.. daughters car got towed to this lot on aug 24 would not start . On aug 28 she realize that she didn t have a her wallet (passport, bank card , I d , ect ) she goes to call them they tell her go head to your car it s unlocked when getting to her car she notice it was broke into and everything was missing . Talk to the wife of the owner she for sure it was never broken into but she will have the owner look at Cameras and will get back to me (still no call) . TODAY she goes up there to double check.. now today the find someone sleeping in the car and tell her that she needs to call cops because other cars have been broken into over weekend and now they not responsible for my daughters car and cancel my contact after we had words and made me get it towed off the lot by time they close or they was getting it towed to a yard and I would have to pay the fees for them to get my car back . No one wants to talk to me about it. Not even owner n said I m never allowed on their Property again

My car was making a lot of noise so I took it to this lightning auto service. They told me that I needed anew motor. So they arranged the price for me. I spent over a thousand dollars for that motor. After they put the motor in my car they told me to pick it. When I got there, there was no fluid in it and the car was still making a loud noise. No fluid in it and whenever I told them it seemed like they didn't care at all. This place is bad place for people to bring their cars for service. I will never go back to them and I will never recommend anyone to this Auto Service.

I'm glad that I waited to make this review. When I first made contact they seemed to be helpful and looking out for me. My clutch was out and my mechanic stopped helping me so I had parts and needed a mechanic. I walked around Coatesville and finally they were willing to help me. They even gave me a discount. When I thought the work would be done I was told that there was another part of the clutch that needed replaced. I ordered the part and the day it arrived they had my car ready. I picked it up 30 minutes before close. I went to drive away but the clutch was very hard to work with and my car stalled. I was having trouble with the clutch but the battery was dead. I thought the battery was dead because it had sat for such a long time, I asked the mechanic what to do and he told me he would put it on his charger and to drive to a parking lot and sit for 30 minutes. He drove it over because I could not work with the clutch. The shop closed and 35 minutes later I attempted to drive away. The clutch was very hard to handle and I was able to make it around the block but that was it. The car stalled and the battery died. My brother came and told me I needed to purchase a new battery. I should not have left the shop without being told I needed a new battery if you ask me. A month later my car starts acting crazy, I call a friend who is a mechanic and he tells me to take it back to them. I do, they tell me it's the master and slave cylinder without even opening my hood. I ask how he knows, he opens the hood and shows me. I leave and talk to the mechanic friend who says they should have told me that when they did the clutch. He told me they should not charge me to take the transmission out again. I talked with them and they refused to work with me and lied to me about their responsibility and what they told me. I just walked away. I wouldn't recommend them at all.

I've been to Lightning Auto on a few occasions and I have never met a better group of people. Great folk that go above and beyond. They are a priceless resource in this dog eat dog world.

Timing chain replaced. Found is was not needed and they used sprayed adhesive when the chain was replaced. Spending more to fix it correctly.

Love this garage ! I just moved to the area & two times now they have gotten me in right away .. they did GREAT work each time ! A rear shock & a power steering pump pulley going back tomorrow for inspection
