I had to take my Wrangler in for a recall and was expecting it to be some time before I could get an appointment because that s just how recalls go sometimes. But to my surprise I was able to get an appointment right away! I did have to reschedule due to bad weather the day of, but it was no issue and I was still able to take my Jeep in that week. Shively was so easy to work with, and the best part was that someone had left a duck on my Jeep! I m thinking it was someone in service, but regardless it made my day and I was very pleased with how quick and easy everything was.

Service was provided as requested and staff was attentive when I called upon them. However, having made an appointment for 7:30am for a state inspection and an oil change it makes no sense that at 10:45am my car is still on the lift getting the oil change finished. I feel that my vehicle should be serviced as close to the time of my appointment as possible. It should not take over three hours for an oil change and a state inspection that passed. Would I had to have waited as long had I been in the shop instead of dropping my car off? This has happened on more then one occasion.

If you take your vehicle to the dealership to have repairs done and let's just say hypothetically they say they will do the job for $200. The car is running when you take it in and can run the way it is they get the car apart what run into problems and the part for trying to get out they break something that does happen. But now they tell you the price of the repair will be $1,000 hypothetically again and you say just put the car back together because it will run until you can afford to have it repaired. Then they tell you they're going to charge you to put it back together which was in the original " anyway and they hold your vehicle hostage, now they say you have to pay extra to have the car put back together, and they're going to start charging you storage fees for taking up a bay. Sorry but I believe it would be stupid to receive a car that they took apart. It would make you responsible for anything that could have happened while it was in their care. I've never heard of taking your car to the shop they take it apart and then tell you to come and get it the way it is. Very unprofessional.

So was there Saturday and made a deal on a Ford edge told them I wanted a rain guards bug shield and molded mud flaps on the deal. They were OK with this did a IOU everybody signed it. Everything was great. Monday asked Misty if they ordered my accessories and she said no because the mudflaps were substantially more money than what we had expected and the manager I want to talk to about them is off. I was a little frustrated by this because obviously I want my vehicle and it shouldn t matter the price you just take care of the customer as part of the deal that you committed to. but, I thought well give it some time. Tuesday I talk to her and she said she was having another manager work on it that Bryan called off sick and that they were looking on car gurus for mudflaps they found front ones on there but not the back I said well WeatherTech makes them she said yeah but they re $90 a set. I said well I don t want any junk universal ones you guys need to get me the right ones. So I made the initiative to call the Ford dealer. They could sell me all of them tax and everything out of the door for $104, I sent Misty the part numbers and price and everything for them and the info for the weatherTech and I said here s two companies that makes these mudflaps. She messaged me back and wanted to know if they could skip the mudflaps because it s over their budget no I m blind and disabled. I am not able to put these mudflaps on the vehicle. And I mean obviously if I thought the mudflaps were extremely cheap I wouldn t have asked for them as part of the deal. It should not even have been a question they should not have made the deal in the first place, if the stuff was more money than they were willing to spend. Like what happened to taking care of the customer the customers always first they re always right and you do what you have to do for the customer. No their solution was let s just back out of the entire deal, and then they kept saying well they had to talk to Bryan. He must be one hell of a busy man if he s the only person in the place that can make decisions. So quick update Bryan called me said that it s in the IOU that they ll pay a maximum of $250 for the accessories nobody ever mentioned that number never even talked about numbers at all. They just said they would order everything my girlfriend never heard that number either. I think they were trying to pull a fast one on the blind guy. Honestly this place is shady go somewhere else.

Mike Kauffman and Leighton Cook were excellent. I made the 2 hour trip from Odenton, MD and wouldn t have an issue doing it again. Both were extremely helpful, friendly and professional. I actually spent less time at the dealership than one way of my drive there and left in my brand new truck. Mike and Leighton were able to walk me through the online credit approval process and ensured they had received all the necessary documents for me to be in and out of the store in no time. There was no back and forth between sales people and/or sales manager. This has been the easiest vehicle pick up I have experienced. I would highly recommend Shively Motors for anyone looking for a new or used vehicle.

Everyone that I worked with at the dealership made the buying experience a pleasure. From placing the order for my Charger, to ensuring it was prepped and all the details addressed, to explaining all of the features of the vehicle. It was the best buying experience I have had at any dealership. Other dealers could take lessons on how to treat customers from this group. I even was able to go thru the Jeep Adventure course which was a lot of fun.I highly recommend Shively Motors to anyone tired of the regular poor dealer experience.

As far as the dealership goes, They are great. Did everything they could for me. But unfortunately after many many trips to the dealership and leaving my vehicle there and took a loaner back my 2021 Jeep grand Cherokee L overland still has the same issues. It s so frustrating spending that kind of money on a new vehicle and it has a short. And Chrysler basically won t do anything more other than tell me to get it to the dealers. It s a lemon but since it was only 8 months old and had over 12,000 miles, it doesn t qualify for the lemon law. Shively did everything they could. But it s a lemon and the state of pa will not grant me the lemon law. I m worn out from all of this. What s going on with Chrysler products ? Why would they make a vehicle that has these issues and can t correct them ? I think the vehicle handles nice and drives nice. But the electrical issues is enough to turn you away from them.

When I first went in I spoke with Dave at the service counter and informed of my issue with my Ram 1500, I waited in the lounge, Dave came back out in about an hour and informed me that I needed a new gas tank, he then called the warranty company and got everything approved, he then ordered the gas tank and told me it would be in around a week, when it came in he called and we set up an order for the following week, he said it would take round 5 hrs to repair and he was correct. Dave was very professional and respectful, he was a pleasure to deal with, listened to my problem with my truck and said his mechanics will figure it out and they did. Thank you Dave and your dealership for your help.

$26,000 on a car plus all of the warranties. On 3 separate occasions was told it was covered under warranty just to be denied at the last minute. I have spend HOURS sitting in that building and on the phone with no answers. Getting hung up on whenever I've been waiting almost TWO MONTHS for a part that controls the climate, GPS, radio, backup cam, etc. Over the course of 2 months I called multiple times to check in and see if the part had arrived. Called in to let them know about the problem worsening. Left on hold for 20 minutes and hung up on. Now they want to charge me $1000 and accuse me of doing something to my vehicle that I called to warn them that it had happened. Disgusting place. Do NOT buy a car here and do NOT buy any of the warranties. Bunch of scheisters running around here.Update: called the warranty company. It was covered and they never even called. They were just trying to charge me $1000 for nothing. Absolutely horrible business practice.Edit: You guys sold me a platinum warranty. I was told it would cover "Anything that would happen to my car besides an accident. That's for insurance." Then wouldn't take responsibility for the warranty you sold me when you screwed me over and accused me of punching my car, which I was very much in love with and wouldn't punch over a radio as I always just left the damn screen off after the condition worsened. As I said as I left, you should be ashamed.
