My husband and I, along with our dog were heading back home to NC. Our truck gave us issues and we stopped in to Kost. They were very accommodating and helpful. The staff was so friendly. We want to thank them for being so kind

The nicest people. As a young woman I m used to being ripped off at car shops but these folks are honest as can be, and happy to answer any questions. Very good prices as well!

Called yesterday to have tires installed and was told to drop it off it be done by end of day. At 545 still didn t even put car in shop but was assured it would be first thing the next day called to see what was the progress 2 hours after shop opened and still no work done this shop not only just lost the4 tires on that vehicle and furthermore they lost the tires from the second vehicle that needs tires also today and the other 5 company vehicles will not visit this shop either Midas in Scranton had both vehicles in and out of there shop within an hour

I bought tires in the Exeter store Pennsylvania. I had a problem with tire balancing I made an appointment. I picked my truck up. They didn t do it. They said that other customers I called Matt Carpinet up in Clark Summit. I went up there he took care of the problem. My truck is perfect. Now I want to say a big tanks to Matt.

Got a flat on 81and called Kost Tire. They had the tire in stock and replaced immediately! Very nice and helpful! Highly recommend.

We live in Maine and our son attends Clarks Summit University and we needed some car repairs and finding a fair auto mechanic for a European car can be tricky, let alone out of state. These guys were fair with pricing, polite, professional, very fast. Gave a no cost estimate, even parked our convertible inside overnight. Very attentive. Highly recommend the Clarks Summit Kost team.

Oh man, I can't believe I haven't written a review for this place yet! These guys are awesome. Great prices, great service, great scheduling. Conveniently located on 6/11 in Clarks Summit.Listen, buying tires is never fun - but here you can be sure that the people will treat you with kindness, and you won't be overpaying.

Had a flat tire upon arriving in Clark's Summit. Brought the tire in on Saturday 7/8 around 1 pm. They said they had a few people ahead of us but seemed optimistic it would be resolved before close at 330. Got a call back in an hour that the puncture was plugged and we're all set. No charge!I know plugging a tire isn't crazy expensive but it was still time and work. Unfortunately I didn't get the gentlemens name, but he was super chill and just seemed happy to help! Honestly great experience all around. Hope the guy who helped us sees this and gets a raise

I walked in with zero notice July 3rd. Every bay was full the phone was ringingI asked for four new tires and needed them done within 2 hours. Kost tire drove 45 minutes to get the tires, returned, and installed them in time for my prior appointment. Excellent service and will travel to use them from now on.

I bought 4 winter tires here, plus an alignment, paid in cash. The install took the entire business day. Upon receiving the vehicle, I noticed a violent shudder/shake in the car and steering wheel. I figured they did not balance the wheels properly, so I brought the vehicle back. Again, my car was out of service for the entire business day. "Threw a balancing weight," the technician said. Except this would mean I threw a balancing weight within 500 feet of leaving the shop, because the shake happened immediately. Unlikely. After receiving my car for the second time, two business days of walking everywhere, I notice my car STILL has a shake! I take my car to the dealership to fix the issue. From the technician himself: "Johnny Wander must've balanced your wheels." They were as much as 7 grams off; an extreme misbalance! Twice! Furthermore, the alignment I paid for at Kost wasn't performed properly, because it was still out of alignment. There goes $100! Finally, Kost overfilled each tire by 5 pounds (37 vs 32). This measurement was taken first thing on a cold 28� morning; there is no chance for error. Upon deflating the tires, the car drove MUCH better. This is not the first time this location has grossly overfilled tires, either.TLDR:- Don't get your car aligned here, and for the love of God, DONT get any serious service performed!- Get your wheels balanced somewhere else! Don't trust them to be balanced installed!- Check your tire pressure after getting new tires. A 5 pound difference can cause significant premature wear and a change in handling.Footnote:I believe these problems stem from management; they take on WAY too much business. This is evident if you visit the location -- they have invented parking spots and filled the second entrance to accommodate customers. My car was definitely rushed, and I can't even be sure if the alignment was performed. You'd think that a business with "Tire" in there name wouldn't screw up the most basic parts of mounting tires. Two hours into our eight hour road trip, we noticed a bubble in one of the tires and went in to see about a new tire. The man and woman working told us they didn t have the tire we needed in stock and went out of their way to help us find a place that had what we needed. Being two young girls with limited experience with stuff like this, we are so incredibly thankful for them and all their help because we would have had no idea where to start to find what we needed.

Erin and her team has given me the best experience! I rushed in when I saw a nail in my tire around closing time. The team took my car without hesitation to help. Turns out I needed new tires! They went all hands on deck and changed my tires within 20 minutes. Amazing service thank you!

3 hours... no thanks ...laterThis was a second chance, but I had issues the first time... something was telling me that there's got to be another way.. and it kost me. FREE ADVICE , try Steve Shannon of Scranton. You feel the difference after you pay!

Thank you so much to J for answering our call on a Sunday evening and replacing the blown out tire on our truck camper. We were able to limp to the shop, he met us there and we were back on the road 1.5 hours later!

