Absolutely thrilled with Dougherty! This was my first experience with Dougherty after following them on social media for quite some time. Took my recently purchased 2001 Volvo S60 T5 manual in for a routine service and a solid once-over, and could not be happier. From the initial phone call where Bryan was excited about my car, to the actual work, I m thrilled. Had them look at what I thought was a suspension issue, and when they concluded my car was fine, I was only charged for 1 hours worth of diagnostic work, despite them ordering in parts and spending a lot of time diving into my car. The honesty and thorough nature of their work is so very much appreciated, and I feel confident behind the wheel of my new-to-me car. If you re a European car enthusiast, this the place to get your car serviced!

Simply the best!Having owned 8 Mercedes over 44 years and using several dealerships and independent service shops over that span of years, Dougherty's is simply the best! Thoroughly knowledgeable, professional, easy to schedule and truly pleasant to work with. Pricing seems about 10-20 % under the dealerships. 3/19/24: PA State Inspection for the 2015 ML350, all is good. Found the rear wiper blade rubber torn, they order replacement wiper blade, came in the next day. I stopped in and the technician replaced it in 3 minutes. Good job! Bryan and Ryan were great! The shop is clean!Service: TiresService: Tires

I have be taking our cars for about 2 year now to Dougherty Automotive Services in West Chester, PA, and I couldn't be happier with the experience. Being an automotive enthusiast myself I m very picky on where to have my cars serviced. The staff is incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, taking the time to explain the repairs my cars needed in a way that was easy to understand. They have loner vehicles available which is great because I come out of my way to their shop, that s how good they are. The service is always completed in a timely manner, with fair and competitive pricing. All our vehicles runs perfectly, and I have Dougherty Automotive Services to thank for that. After relocating in Chester County, I needed a shop to take all our household vehicles. Internet reviews and Facebook info helped me to narrow it down to Dougherty, then I met the staff, great people and outstanding customer service. The Porsche was already serviced and we will continue bringing the rest of the toys when the service time comes. So if you are looking for a single shop to service all your European vehicles, this is the place.

Dougherty's helped to install M3 seats in my BMW E46. I had an issue where the motor was no longer allowing the seat to move forward or backward in order to access the bolts needed to remove the seats. They were able to find a unique solution by disassembling my seat (with updates for approval along the way) and had my new seats installed in no time. Thank you DAS! Will certainly return for future DIY pitfalls that need a professionals help, as well as for regular maintenance.

Our 964 Turbo had a troublesome and intermittent no start issue. Ryan and the team went to great lengths to diagnose the issue, ruling out certain fuel system items, before ultimately determining the Turbo Control Module was the issue. The module was replaced, along with a few cosmetic items, and the car looks and drives better than it ever has. With such a high-value car, we're reluctant to take it to "just anybody," but we have full faith in the Dougherty Automotive team for our special interest cars. My experience as a customer with Dougherty was excellent, but what really matters to me is what others in the industry have to say. When I had a transmission problem on a domestic vehicle, they recommended Paoli transmission, which themselves are an excellent shop. The owner asked me who referred me, and when I told him it was Dougherty, I almost couldn't get him to stop telling me about what an excellent shop -- and excellent people -- that they are. Summing it up, he characterized them as "A real class act". I agree!Service: Auto engine tuning

You will not find a more complete automotive service group. Ryan and /or Bryan are always available to take your phone calls. They are willing to turn over every stone to locate what ever it is that your Auto may need. They have my 1968 P-1800s Volvo in perfect running condition.
