My sister and I were at the airport with a dead battery last week. A great guy jumped us and I called AAA on our way home. Klaus answered the phone. He was so kind. He told us to come straight in and he would take care of us immediately. He did just that!! Bryan installed a new one . He was kind, too!!

Hard to schedule.Staff either refuses or is not knowledgeable about tint waivers, law or requirements. The rep with tattoos on the arms said "it's between you and the state" . Wow very helpful, only some basic info . Had to do a lot of research to even find out, what is the form from dmv that needs to be filled out by the doctor. They do this stuff all the time , but act as if they don't know . Unpleasant customer service skills. It was months of delay between registration and inspection, and issues with scheduling. At the end when u provided the dmv paper , he couldn't confirm if everything looks good , he just wanted the form , closed enough I guess .

Wasted 2 tows because AAA was supposedly able to diagnose my car for free with my membership, after replacing the parts they told me are bad my problem still was there, called back and talked to Brian and was told they can not diagnose my cars because technicians are not qualified, they are not able to diagnose electrical issues,or no starts for a car..i wouldn t recommend bringing your car to a place that is not able to test fuel pumps or anything other then an oil change..go to pepboys next door and save yourself the head ache they are able to diagnose vehicles and don t turn you away because you are using. Your membership..Brian told me they would not waste time diagnosing a car for free even though it was from my membership..it s a shame

As an older man, I don't know much about cars. When I brought my car in for service the man I spoke with was very patient with me and explained everything that needed repairs on my car. Another shop had said I need other repairs, but Klaus explained what I really needed, saving me a lot of money. As I am on a fixed income, that was very important. Honesty and integrity are why I will only use AAA from now on.Service: General repairs & maintenance

I've been driving now for more than 3 decades and have put many 10s of thousands of miles behind me. In that time I've never been away from home and had to "call for a tow". But when I did, I was only a few miles away from the service center. I called them first to give a heads up, then talked to AAA. The whole process was fairly painless. They didn't have me up and running the same day, but the next business day I was back in business, with repairs correcting someone else's mess-ups. Very thankful to the staff.

I needed to have my car towed here since it stalled while I was driving it. I was reluctant since the last time I took my car here I had a negative experience, but I thought I could trust the AAA name. I never received a call confirming receipt of the vehicle from the tow truck like I have in the past. I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt but after 3 days I called and wanted to check in. After speaking with them on the phone I arranged to bring my car to another garage. I called back AAA and let them know I would be by to pick up my car in an hour. Not 5 minutes later I got a call explaining that they knew what was wrong with it. The gentleman said the spark plugs were old and they wanted to replace the direct ignition coil as well, and that they could have it done by the end of the day. Excited to have my car back I agreed, and explained it was due for an oil change and asked them to do any other routine maintenance it needed. After paying $450 I had my car back, only for it to turn off again while I was driving it (4 times) about 5 days later. I brought my car to a local WC mechanic, after having too many issued with AAA. The mechanic explained to me a few hours later that when he pulled the dipstick, there was absolutely no oil on it. I asked him if maybe there was a leak, and how AAA could have missed that. He said the only way is if they didn't check the oil. I understand mistakes and misdiagnoses can happen but this was pure negligence. If the car is stalling one of the first things that should be checked is the oil pressure, and secondly I asked them to change the oil on the phone. If my engine stalled on 95 going 60 MPH, I easily could have been hurt or hurt someone else without power breaking or steering. At the very least running the engine without any oil could have caused it to seize and ruin my car. It has been two weeks now and the car has not stalled once since the oil change. This was not a complex problem, I feel like I was scammed out of $450 and that my safety was put at risk by what should have been an easy fix.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Just visited them today for finger printing after a terrible experience at another IdentGo location yesterday. Could not have been happier with our experience. The lovely staff got us in and out very fast, the location was easy to find, good parking, and clean and organized location, and the staff could not have been more professional and kind. Will drive the 40 mins to get there anytime.

I almost never write reviews. We went to this location to do a title transfer, and received exception service from James G. It was an out of state title, which made things more complicated, and due to our own error, we had to call our insurance company (twice) to get the insurance right (and James waited patiently while we did this). He walked us through every step of the process, and was incredibly thorough in with the requirements for the out of state title.

I would like to leave a review for Diane Smoczynski at Weat Chester AAA. Thank you for your diligence and patience with finding me a great car insurance quote! You were a total breath of fresh air to work with. Thank you again!

