This review is more about service than an actual sale. I got the dreaded "check engine" warning light on my Ford Flex and googled where I could get the diagnostic code and reason for the warning light free of charge.The AutoZone store on Gay Street offered the service, and as a bonus the D&K Diner is directly across the street so breakfast was on the agenda as well.When I went into AutoZone, I was immediately asked how I could be helped. A very nice gentleman went through the directions on how to use the OBDII diagnostic tool, and 5 minutes later I had the code, a course of action for the repair, and the exact part needed.What is noteworthy was that there was no pressure to buy the part (an oxygen sensor). The same gentleman gave me a printout of the diagnostics and asked if there was anything else I needed and welcomed me to call or come back with any other questions or concerns.I have been into other parts stores, and have been ignored while employees had no sense of good customer service.AutoZone's sales staff was attentive, professional and courteous and that surely gives them the edge when I am ready to purchase.

During a nasty nighttime rain storm my daughter's car had a headlight burn out. It was Sunday almost 8pm and I was able to get the bulb she needed for her 2 hour drive home. It took less than 5 minutes to replace the bulb right in their parking lot. I appreciate the long hours for emergencies.

Employees Corron and Gary went way out of their way to help me both replace a defective 4-port charger without any hassles, and also loaned me the tools to remove diffuse it blue and replace it! Very helpful and positive energy here. This and all Auto Zones will let you do a free code scan and print out the results to help you get the info to verify or DIY your auto repairs. Thank you!

This story is really nice and the people are fantastic. Been going since opened. But I'm giving it a three-star because they keep raising there prices. Stuff is really high now, just like most stores are doing these days. Price hikes all the time. It's horrible

Holden. R was the kindest and most helpful employee. He did our diagnostics test and explained each code that came up. He also helped with finding a local mechanic as this was an emergency. Thank you so much Holden and I will happy to return to this store!

My headlight bulb blew last night. I stopped at AutoZone, and bought the part. They installed it too!What a positive experience I had. Carlos was courteous, responded to my questions with patience and expertise and made me a forever customer. This business is fortunate to have him as an employee! Thanks again. Love this store.

I've been coming here for a long time to get parts I would need for any DIY projects with the vehicle(s) my family and I drive. They have everything from a refill on important fluids your vehicle depends on, to auto parts, etc.

I realize all the auto parts stores are feeling the sting of the economy going down and the gloomy outlook of the change over to full electric vehicles are on the horizon; which undoubtedly will kill a lot of those buiessnesses. But that shouldn't be the reason for the really bad customer service for the now.

I needed some windshield wipers and went to the counter. The gentleman was very nice and told me where they were in the store. Mr. Poke came over and personally assisted me and explained the different wipers and the cost difference. I asked if they would install them and it was no problem. I started a conversation about his name (Poke) and (well I will let you ask him...its an amazing story)! I told Mr. Poke, if I need something in the future I was coming back to Autozone. I was treated with so much respect, and the people were very nice and knowledgeable. Thanks Autozone for starting my morning in a beautiful way!!

Went here a few weeks ago, and the staff was awesome! The young man that helped my partner and I had a great sense of humor, but was still knowledgeable and professional! We were looking for touch up paint for our vehicles, and he helped us figure out where to find the paint color info to exact match our vehicles. He also helped up explore rust stop options as well. We will definitely be going back here for our auto needs!

I brought a use vehicle from a dealership in Jersey and on my 4th day the bumper fell off on my way to work and so after work I went to this Autozone with no knowledge of what to do the ms kay was very helpful and victor was an exceptional employee he guided and aided me for 20 min in the cold thank you for making a bad day better

Of course, the first morning the temperature was in the 20s, my car battery didn't want to kick over. I went to AutoZone and they were great! The women behind the counter was so nice and helpful, she tested my battery, determined it was dead and helped me select a new one. After I had the receipt in my hand a gentleman was walking out to my car to replace the battery. It was quick, easy and pleasant.

Great service. I feel so bad for the employee holden, a lady ( karen) had no receipt and wanted a part the employee told her she needed the receipt. She then proceeded to start yelling at him and his fellow Co worker. I feel so bad for him no one should be yelled at like they are not human.

Very good and fast service. I brought my battery, they installed it fast. I was in and out. Oh the man of whom I wish I got his name was wonderful very accurate and fast! He deserved the tip I gave him!

The associates were very helpful. I picked up an out of date flyer somehow and they honored the flyer prices. Every penny adds closer to a dollar. I am accustomed to servicing my own vehicle. They insisted on putting in the oil and making sure everything else was bagged well. Definitely a go again place. Thank all of you for you 5 stars work.

I stopped in here last night to grab a replacement lamp for my work truck. The staff was extremely friendly and one gentleman even double checked the part number to ensure that it would be comparable with the Ford Special Services package. The store is also very clean.

Store #6424 . Corron was very helpful he installed my new silver ultra low beams for my civic at no extra charge. I was looking for lights to match my lead strip and he Had the correct product ready to go and was out of the store in about 6 minutes. Thank you I love my new lights

My car battery was dead today when I went out to start it up. A roadside assistance company that I pay a membership fee for sent someone out and he diagnosed my old 2002 Subaru Outback with needing a new battery. He quoted me a price that was IMO astronomical but I had a full day of things to do so I agreed to let him change it.As he was trying to change the battery he wasn t able to take a tie down thing apart. So he said take it to somewhere like Auto Zone because they can replace the tie down part.Thanks so he gave me a charge and I went on my way and 5 mins later I was at Autozone.I was greeted by an employee named Holden. I started telling him about what had just happened and he ran a test for me on my battery. He didn t get that it was a bad battery, just that it wasn t charged.While Holden was briefly inside getting something, an employee named Jerome approached me and asked if i was being helped.Holden came out and together they checked my engine and gave me all of the options of what the problem could be. We made a game plan, together. And their battery check said it wasn t bad it was just uncharged.Because the contractor didn t tell me to keep my engine running for an hour after he charged it.Holden and Jerome did. They were honest and professional and I will be a life long customer.What a breath of refreshing genuine kindness on a hot day when all my plans were melting.Thank you Holden and Jerome!

I went to replace a faulty battery this morning, in and out in 10 minutes. The lady at the counter was professional and gentleman helped change in minutes. I have had bad autozone experience at other locations (Upper Darby, City Ave) but this was a pleasant surprise. Great customer service and thanks for making the transaction hassle free!

Autozone employee accidently fell into our car and scraped it. Manager came out and claimed that there was no way for him to have done the damage that was on the car...despite the fact that we were there and saw it happen while she was inside the whole time and didn't see it. Employee apologized and suggested offering some buffer solution on the house, but the manager refused to take responsibility for the incident when she came out to look. It's a shame that the employee was honest and trying to take responsibility for an accident, while the manager spent her time trying to avoid blame and act like we were liars. We won't come here again and recommend that you don't either!

Stopped in today for a new battery for my daughter's car. Price was reasonable. Rob S. was very courteous and went out of his way to help us out. He also caught an issue with the wipers that could have been dangerous had my kid been out driving in bad weather. I wouldn't have caught the problem myself until it was too late.
