First visit here after other mechanic retired. He was great, he caught me off guard at first (with a straight face, he said my bill was $10,000. When I dumbfoundedly asked how, he said he was trying to retire early, so he figured he would charge everyone $10,000 ). He even offered to drop my car off because he was going that way anyways, which was awesome cause I have 2 young kids and didn't have to deal with switching carseats. Great guy, will continue to get my car serviced here.

Great Honest Mechanic. Daughter is WCU student car broke down had towed to Alex. Diagnosed the issue right away, cost to fix was well over $600.Alex advised me the issue was covered under a new manufacturer recall savings us over $600.Great honest mechanic. Will use again.Service: Transmission

I have worked with Al the past few years and he is the sweetest mechanic I have ever met. He truly cares about his customers and his career as a mechanic. He doesnt overcharge like most corporate places. I had so many problems and/or thought I did and if there isn't anything wrong with your vehicle he will not charge you. He will do everything in his power to save you money as well. Support your local businesses like Brandywine Auto Repair.

Al is such a great person. He tells you how it is and doesn't overcharge you like other places would. He and his team of helpers are very flexible and will drive you home and pick you up when the job is done. He helped us when we were in an accident and made every effort to get the job done as soon as possible so we could drive our own car again. I recommend him to anyone who wants an honest and passionate person working on their car. He has been a blessing to us.

We are new to town and went to Al based on a friend s recommendation. So happy we did. He does good, honest work and at a fair price. If you re looking for a mechanic for your family that you can trust, this is your guy! We ll only go to Brandywine Auto Repair from now on.

What can I say about Al and Brandywine Auto Repair other than I don't know what I would do without them! Al has saved me so many times I cannot count. He is always offerring to pick me up or drop me off so that I can get to work while he works on my car. His rates are so affordable that I will NEVER go anywhere else again. I finally had to write a review after I had a terrible experience with a tow truck and my insurance. Al had his guy come and tow me and save me the cost of the police impounding my car and then made sure I had a way home to my family. Car repairs never happen at a convenient time or in a convenient manner and I know I can always call Al in a frantic panic and he will first calm me down and then remedy the situation withouth robbing me blind :-) I could go on and on and could not say enough to show how grateful I am to have found him !

I couldn't be happier with the body work that Al and his team did on my van! It looks brand new again! Al was very courteous, accommodating and had my van done when promised. I will never take my vehicles anywhere else for body work! Thanks again Al for an excellent job at a fair price!

Al is probably one of the kindest people I have come across in a while. He towed my car which broke down 10 min away from my apartment. They also came to me to pick up the keys and offered me a ride to get my car. Being the daughter of a towing company / auto shop owner it means a lot that Brandywine auto goes above and beyond for their customers. My car which needed a part replaced was done in ONE day at a reasonable price and of course great and friendly service. I will definitely (but hopefully not soon) be returning and recommend brandy wine auto to anyone who needs good quality reliable work done to their car. Thanks for everything !

Went in to Brandywine Auto today to get an AC recharge. I called in yesterday explaining what I needed, and today Al greeted me outside the shop and remembered exactly what I had came in for. I had a bike in the back of my truck since I was expecting to leave my truck there for a few hours, but he told me he'd do the work right then so that I wouldn't have to bike home. Took him 15 minutes to recharge my AC and charged me half the price that other local shops would. If you are looking for "a guy" to work on your car, this is the place.

Al does excellent work and estimates his time well which is helpful when you re waiting on your mode of transportation. He s a brilliant mechanic and does great work. I recommend him to anyone local or new to the area.

BEST DEAL IN TOWN! I just took my car in for "big repairs" because of a steering issue. He called me up and told me it didn't need anything. I had a setting wrong. Didn't charge me anything. Who does that these days?I've been going to Alex for years. Sean S. said it all below. I had terrible experiences with auto shops in the area till I found Alex.

This is the GREATEST shop in existence. Al and the team take incredible care of their customers, know all makes and models and always do flawless work. They are honest, fair, talented and trusted. If you live anywhere close to Brandywine Auto Repair it's a must.

I m not originally from the area and have had a bad experience with a majority of auto shops locally in West Chester. Al has been nothing but a pleasure to work with since I ve been going to him (past 2 years) and is always honest and up front about what needs to be fixed and when it needs to be fixed by.Highly recommend using Brandywine auto!

I took my car to Al after getting a $1500 estimate for parts and labor to pass inspection at another shop in WC. Al came up with a creative (and safe) work around which only cost a little over $600 including paying him to do the inspection, again.

I rarely write reviews but Alex earned it. I called a bunch of mechanics to get a wiper motor/linkage. He was the only one to offer looking for a used part, which he found, I looked and couldn't find it. The part cost me less than half I would have paid otherwise, and even his labor was a little less than competitors.

If you want an honest mechanic who isn't out here to make a buck off of people who don't know much about cars, bring it here. AI is a super nice guy and always works hard to make his customers happy. Keep it up.

Al is one of West Chester's town treasures. He's expert, friendly, and astonishingly fast. If you had a mechanic like Al in a movie, the audience would never believe it: "there are no mechanics like that in real life."

I went to brandywine auto repair to have my car inspected and it was very fast and wasa decent price..My inspection expires in march and I will be going back to Brandywine auto repair to have it inspected and tagged again..I have told many of my friends about them and they reply the same way by telling me that BAR has great quality work and decently priced..