I brought a vehicle in to have two tires with slow air leaks patched/plugged. I had identified what appeared to be nails in both tires and told the AAA service shop where the leaks were. I asked how much it cost to perform this repair and was informed it was $29.99 per tire. This is twice as much as what I was quoted at other places, but it was local and I thought it would be a quality repair that would be backed up. The final invoice included a "Shop fee" of $4.80. I asked the clerk what the "Shop fee" covered. He stated that he didn't know and that everyone was charged this "Shop fee". It feels dishonest to me that AAA advertised and quoted a price for the repair, knows that they have this arbitrary "shop fee" and did not tell me about it ahead of time. While driving away from the facility, I noticed that the Tire warning light was on. It was NOT on when I brought the car in for the slow air leak. Thank you AAA for creating a problem that was not there when I brought the car in. Lastly, AAA decided it was within their right to replace the oil change sticker that was applied by my preferred shop for oil change service with their own sticker. I didn't ask them to do that and I did not want them to do that. A tip for you AAA, don't touch what you are not asked to touch. It's hard to give them 1 star. I'm not confident they did the work that I paid them to do correctly. Needless to say, I will never bring a car back to this service center, and I won't recommend them to anyone that I know. NOT a good shop.

I would not recommend AAA for an inspection! I waited two hours for them to complete the inspection. Upon completion, they told me my car failed due to rusty and cracking break pads. They immediately offered to make me an appointment with their mechanic. I declined and said I would take it somewhere else. I had my break pads looked at and there was no rust or cracking found. I felt taken advantage of and will not be using this facility in the future.

Everyone was very pleasant. Rose, our travel agent, was very knowledgeable, friendly, kind and patient. She was able to answer all of our many questions about our destination, made great suggestions about things we would never have thought of and was very thorough in planning everything for us. We usually travel with our RV so it was nice to have Rose help us with the hotel and everything else related to our trip. Thanks Rose!

My car started making a scary noise from the front wheels after this shop returned it to me.When I called about the noise they would not pick up the phone. When I left a polite but urgent voicemail about this safety issue it was ignored. After I posted my experience online, I was contacted by the shop. The shop tried to blame me for the noise. When that failed, they blamed me for the shop not responding, saying I should have kept calling even though a different manager told me not to call because their landlines were not working, and to use his cell phone instead. Cell phone calls, voicemails, and texts were also ignored.I later learned this manager was inexplicably instructed to not respond when customers contacted the him. No resolution was offered. Of course a reasonable person would not trust this shop again after it appears they made my car unsafe to drive and tried to hide from their mistake. This car care center does not reflect the good service I've come to expect from AAA road service, AAA credit card, AAA insurance. I would be hesitant to trust any AAA car care center after this experience. I will contact the AAA corporate office to inform them of this situation and find out if they can help resolve this situation and get my car back on the road. Zero stars. Unprofessional.Service: General repairs & maintenance

This is a multi-state automotive and travel service center. I love the fact that I can get work done in one location and their warranty applies to all of them. They offer affordable repair as well as routine maintenance for the upkeep of your vehicle. They also offer many amenities and convenience items for your travels. ID services, navigation information, and travel insurance are among some of the other things they have. I really wish they had more service centers closer to the NYC metropolitan area.

I recently purchased a used car with new inspection and 4 BRAND NEW MICHELIN TIRES I had a flat I couldn t see any nails or punctures called AAA for a tow and tire repair. At 845am they tow the car to the West Chester PA location. I was told they would call to tell me if it could be repaired. I had to call multiple times during the day only to get the run around and it wasn t until almost 5pm when they called to say they would need to keep my car over the weekend in order to get a new tire at $114 and replace it. All day it took just to determine it was not repairable,? I told them forget it I was coming to get my car We picked up the car and took it to TiresPlus right down the street They opened the truck to find only the rim. No Michelin tire I called back and asked where was the flat tire I was told it was in the storage space that held the spare. It was not. Called back again I was put on hold for over fifteen minutes and was able to drive back to AAA and as I walked in the service mgr was standing there doing nothing I guess he thought I would just go away. Wrong! They never picked up the phone So they insist they put the tire in the car they tried blaming TiresPlus for taking it they stuck to the lie they put it in the car. I can only imagine what they would have done to my car had I left it over the weekend This service mgr is a complete joke as he stood behind the shop chain smoking So basically they took my tire fixed kept it put it on someone else s car who knows but a big round black tire vanished into thin air. DO NOT let these people touch your car ! Have it towed to reputable mechanic shop. I will be elevating my complaint as they are not suppose to keep any parts they replace they are suppose to ask you or show you the broken or damaged parts before disposal.Tires Plus had the tire fixed in under 90 minutesTo follow up ... the Manager of AAA West Chester contacted me and submitted a request to reimburse me for the costs incurred at TiresPlus. I consider this an acceptable solution and thank him for handling this personally and quickly.Service: Tires

I am a AAA member. I brought my car in last week to use an oil change and tire rotation coupon. I gave explicit written directions on which tires to change/rotate and 2 to replace with tires I provided. I also talked with the service tech in person about it, confirming the instructions. When I got the car it had 2 tires installed inside out! I took it back to get it corrected and they still left one on incorrectly and replaced another one with the tire that had a bubble in the sidewall and needed to be replaced with the good tire I provided! So I've taken it to the Pep Boys next door today and will NEVER be back to AAA for car care again!Services: Tires, Oil change

