I ve been going to Firestone in West Chester, PA for years for oil changes, tire rotations and inspections and have rarely ever been disappointed. They are almost always very quick and keep me updated on progress. I live right down the street so it s been convenient to drop my vehicle and walk home and they do a good job calling if they run into delays, issues or need clarification. They run a good shop and a lot of the guys have been there for years so you can trust their competency and reliability. For these minor & regular maintenance needs I can t recommend this shop enough.

4 hours to put 4 tires on? Absolutely ridiculous. Worst customer service. Made an appointment to wait for 10am and still waiting at 130pm. Not one person came out to apologize for the wait or tell me how much longer it would be. I will not be back. Communication goes a long way. I couldn t even get the alignment done because I couldn t wait any longer. Really terrible experience. Again I will not be back

Scams!!!Don't go there for inspection. They will tell you that your car has lots of issues and they will end up giving you quotation for the parts. I left there with annoyance. I was told that my car needed control arms which was not true. They ended up sticking one inspection sticker one my car, which means my car did not pass an inspection. I took my car to another inspection site the same day and it passed an inspection. They are only interested in your money. And they know that when they tell you that your car failed an inspection you will be presured to do whatever they told you because they know that you will not drive the car when it fails. Please don't go. I wasted my money.

I had an awful experience with this Firestone location, and I hope no amount of fake 5 star reviews can take away what I have to say.I brought my car in, a Suzuki with 130k miles on it for an oil change. I was informed later that I needed to do around $6,500 in repairs, two of which I had to do immediately or the car would "burst into flames". Naturally, I was very scared. I had them do the two repairs which amounted to around $1500 as well as replace the windshield wipers and do an oil change.I did get a second opinion...I went to another place my wife's family frequents in Paoli. Not only did they say a lot of the work didn't need to be done, what Firestone supposedly did was exactly that...'supposed'. I brought it back to Firestone for them to do the repairs they actually said they would do. Also...I almost forgot, they DIDN'T EVEN REPLACE MY WINDSHIELD WIPERS...weird that they found $6,500 worth of problems but the windshield wipers were not even replaced.Anyways...Firestone did what it was supposed to...FINALLY. After that I went to a different mechanic. He checked everything for $40 and said break pads would need to be replaced before the next state inspection, but other than that I'm good. He also said Firestone workers get paid on commission...which I'm not sure is true, but is a weird model for auto-mechanic compensation.Either way, I'd recommend McLaughlin's Automotive Service Center in West Chester or United Tire and Service in Paoli. Our friends and family have great experiences with them and I'd ditch Firestone permanently.Cheers.

I took my car in to get new tires put on my 2019 Jetta today. Whoever did the job left this tire glue and corrosive stuff all over my wheels. They made no effort to even try to make it look okay. I thought I could get it off but after trying different cleaners it may just be that my wheels are damaged. They also screwed up the psi in all of my tires. One was at 28 one was at 36 etc. on NEW TIRES How do you not just check them ??? I think Firestone should be the one scrubbing my wheels that they messed up. This place just sucks.

I have been a customer of this particular location for a few years now. I had my inspection done and was told to replace front and back brakes. I did this and less than a few weeks returned there due to a noise on the back brakes. They "replaced" the rudders in the back under "warranty" but this did not fix the problem. I ended up taking it to the dealership and found the back brakes are MISSING 2 retainers therefore effecting the spring pads moving around the caliber. I asked for the dealer to replace and firestone said they would reimburse me the cost. Fingers crossed they keep good on their word. But how do you miss putting in retainers? Truly disappointed.Services: Brakes, Brake service & repair

I highly recommend this Firestone store location. If you've been disappointed elsewhere, look no further! They treat their valued customers with respect! I am commending the store Manager, Scott Pauley, Service Writers, Christian and Mike and Service Technician, Carlos. All of them are very concerned with total, customer service satisfaction. Thank you for a job-well-done. They respect the US Military . Have a Blessed day.....

It is so disappointing when a big name like Firestone tries to take advantage of elderly citizens trying to get their car through inspection. On a recent visit we were told that we needed $2500 worth of work to pass inspection and charged $70 dollars. Upon taking the car elsewhere we were informed that the car is perfect and we received our state inspection. I will not let these guys near my bicycle!

Christian & the team of mechanics at Firestone West Chester are a complete pleasure to work with. Car repair/trouble is never fun (or cheap) but Christian made my experience very pleasant & as simple, painless (and FAST) as he possibly could. You can tell the employees here really take pride in their work, and are very well educated automotive repair and have great customer service skills. I was very happy and impressed with my experience at Firestone today, I will definitely be back!!

I recently had an oil change. I ve been using this location for the past five years. I had the lifetime alignment. After a week of having my car the tire pressure monitor came on. I guess you have to ask to put air in tires with alignment. This place has gone downhill since Mike left. My last brake fluid flush I had to top off brake fluid. I will go to get my free alignment otherwise I ll take my car elsewhere. You lost a long time customer with two vehicles.Services: Tires, Oil change

My son brought his car in for an inspection. They fully inspected the car and its hoses. The car was running fine with no lights or error lights. They ignored my instructions to only do the work needed to pass inspection and were doing suggested maintenance too. When I complained they said they would not do the additional repairs. Then my son picks up the car they did the additional work that I told them twice not to do and within 30 minutes of driving off the lot on his way back to college an hour away there was "mysteriously" a puncture in the engine hose which cost an additional $670 to fix and they "claim" they didn't do. However it ran fine before bringing it there and after their inspection the car had a catastrophic failure that could have killed my son while he was driving on the highway after leaving their lot.

