I found this auto shop by just typing auto shop near me on Google. And I m glad Edwards Auto Shop popped up first. The owner, James Edwards was very outgoing and helpful. He s very flexible and proactive. I plan to go here for now on for any automobile repairs or issues. I highly recommend.

First time takin my 2014 Honda to Edwards. James was great. I was expecting to need an alignment and that s what was done. James also did a look over and had a small list of services to be done. Told me the car was in great shape. Will be going there for now on.

I trust James implicitly. He exudes expertise, and takes the worry and fear out of getting my car serviced because I trust both his knowledge and his integrity. I won't take my car anywhere else, even though it's a bit of a hike from Parkesburg. I can be sure that he won't do unnecessary work just to make some money from me, which is a problem I have experienced from other mechanics. He knows his stuff!

I'm so happy I came across James's shop! I received a ticket for an expired inspection and wanted to get it addressed ASAP since I park in Philly. James was the only person who got back to me over LDW and was able to get me in the first business day back. Furthermore, I had another issue with my car that he was able to fix very resourcefully and saved me hundreds of dollars. He is so friendly, professional, and efficient. Highly recommend!

Absolutely the Best. I've been using Edwards Auto Services for a very long time to keep my 2006 Infinity G35 in tip top shape. This car is now 17 years old and still runs and looks like new thanks to Edwards. Their services are very professional, reasonably priced, and they take care of my care like it was their own. I don't know what I would have done without Jimmy! I needed to trade my current vehicle (Cadillac ATS) in as I needed a more family friendly vehicle but my touch screen was damaged and needed repair. Jimmy was hands on in guiding me on the right parts needed as well as being available according to my schedule to get my car fixed and prepped for trading in. He was able to quickly repair the problem and I, in turn, received EXACTLY what I wanted with my trade-in! He even helped me with a recommendation at a dealership to get me into a new car! Hands down, this was a great experience and I would recommend to friends, family, and anyone looking for reliable auto services.Services: Electrical repair, Electrical

James was so incredibly helpful! I have never bought a used car before but I found one I liked and brought it to him to inspect. He made time for me countless times and answered my questions and offered support. He is incredibly knowledgeable about cars and how they work and what they need. Jim does fast and great work, and I trust him far more than any dealers. For my Subaru Forester, he s done head gaskets, front-end work, and all other general maintenance I ve needed for years. I highly recommend his services if you need fast and quality service.

Could not recommend this business enough! I drive a real old vehicle and needed to get an inspection knowing that there was a lot work that would have to be put into it. Jim worked with me every step of the way and for a VERY affordable price, got my vehicle in working order and was able to pass inspection. They deserve every top review that they have gotten and if you are anywhere near this business, this is the one to bring your vehicle to. If you are looking for a local shop with a mechanic who cares for his clients, look no further! So impressed with the transparency, respect, and communication I got at Edwards Auto Services. As a young female car owner, finding a shop that I can trust has been super intimidating, which is why I am so glad to have found this shop. The owner was SO personable and took the time to learn about my car needs. I own an older used 2012 Subaru which I don t plan to drive forever, so I really appreciated that the owner didn t try upsell me on excessive services that were not realistic for the car. I feel confident that they will keep me on the road for a fair price. Thank you thank you thank you!!!

Jim is truly a gifted mechanic. His diagnostic skills & commitment to provide outstanding service is extraordinary. He also takes the time to explain what he is doing, even though I didn t understand most of what he was saying lol. I left that to my husband.How we met Jim~We were looking for a car until it was suggested we let Jim take a look. I wasn t very optimistic because it was or so I thought, a very expensive repair. More than my car was worth. It turned out not to be what we thought & he made the necessary repairs to fix the problem as well as uncover other potential problems at half the original repair estimate. Jim was excellent in explaining everything that needed to be maintained on my Jeep. He even installed a hitch for me so I can tow my Vespa to the Beach! Inspection was thorough, service was impeccable and his personal customer appreciation is apparent. I would recommend Jim for all your mechanical needs. Jim will be my go-to guy moving forward. I'm very particular with my vehicles and I felt at ease with Jim after our first phone discussion. He thoroughly explained the scope of work required and various options for parts/fluids. He was able to source all of the ford/motorcraft parts and fluids that I had specifically requested. He quickly completed a tremendous amount of service on my work truck to get me back in business. Additionally, he saved me quite a bit of money compared to the dealer. A great experience each time! I'm a retired automotive repair shop owner. I use Edwards Auto Services for my vehicle's maintenance and repair. I have found Jim to be honest and forthright about what my vehicles need, what may be upcoming for them in the matter of maintenance and recommendations on which products to use. His pricing is more than reasonable and I know without a doubt that he prides himself on giving the best bang for the buck. He never performs services without checking with me first and offering an estimate on those repairs. Exceptional service with a high attention to detail. James was personable and made me feel like I was giving my car to a friend and not a corporation. He didn t do unnecessary work that most places will do to drive prices up, while still checking over my entire car and making sure it was road-trip ready.
