed it right in the parking lot. His name is Anthony & I hope he knows how much it means to me that he helped me like that. He works at Advance Auto & I hope you all know what a great guy you have working for you.

Sat, Jan 21st, I had car trouble and was driving from out of state. I cannot say how much the manager and customer service people went out of their way to make sure our car was working and we could return home to Maryland.These people are what make a company stand out from the rest of the competition. Care for the customer. Advanced Auto should be proud to have them as employees and representing their company. They were amazing and we were so grateful.

Bought Power Steering fluid but my car doesn't use any. Returned it for me right away full refund, very helpful. I felt very dumb.

I was a employee there and the manager jim and district manager mark stick together ...had a customer flip out on me and jim the manager of the store didn t intervene like he should have ....I left that day and called the district manager and told him everything about Jim and the problems I had only for him to call me back and say that they accept my resignation....I worked there for almost 4 years and built a very good customer base and my sales there were one of the best ...I had a lot of repeat customers...the manager of that store is late all the time and don t do his job ...I did his job more then he did his own job .....nobody wants to work for him ...and don t call HR for any problems because they don t care and the district manager protects him....the manager also talks about people and makes fun of them or makes sexual references when women leave the store ...when I brought these issues up to HR they didn t do anything because the manager is protected ...that store isn t what it was and I m glad to be gone and not deal with any of that stuff anymore

The people who work there are very helpful. Will take the time to explain something and will come out to the car iffin you have questions about something specific.

I bought a turbo vgt sensor from them online. I brought the part home and it dose not work. I try to return it to get another one somewhere else they will not return it. I will never do business with a company who will not return a defective part. And no I don't want to swap it out anf go threw the same stuff again I wanted my money back and they did not and will not give it back. They lost me as a customer for life.