Really bad! Used to do great service. Now they never have mechanics to do a job. Drop it off for an oil change and it sat. Finally said they weren t able to get to it and didn t have an oil filter. The front of the house guy is rotating tires then running to answer the phone that s been ringing for 10min. Very dysfunctional. Use Midas up the street.Services: Wheel alignment, Oil change

After coming in and ordering my tires, they knew my vehicle and past experience (very bad), I was scheduled to have my tire service at 10am. I showed up a little early (9:30) to make things easier. After sitting for a hour and a half, I was told they would not be able to service me and would have to go somewhere else to get my tires installed.

Got an oil change and state inspection, was informed that all four tires will not make it to the winter, but I just paid $1000 in the beginning of November for them at Firestone. All they could say is that there was uneven wear on each if them, which was "strange since the mileage between Nov and may/June was so low" and wanted to sell me an alignment and balancing. Update: It's been a year or so, and had to go there to get emergency brake work done (every other place + dealerships couldn't fit me in for several days) Dropped another star after this visit. I can almost excuse the oil and grease on the door handle and steering wheel, I get it, it's a dirty job... But the driver's seat has a nice splash about the size of my hand of some type of oil on it, that'll be fun to clean. I guess they stopped putting paper mats down on the floor and on the seats before doing work.

Friendly helpful staff. I purchased Firestone Weather Grip tires just days before hurricane Ida and and gave the tires the ultimate wet weather test. I drove home during the peak of the storm when it was raining over 1.5" per hour and I never hydro planed during the 1.5 hour drive. They are excellent tires and have amazing grip.

Just drove home after getting my first alignment from their lifetime alignment program, and my truck is driving better than it ever has since I got it 6 months ago. Good customer service, was able to schedule same day and didn't have to wait around for too long while it got aligned. They also had coffee at the store which is a huge plus for me. I highly recommend this shop, at least for alignments.

I asked to have an oil change and a tire rotation. They called me back saying that the oil was changed and that they inspected the tires and they did not need to be rotated. I really appreciate the honesty because they could have easily charged me without actually rotating them or rotating them anyway regardless of their condition. They also inspected my brakes without me asking and said they looked fine. I sincerely appreciate the honesty, they've earned my trust!

They took me in exactly when I was scheduled & teamed up to get my 4 tires & alignment knocked out efficiently as a single unit. That as well included a newly hired technician that was being trained. So no complaints from this satisfied customer.

The staff at Firestone were friendly, professional and helpful! Mike in particular was very responsive as we worked through some unexpected issues with my vehicle. He made sure I understood the repairs that I needed and even though I eventually had to take it to the dealership, I would 100% come back here and reccomend it to others!

Update: I sent an email to the area manager Alexis but still no response and also called Customer Service and was told that the Area manager will call in 48 hours but it s been almost 2 weeks still no follow up call. Yesterday was my first time going to this location. This will be my last time going there as well. I went there to get my winter tires installed on my Lexus RX350. They damaged one of my wheel lugnut/ stud and tried to charge me $225 to replace and not to mention they never called me and told me that they were having trouble getting it off instead they decided to stripped it. And then after the damage was done they decided to call me and blame that my dealership had done that when they rotate my tire last time.

My dad reccomended them to me. Only complaint is I made an appointment to get 4 new tires and a state inspection a couple days ahead of time. I took my car in as soon as they opened and they assured me I would have my car back by 1pm that day. A couple hours after that I have not heard from them so I call and they tell me "oh yeah, we only had three of those tires so we had to get one from the warehouse your car should be done in a couple hours. I think they do good work but to not even have the courtesy to call and say the messed up on inventory and it's gonna take a little longer kind of makes me frustrated.

Service team went above and beyond, including their integrity about the potential battery problem. Another company diagnosed that a battery replacement was needed. I decided to get a 'second opinion' at Firestone. Glad that I did - battery charge is fine! They also checked my alternator charge and checked tire air pressure - all OK. All done with friendly, courteous service and a pleasant, warm wait.

The Firestone in West Chester is the best! The team is always informative and honest. They show you the problem and offer the best solution. Love how they always offer coupons! I have been taking all my cars here since the 1990's. The staff may change but the customer service and dedication always remains the same.

Please take your car anywhere BUT the West Chester location. Not only did they put the wrong size tires on my car, they did work to my car without authorization that more than likely caused more damage than good. I drove my car to the shop and they called me THREE DAYS LATER asking to get it towed...I am now waiting for my vehicle to get assessed for the work that they did. Please save your time and energy. Poor leadership, poor excuses, poor job all around. Waiting to hear back from Corporate about the claim I filed..

My loyalty is not considered anymore. New management and new front desk employees.I've been coming to this location for over 11 years, I used ( in the past, not anymore) to get a real complete courtesy check during the 3-months-window period prior my inspection stickers expires everytime I come for any scheduled maintenance. It used to be a win/win for both me and the store, the employee would do an unofficial complete inspection during an oil change and would tell me the estimate, if the car needed nothing I would know the charge prior to ordering the inspection. But now they don't want to to even look unless I ask for inspection which I have to pay for (pass or fail).

Had a tire patched here. Was told over the phone and then in writing that the front brake pads were critically in need of replacement. Later took it to my own trusted dealer and asked them to investigate. They reported the front pads were fine, possibly less than a year old. I didn't want to believe the misinformation was intentional, but upon comparing the two written reports from each business, I had to conclude it was. No one appreciates dishonest scare tactics. Patch was good and well priced as expected, but my business goes elsewhere.

Thank you David and Jake. I will be back. I appreciated the service and quick attention to my issue. I drove in from VA to PA thinkinging I could postpone an oil change. Nope! I called and David listened to my concerns and he allowed me to be fit in immediately. Jake was helpful at the desk and made the transaction very easy. Being away from home it was great to see the service transcends state borders and I will use them again.