A man named Klaus at triple A was so rude the premiere membership was misleading and and false it only covers 100 miles of tow but that's a one time thing so if you get a tow for 20mi under premiere membership that's it's you can not use the rest of the miles you have left on any other tows they will charge you I had a flat tire which is covered under my membership and offer a discount 10% off of labor when the membership states that the you get discount tires too but that is also false information the tires are actually almost 140.00 per tire not to mention you still would have to pay for the labor while the membership is not a lot of money per year it is filled with a lot of fraudulent information and false advertising which is probably illegal in most states but hey who am I to judge but just a friendly reminder make sure you read your triple A membership because your paying for services that you don't actually get and are overcharged

I've been a AAA member for many years, and can honestly say that the membership is very worthwhile. They've assisted me on the road and in my driveway. They've assisted my wife and I planning vacation trips.I would call them for service, before I consider the service which came from the leasing dealership, based on experience.

My experience is similar to the others. Great customer service. I to needed a tire repaired (screw in tire) right before closing on a Saturday evening. The other service techs were busy so Colin (service manager) repaired it himself and got me back on the road. This was a totally new experience. I've only dealt with Bernard & Colin and they both are great. It's good to finally go to a service center that you can trust.

It pains me to submit a one-star review, as I've generally had good experience here in the past. On Monday, I picked up my car and drove off. It didn't become apparent that at least one tire was loose until I was on 202. I tried calling and nobody picked up. Fortunately, I made it to Pep Boys in Exton, and they were good enough to tighten the lug nuts. When the mechanic handed me back my keys, he told me all four tires had been loose. When I did finally get ahold of the shop, they didn't seem particularly concerned that this had happened. When I called the main membership number, they apologized and said someone would be in touch. So, I said to myself that I'd give them a day before posting anything about it. And I verified what number they'd be calling from. It's now almost two full days, so I will post.

This place is a god-send! After my local mechanic stopped having Saturday hours, I was at a loss. Then, I ended up getting a flat tire a few hours east. AAA got me back on the road with my spare and I drove right to the new West Chester location (on a Sunday, right before closing!) Fantastic service..they took me in, patched me up and got me on my way- even reminding me about my inspection!Later, I brought it in for inspection, and got the same excellent customer service! Fast, professional, caring and totally willing to go the extra mile! I got hooked up with a Premium membership and saved some $$ on my repairs!I would recommend this place to anyone with an automobile! Thanks to each of you that I had the pleasure to speak to! I will probably reach out for car insurance from you as well!

I have been bringing my cars to AAA in West Chester for a while. I have had good experiences but lately I think I have been getting ripped off. I bought a new tire because they said I had an egg in it but it was small if at all, i never noticed when I was looking at the tire. They tried to sell me battery, wheel alignments, and stuff that I don't think I need. Also, they were very expensive for tire pressure sensors - $350 for two. Odd that two sensors go bad at once too. I have lost my trust in the them and wont be returning.

I think we all can agree that anything having to do with vehicle insurance and registration requires a lot of paperwork and hassle. I'm happy to say that the AAA insurance agent Matthias Hickey has been a huge help in the entire process! He baby stepped me through everything, and he is *still* the person I call if I have any questions having to do with AAA. Even if something isn't in his field (insurance), he's always happy to help getting me to the right person I need to chat with.Service: Auto insurance

Never ever go here. Went in for an oil change. The tech stood there with the car in the shop for atleadt 20 min just talking. Never tried to sell me wipers which streak severely. Bever topped off fluid like suppose to. I checked my oil level after the service and it is atleast a quart low. I recommend to never go here. Over an hour and half for an oil change and tire rotation. I had a 9 o clock appointment.

When my car got towed to AAA it wasn t in good condition and it needed a lot of repairs. Bernard and Colin went above and beyond to make this unpleasant experience a positive experience. I am very thankful for their hard work and amazing customer service. I would recommend their services to others because they truly care about their customer s satisfaction.

I had my car towed here after experiencing issues with smoke coming from the hood. I asked them to simply perform an inspection, which they told me would be around 60. I chose not to have the repairs done that would enable my car to pass inspection, and the price then jumped from 60 to 100. When I asked why, I was told that an additional charge is placed on if you do not move forward with repairs. So truthfully, you are taking money from me for no reason. To be charged 100 dollars for you to simply look at my car is ridiculous and unfair. As a AAA member I would expect better pricing. I will never take my care here, there are many more affordable options if you want your car inspected.

I love AAA and am a member but the manager on duty at this location wasted 35 minutes of my time in deciding whether or not they'd be able to help me. He ended up deciding that they would not be able to help me with my obscure car issue (understandable), but I don't appreciate the way he went about it or how long it took for him to process the situation. I went next door to Pep Boys where the crew was both much more approachable and helpful. They didn't even charge and laughed at a situation that had the other manager throwing a fit! Again, nothing bad against AAA, just my experience with this location.
