I took my car for inspection. I had to replace a tail light. No biggie, but when I took it back to have them slap on the stickers, they tried to charge me a lift fee . I asked why they had to put it on the lift to see my tail light. The lady at the desk said they didn t put it on the lift. I said- then I m not paying this $&@$$ fee. They still gave me a hard time, but in the end I walked out with my stickers and didn t pay their lift fee. What a joke- are you THAT HARD UP FOR MONEY?! Go ANYWHERE ELSE!!!!!No, this was not super recent, but definitely the right place. Nickle and dime for nothing that s why I haven t brought any of my vehicles anywhere near your shop, and everyone should do the same. People don t forget being treated that way, so maybe watch who you try to rip off.

Do not fall for coolant flush and fuel system cleaning unless car is actually experiencing faults related to coolant or injectors ! Then reconsider these warnings anyway My car was not in for anything remotely related to those systems. Maybe They just wanted to squeeze me for 500$ of charges to pay for garage lunchtime catering Please Advise:The 200$ coolant flush is a blanket nickel n dime charge they tried to push on me, but my radiator had just been replaced 2 weeks prior and the coolant was all fresh. So that was a lie to tell me it needed a flush/cleaning.The 250$ fuel system cleaning was another blanket nickle and dime charge that they pushed, but they absolutely did not check my injectors as that would involve taking some actual work, like 15 min, to get to them in the back of my engine bay, which I HIGHLY doubt they do any investigative removal of fuel system components to inspect. So that was a lie to tell me injectors are nearly clogged . Update/ Upon inspection at home I saw no evidence of them removing the covers involved to get to the injector rail. Sketchy

After many different bad experiences at other mechanics including a dealership which failed to properly diagnose and fix my vehicle Arty's caught what the dealership missed and fixed at a cheaper price. Every time I have taken a vehicle to Art's shop it has been a great experience. I won't take my vehicle's to any other shop. Hands down the best mechanic in the area. Your for sure in good hands at this place. Great pricing. Fast and efficient work. Most of all they get the job done right. Can't say enough good things about Arty's.

Over charged for a tire for the tire to have a slow leak. Was told 1 price for a tire & was charged double the price! They're not up front about things

I had a complete tune up on my mustang gt500. They did quality work,and the car was nice and clean when I picked it back up. The prices that were quoted to me were very accurate. I would not recommend this shop at all, example of a shop taking advantage of someone who doesn t know anything about cars.. one of the service done was a coolant flush yet the same old factory coolant is sitting in the overflow tank..Service: General repairs & maintenanceService: General repairs & maintenance

Arty is awesome! I wanted a second opinion when I was told I had an exhaust leak. Found out the other shop that did my spark plugs and cleaned my fuel system didn't close the air filter box correctly and had a hose detached and that's why my car sounded the way it did! I spent many sleepless nights wondering how I was going to pay for an exhaust system and here it was a quick fix! You have my service for now on! Thanks so much!

Our car overheated an hour from our home and we had to get it towed to a mechanic. AAA wanted to take it to a place that had not-so-good reviews, and I had them instead take the car to Arty's. (Based solely on reviews as we are not from the area.)Not only did they fix what needed fixed so that we were back on the road with the car the next day, but they also figured out that the previous work that was done for the car was the fault of this overheating issue, and Arty was willing to talk with the other repair shop, told them what was wrong, and we ended up getting the cost covered by them.Arty and the team seems to do solid work and they are just honest people, which is what I like to see in a mechanic. Thank you all, definitely recommend you!

My car had a misfire 2/27 and Artys Auto was able to get my car in and out the next day! I had an general idea what was wrong, and the price Arty charged was in the same ballpark as to what I researched it would cost. He did mention some other things that needed to be done with my car, but did not try to sell my any additional service, just made me aware and gave me quotes for them. Also they have a shuttle service, which is nice!Services: General repairs & maintenance, Engine repair

Arty and his crew are fantastic! Everyone is polite, takes the time to explain things and delivers great work. I had my vehicle with Arty for a coolant leak in addition to another issue... Arty was fair with pricing and made sure my vehicle was 100% good to go before it left his shop. Artys is great. So convenient. Their technicians are very well trained and knowledgeable. Arty is always available to talk to you and explains everything that was done and also recommends service that may be needed. Easy to get appointments and is available in emergency situations. In almost 24 years I ve finally found a mechanic I trust and who will not steer me wrong. The prices are fair and the work done is always done right! The two things i absolutely love is that art is called out to tell you everything that was done and to go over everything that you should think about doing down the road. Also they give you the service record of everything that has been done to the car from day 1! I ll always be a costumer!

