I apologize. I mistakenly gave this shop Welsh Automotive's negative 1 star review. Run from them! This location here at West Chester Transmission is a 5 star location. Super nice gentleman and very very trustworthy! He should of been the one doing my transmission! I highly recommend them.

This place was recommended by another local auto shop. Jeff and his team were professional throughout, kept me in the loop, and took the time to identify the issue and the exact cause. Appreciate all the help given. Highly recommend this place for anyone having car issues.

Honest, reliable work.Came as a recommendation from Yarnall's Garage, another honest mechanic in the area, and am very happy with the results.Took it here after dealership tried to scam me for a failed transmission and they took care of it properly.Best transmission repair shop in the area.

Jeff put a flywheel and clutch in my truck. When I left the shop, my truck was shaking and couldnt go past 64mph without almost exploding. Called Jeff 3 different times, dropped my car off 3 separate times and had to pull my own car after 5 days the 3rd time. Never do business here. Jeff and the team did a great job replacing the clutch on my Subaru! They saved me several hundred dollars over the dealership while still using OEM grade parts and gave me a great warranty for their work. I'd recommend them to anyone for their clutch and transmission issues. Thanks guys!

I have used W. Chester Transmission 3 times now. twice for some work vans and once to basically rebuild my wife's 2002 Trans Am. The work vans had a very quick turn around, which is important when you customers backed up and the care that was put into my wife's car was so impressive, we actually tipped the mechanic. I have never tipped a mechanic. I highly recommend them.

The best!!!Only once have I met professionals in the industry...and I have known many!This firm is the best!....and I know cars from GTO s, Screaming 440 s, but most of all...Porsche 911 s and 914 2.0 s worked.I know cars and use to be a pretty good mechanic on all.Bottom line - these guys are incredible.Call me any time concerning my experience.

I've had a few transmissions repaired here, never an issue! They do such good work, we recommend all our customers go here for any transmission related issues. Little known fact, they also do some module and instrument panel repairs as well.

Absolutely TERRIBLE experience. Owner admitted he didn't properly look over the car before performing service because he could tell what was wrong just by glancing at the vehicle. Proceeded to charge me $1,300 to replace the rear main seal on my car which began leaking the same day he replaced it! (Picture shows leaking oil the day he gave it back). I took my car to the official Volkswagen dealership and they told me that West Chester Transmissions did a terrible job performing the service and caused my vehicle to leak oil from a variety of other seals and fittings. West Chester Transmissions told me they wouldn't give me my money back after ruining my vehicle. I now have to bring a civil suit against this business because they ruined my car. DO NOT BRING YOUR VEHICLE HERE! THEY WILL DESTROY YOUR PROPERTY!Service: Transmission

Great service and very reasonable prices. I have had them replace my transmission on my Honda odyssey and I am going to have my Acura mdx's transmission done also. Can't beat the service or prices.