If you are in a hurry this is not the place to get one tire replaced. Waited just under 5 hours to replace one tire. After 3 hours, there were 2 people ahead of us. Took another almost 2 hours before we were finally done. Kost counter person said we are never not busy .

Paul helped me today and got me setup with new tires, brakes, and rotors. I was out the door same day with wheel balancing and an alignment just as quoted. I compared the pricing and found Paul was quoting me with the most competitive package, tires were less than what I could find online too! He made sure my wife had a ride home so she didn't have to wait. I was very impressed with today's quality of service, pricing, and work. I highly recommend and I'm now planning to be a long time customer. Excellent work guys!

I am from Georgia was visiting family in Clark's Summit when I realised I had a flat tire in the rental car due to a huge chunk of metal puncturing the tire. Upon the recommendation of the family member I was visiting I parked the car at Kost for the night and left my key in the drop box. The service and generosity of the whole crew at Kost got us back on the road early the following morning so that we could continue to visit with family members. I can't express my gratitude enough. They made a stressful situation way easier to deal with. Thanks y'all!

Awesome! These guys continue to be quick, reliable, friendly, and accommodating. Will continue to go.11/19 they guys are so friendly. Have worked on my Jeep a fair amount. Always do great work. Alan is super friendly. Great job replacing my windshield.6/5 these guys continue to treat me beyond expectations. They have serviced multiple vehicles of mine and have done so with expertise, professionalism, and are honestly the most joyful team (Allen and Matt) to deal with. They service my cars in a timely, cost effective manner. Strongly recommend. Lifetime customers here!

Updated review: After speaking with the general manager and manager, I have decided to change my rating and update my review. They have taken the time to reach out to me and assured me they would rectify this situation with the warehouse personnel. Because of their attention to my concerns and their quality of service, I will be happy to continue having my vehicles serviced at this location.Original message: My family has been using Kost for years. The service is great. However, today I had an experience that will make me question coming back here. I drove my vehicle there with tires to be swapped out. Both sets of tires were purchased through Kost. I pulled into the parking lot and parked in the only open space (white lines each side). As I got out of my vehicle, I was verbally accosted by one of their drivers and a warehouse worker for parking there. I asked where I should park and was given a blank stare. I walked away and went inside to leave the vehicle, but am thinking I should have gone somewhere else as it's apparent that some of the employees don't want your business.

They did a good job putting on 2 new tires. Took about four hours due to them working on cars dropped off early am being picked up after work on the way home. First come first serve. Don t expect to drive in and have new tires installed without a long wait. My tires were ordered 3 or 4 days prior. They did not call me when they arrived in inventory. Lesson? Make appointment and leave your car for the whole day. Friendly and very busy.....

We did not need look any further when a cylinder misfired on the turnpike. This place was super busy but tried their best to check out the problem. We were 3 hours away from home and on a Saturday, we did not know if we would have to stay until Monday to get the car back. We were fortunate it only took a couple hours. The guy gave us an over-estimate so it ended up being cheaper when all done.Due to covid we could not chill in a restaurant for the time being. So we had to check in at the nearest hotel to get out the chilly weather. The lady at the hotel was also super empathetic.Everyone in this town was super nice and helpful. It s the best town to have your car break down near.

I blew out a tire on Route 380 on the way to my sons graduation in Ithaca. Needless to say I was panicked. Luckily I had drive flat tires and made my way to Kost. They searched their inventory and had the high performance tire I needed. Matt and the other staff were fantastic and took care of me right away. He even handled calling in the claim for my tire insurance. Highly professional and great service. Wonderful staff. I was back on the road in an hour. Thank you!

My daughter and I were passing through this town and stopped to get coffee at krispy Kreme and when we went back out to our car we had a very low tire!!! Lucky for us Kost Tire was just seconds down the road !!I just have to say... the guys there were the absolute best!!! Got us fixed and back on the road within minutes!!! That was the nicest thing that happened to us !!! They were professional and very helpful!! Should get best Customer Service Award for sure!!!Thank you guys for helping us!!!

Just purchased four winter tires and had an oil change, and alignment at Kost Tires in Clarks Summit, Pa. The store was unusually busy due to a winter snow forecast but despite the heavy workload the customer service was top notch: polite, professional, knowledgeable, and prompt. A job well done. I'll continue to do business here and recommend it to others.

These guys are the BEST! Honest & Trustworthy is an understatement. I hit a large pot hole and my vehicle was making a terrible squealing noise from the front right hub assembly. Just moving to NE PA, I wasn t sure where to get it repaired. I Brought my vehicle into Kost Tire to diagnose the problem, which I thought it was going to be an expensive repair. Turns out it was just a bent brake dust shield rubbing against the back of the rotor. The team at Kost diagnosed, fixed the problem at no charge, and had me on my way in less than an hour on a busy Saturday at their shop. THANK YOU for your honesty and integrity, you have customer for life.

We were just passing through on the Turnpike when both passenger side tires were blown out by a pothole. The people at Kost - Matt, Bryan, and Zack - did a great job getting us back on the road quickly and we even got a good deal. They made a difficult situation much more bearable. Thank you!