I have been to Art s before and I keep coming back because they are professional, timely in fixing my car and keep me informed before during and after any repairs. From the receptionist to the mechanics everyone is friendly and knowledgeable about their job. I especially appreciate the fact that the boss always comes to the front to review everything that was done and makes recommendations for future services! Artie will tell you exactly what needs to be done to keep your car healthy and when it needs to be done. He tells you what is critical, what needs to be done in the next few months before things become a bigger problem and what can wait.He also provides a written estimate of what needs to be done down the road.Artie also provides the personal touch by over everything that was done and needs to be done when you pickup your vehicle.

Had my car towed there for an estimate for a blown engine, was expecting to pay thousands but they found out my engine was covered under a recall Through the Hyundai dealership. This is the best mechanic I ve ever been to. They are knowledgeable, honest, and the repairs have always been done in a timely manner. * This is my very 1ST experience and so far I have encountered GENUINE FOLKS* The very 1st thing that caught my eye was Arty has this little setup in the corner for when children comes in with their parents. This is RARE to see a setup for kids at a car repair shop! Also, it seems like Arty is a family oriented man & I just adore the pictures he has up of his precious children. I have six children of my own so I respect a man that cherishes his family. The receptionist Laura is Amazing! She isVery Polite, Professional & Patient. Everyone Appreciates Excellent Customer Services! So, Thank You Laura & I truly appreciate your positive energy! The young gentleman Joseph is inspiring!He was generous enough to drive me back home & we briefly chatted about his passion in auto mechanic and how Arty is helping him reach his potential goal in life. He gave me a little background on Arty & he spoke highly of him. He mentioned that he looks up to Arty because he doesn't just care about money. He actually cares about people being safe driving their vehicles. So, although this is my first time bringing my car to Arty's place but just the atmosphere and the positive energy is enough to gain my attention! Although, I keep seeing poor reviews about overpriced services but also from my perspective it seems that these people with the bad reviews just have negative energy & see things as "the cup half empty" {Just my personal opinion} Just remember ~ It speaks volume when employees speaks highly of their boss! Now, I'm praying & hoping on how the services + reasonable pricing goes then I will consider making Arty's place my regular routine car shop! Needed a tire plugged quickly and Arty's promptly provided the service at a reasonable cost. The staff are friendly and professional. My daughter has used Arty's for several years and they have always been reasonable and reliable.

I recently moved from FL. To PA. and I was looking for a place to take care of my cars. I found this on Google. Read the reviews and seemed nice. I contacted other places as well but no luck. Then I contacted Artys Shop. And they treated me with respect and were so friendly. They did the work very well and it s a place I will recommend to everyone. I m definitely want to have more business with you. And you will see me back. Great work.

Probably have dropped an arm and a leg at this place, but that s what it costs to take care of your cars. I really like how thorough they. Art really tries to give you as many options and scenarios that fit within your budget, but also makes sense for your car and safety. Never pressures you into any additional expenses like most places do. Also very quick! Never go a day without my car. We recently moved in the area in March and have been using them ever since. Our experience at Arty's Auto Service was excellent. Arty the owner couldn't have been nicer. He explained everything we needed and the service was the best we have ever experienced. Everyone at Arty's was equally knowledgeable and friendly. They picked me up at my house. I didn't even ask them to, they offered. Where else do you get that kind of service. We just moved here from Columbus, Ohio and are thankful we have found a service that is honest, timely and friendly. We are customer's forever. Thank you so much Arty.

My wife and I recently moved to the Coatesville area and have had no one other than Arty's work on our vehicles. Prices are competitive, Arty is an honest man and his staff is courteous all while doing quality work. If you live in Chester County, bring your ride to Arty. You will not be let down!

Do not trust them they are an overpriced shop.I ended up paying an extra $40 per tire over what I could get the same tire with a road hazard for nationwide warranty. Don'you canf get that nationwide warranty there. I had him do a caliper repair which in turn he sold me a new caliper that I didn't need. Rates are comparable to that of a large city about 35% too high for the area that hes in.In my opinion I would avoid this shop for a more qualified shop.Services: Tires, Auto brake repair, Brake service & repair
