I had an incredible first-experience at Bud's today. I was experiencing starter issues on my new-to-me vehicle since yesterday and was unable to get it inspected early this morning. The inspection shop suggested I take it to Bud's and maybe they'd have a solution. I explained the issue, Gregg walked out to my vehicle to check it out, and almost immediately knew he could fix it. Several hours later I was called by Gregg with good news: the starter was fixed!We'll be back again next time we have electrical issues!

I would recommend Buds to everyone I know. Affordable and fast repairs, they completely rebuilt my alternator and the craftsman ship put into it was nice it looked brand new when I picked it up. Great place. So glad there is a reputable, experienced, high quality place like bud's electric. A literal hidden treasure in a world of disposable, low skilled, fast food like auto parts stores. As long as they are opened, I'll be taking my starters and alternators to Buds Electric

Everytime I come here I get great service and the guys are pretty fast too unless you gotta get parts ordered but even then it only takes them 1 extra day. I always bring my starters here to be rebuilt or the brushes cleaned and ive never had a single problem. Nice to have busniess like this one around. They do their job and do it very well.

The superior customer service and quality products and repair services here has not changed for half a century.For batteries, alternators, starters or any kind of electrical problems.... plus heavy duty industrial applications also, there's no better place to go within at least a hundred mile radius or more. Don't waste your time or money going anywhere else.

Needed a special alternator these people were able to locate one and the price was very reasonable and they shipped it directly to us. They will have our business for sure!!

SO DISAPPOINTED!!!I EXPECTMORE FROM A PLACE WITH SUCH A HIGH RATING.I always try to shop local first.I was treated like i was inferior and my money was no good.I won't be back,If somenone is paying you to do a job whats the difference the money is all the sameEvery other job that needed done was given priority before mine even though i had approached shop about my simple need. just kept getting the blow off.Have had good luck here before.I stopped in and asked to have three wires checked to see if they were broken and or if clip attaching them to the harness in my car could have been broken. Didn't need an engine diagnosis or anything. just needed three simple wires checked so i could perform proper repair, or buds could do the repair. Either way . Unreapaired will cost me hundreds in damage would rather spend couple hundred preventing damage. I will take my vehicle to Philadelphia where there are repair shops with mechanics who can do the work. They will be happy that I considered them to bring my work to. I'll end up spending $600 or $700 either way for a fifteen minute job.kinda like clearfield hospital. i'll drive to altoona first where i trust the service.

The owner, Bud, and his son's Greg and Chris and fantastic. Greg knows a lot about Chevy 454's. The guys found out my newly replaced alternator wasn't built correctly and they had to rebuild it. They saw the wrong size belt was also put on wrong and fixed that. And that a wire harness was rubbing against the alternator and that my RV was ready to go up in flames right soon so they properly fixed that. And Greg told me that my RV smelled like gas because the smog pump was removed. Finally a mechanic that knew only from description and the other 2 guys looked and Greg was right. And they are 1/2 the price of the previous 5 shops we have used. Thanks Bud's! Spirit and Kaiya, The Wandering Gypsies

I've been dealing with Bud's electric until 16 years old back in the middle 60s there's no place better to go for electrical service or for fantastic treatment they know how to treat their customers

Last year they fixed my camper jack that everyone was saying was going to cost me hundreds of dollars the fixed it and it still going strong a year later .. cost under 80 dollars... These guys know there stuff .. Thanks guys.. Got you a new project soon ..
