I would give zero stars if I could. I used to take all my vehicles here, last year I took my new car there for a routine oil change. It definitely wasn't the type of experience I was used to. I felt rushed and they didn't even check everything that they usually do during an oil change. A couple weeks later the whole inside of my car started to fill with smoke with my children in the car & then my check engine light came on. I dropped my kids off & immediately called Chrysler & took it to be looked at. Turns out it was the oil filter housing that needed to be fixed, they quoted me $900. I'm a single mom & couldn't afford that at the time. I have been driving it like this, constantly checking my oil & adding more when I need to. I have a close friend that is a mechanic & he agreed to fix it. Upon taking things apart he noticed that my idle air temp sensor was unplugged & the clamp on the intake to the throttle body was barely even tightened!! I'm beyond furious! I encourage everyone to stay away from this place!

The representative was very friendly; however, I m a bit disappointed they didn t do their usual inspection. Every visit I make is usually at the Wilkes-Barre location, and they always inspect my vehicle thoroughly. At this location, they changed my oil and that was it. Even on the receipt it was noted that they did not check anything besides the oil. I felt a bit rushed, as I also wanted my tires rotated, but never had the chance to ask.

Very quick, convenient service from nice staff. You pay for the convenience though at $100 for full synthetic. Fortunately cars don't need oil changes as often as they did when it only cost 30 bucks so I guess it works out.

I went here the other day for the first time. The guys there were super friendly and thorough. They did exactly what they said they would. They were not pushy at all. They ask once if you would like other items checked, if you say no it ends there. Very respectful. I forgot to bring tip money with me for the workers so I will get them next time. Thank you.

The gentleman who checked me in was visibly annoyed the entire time I was there, especially when I told him I had a Groupon and didn t want any additional overpriced service done on my car. I won t ever return to this location. I was there on 11/15/22. The gentleman who actually did my oil change, Jesse, was excellent. Jesse has been there a long time, please give him a raise.

My wife didn't want to go, but she gave it a chance while I was at work. She said she didn't feel pressured, was impressed by the ease, and would go back anytime.

I went here for the first time because they are conveniently open on a Sunday. when I drove up, both bay stations were full but I waited less than a minute or two before that changed. Extremely fast service and professional staff. I was greeted by a service technician named Christian who was very professional and helpful. They checked all fluids; I didn't even need to get out of my car; and I was in and out in under about fifty to twenty minutes, with almost no waiting of any kind. I recommend them!

I pulled in at closing time The night before Thanksgiving holiday. My transfer case was leaking and I talked to the manager about my semi emergency situation. He had me pull in and they checked all my fluids and topped off my transfer case fluid which was completely empty at arrival. My total bill was $0.00. These guys are awesome. I would have gladly paid but they are just generous and caring. I very much appreciate them and had a great experience.

Much too expensive. didn't check my other fluids,and had the nerve to charge me 80.00 ! Manager was a total jersey and very combative!Rest of the employees were very courteous and nice. The manager needs a people skills education! I worked in the car business for 40 plus years and this guy never could have worked for me. Too much attitude and too little information. Jiffy lube did much better by me and for much less money! I'll never go there again!

No full service here, they don t check anything other then change oil. Any other location goes through an entire checklist. Not here, they cut all of the corners. Just who I want working in my vehicle. Changed my oil plug gasket which doesn t exist on my vehicle without saying a word. Horrible service here I will not return and do not recommend. On the plus side I did visit the Wilkes Barre location and they actually do the full service oil change there and check every single thing.Service: Oil change

I bring two of my vehicles here for service about once a month. Always pleasant to deal with. For the most part I'm in and out relatively quickly. Occasionally they do get backed up, but its not too bad usually. Can be a bit hard to find initially, but you can see it from the main drag so its easy to get to, but the first time can be a bit tricky.

I always receive excellent service from the Clarks Summit Valvoline Instant Oil Change center! They are very fast and thorough. They are reasonably priced. I never feel pressured to have other services performed on my vehicle other than the service I requested. The manager, Chris Ellis, is very professional and friendly, extremely knowledgeable and is great at explaining the service(s) being performed. He goes above & beyond! His staff is also very friendly and knowledgeable. I highly recommend their services. I will continue taking my vehicle there for oil changes and any other necessary services I may need that they perform!

this is the only location I take my cars too. The service is excellent with quality products & respectful, polite staff. I never feel pressured into purchasing services beyond my reason for my service visit. Prices are fair market & staff will give you a discount coupon if you forgot yours! These guys are high energy, love what they do and it shows. Thank you gentleman for doing what you do so well.

This is my second time coming here and I came back after the first time for a reason, they are great! I ve had the same guy, I believe his name is Mike, both times and he is over the top with knowledge and also customer service. The rest of the gentlemen are great as well I just didn t get to see their name tags and didn t have as much one on one with them as Mike. I would highly suggest this business to others.

The service here is top of the line. I only take my cars here for an oil change. Quick service backed up by an excellent staff. Never had any problems. They know how to take care of every type of vehicle. If you want a quick oil change done right. This is the place to go.

I have been going to this Valvoline since it opened. I have never had a problem with the service. The Manager and technicians are fantastic and very knowledgeable. Your never pressured to buy anything you don't need. The Staff will suggest and explain what service your vehicle is due for, but it's your decision.I will never take my vehicles to any other instant oil change business.Thank youBob

Not the best experience. They didn't check many important things after changing the oil. Also, it took them more than an hour just to change the oil and the air filter. Their price wasn't expected and the receipt wasn't accurate. However, they are friendly but I didn't bother to negotiate with them about the above issues.

I decided to try Valvoline for the first time in Clarks Summit since moving up there (I previously used a different company in Wilkes-Barre) since it seemed convenient. My tires clearly state the max psi is 44 (I usually have them filled around 40-42) and they decided to change my tire pressure to 32 psi? When my pressure light came on I was suprised and thought maybe they overfilled, but when I went to check they were all low. I looked at my invoice more closely and realized they marked to only fill at 32 psi. Not sure why they were unable to see my tires were supposed to be at 44 when even I can and I don't know much about cars except the basics.

Fast and easy. We usually go to downtown wb for our change, but we were right here. If you ignore the attitude of some, it's fine. It's oil. We needed it, they had it.

Fantastic service!!!! No appointment necessary, pulled in and got an oil change, air filter replaced, tires rotated, fluids checked and tire pressure checked in under an hour. A little pricey, but no big deal.

I'm sure they provide a quick efficient oil change with the convenience of drive through with no appointments. I stopped in and am glad I asked the price first. I was told my synthetic oil change in my subaru would be 89.99. The dealer charges $60 So even with their $8.00 online coupon it would have been $22 higher than the dealer. The reason I was told was the dealer gets the oil cheaper than us. I said no thanks. So I went and picked up 5qt of mobil one synthetic and a mobil one filter for $32.00 and changed it myself in about 15 mins to save$50.00
