Just wanted to give a shout-out to the butcher on staff. My wife wanted short ribs, and he cut them up. Amazing service and amazing short ribs. We love BJS.

So, last evening I called the tire center to make sure they had a set of tires that I wanted and found out they were closing before I could get there. I told the guy that I would be there in the morning. So, I arrive as planned after a 45 minute drive to get there, and the place is locked up tighter than a drum. So, I called the number for the store and nobody answers in the tire shop so an operator type person picks up and proceeds to tell me that the tire center will not be open today. Well thanks a lot! Why didn't the guy tell me that last night when I told him I would be there in the morning? Thanks for letting me drive an hour and a half for nothing today!

a decent experience shopping, easy as we come here a lot. the experience completely turned around upon interaction with the cashier. she was young, but inexcusably rude and unprofessional. she basically refused to talk to us or help us, and didn t make eye contact even once. she seemed to be looking at her watch or phone. we used to have great experiences with customer service but not recently. it always seems like there s absolutely no customer service training involved in the hiring process.

I've been a member since they first opened in Chambersburg. Good selection, good prices, the staff are always friendly, and even when they are busy the lines aren't usually bad. BJ's over Sam's or Costco any day!

Never put in an order for pick up. You put in a time and it is not finished, or they did not even start it!

Place typically very clean. Staff willing to drop what they're doing to help customers. Everyone always seems to have a good idea where to find things. Competitive prices compared to other wholesale stores. Shelves and food coolers never empty. Customer service staff always looking to make things right if there's a problem, no matter how minor it might be. Other than occasionally pushy outside service vendors, this location is always very good.

My family and I went to BJ'S today. When we got to the exit to have our receipt checked and the lady informed us that we missed the deal for 50 cents off per gallon of gas by 22 cents. She said we could purchase another item and have customer service fix it so we could get the deal. When we got to customer service the associate stated it couldn't be done. So we walked back to the exit and the two associates at the exit insisted that it could be done. They contacted the Team Lead. She promptly responded and informed the customer service associate that we would be coming back to resolve the situation. We had a new associate named Tim who could not have been any nicer. It was such fast and friendly customer service that unfortunately is not experienced often these days. Thanks BJ'S!

Be very CAUTIOUS of the automatic renewal for the membership. They will automatically charge your credit card without you realizing it. This is not a good idea to charge the member this without you knowing it.

I ask myself weekly why I continue to pay $55 a year for the privilege of shopping here when most of the stuff I need and use is no longer available. Very frustrating. It s actually helped me to shop elsewhere tho like across the street at Aldi and at SamsClub, so there s that! And if u have their coupons and they no longer have the item, which happens often, oh well! No rain checks! At least the gas is cheap but it is at Dams and Walmart too.

Generally good selection and reasonable prices. Sometimes they are a little slow at the register. I often shop for a non-profit and. Tax exempt so I can't use the self checkout. It would be nice if they opened another register when there are seven or eight people waiting for the only staffed checkout.

The employees at this location are not taking proper precautions to protect themselves and their customers from COVID-19. They are ignoring direct orders from state and federal government to wear masks and wear them properly! When asked politely (by a nurse) to do better, they were incredibly rude! They were also incredibly rude to this nurse regarding her groceries! We have cancelled our membership.

The cashier was rude and the older man in the deli waited on like everyone else other then me when I was before them and then after waiting almost an hour my cheese had plastic in it. I prefer the camphill location.

Always have the nicest employees. Clean store, well organized, and mostly reasonable prices. Great selection of clothes, surprisingly. Membership required. Save 40+ a gallon on gas. Well worth it.

Last night was our first trip to Bj's and may be our last. I was given a great membership deal through my employer. We ended up buying 3 items and then proceeded to walk to the exit. My husband and son were walking ahead of me and reached the exit before I did. I had the receipt in my hand. I saw the couple before us stop with their cart and hand the greeter their receipt so when I reached the greeter I stopped but my husband had already walked past her. The greeter turned her head towards my husband and then she asked me if I was with him and I said yes. She said she's not used to people walking past her. She took my receipt and I called to my husband to come back. She tells him she has to count our items and my husband responded "really?" and she responded back "yes really" with an attitude. Remind you, the other couple was still standing there. It embarrassed and angered my husband the way she responded to us. Made him feel she was accusing him of stealing. After she counted our 3 items we started to leave and I could hear the greeter and the other couple talking about us. Hearing this I walked a few steps back and told the greeter and the couple "this was our first time here, so thank you!" and walked out. I did get a "wave" from the other customer and I couldn't make out how the greeter responded but it sounded like they then understood why he walked out without stopping. Was not the greatest 1st impression or experience. I think the greeter was disrespectful and lacked good customer service. When my husband questioned her she should've politely explained the company policy and not responded in the way she did. Nor should she have continued talking about us to the other couple as we were leaving. I wanted to call the manager and make a recommendation she have more customer service training but reading other reviews apparantly others have had bad experience with not receiving return calls so I wrote a review instead.

We tried it a while ago only once. They harrass and embarrassed you if you come in with the coupon for the trial membership. They said it was fine and then shouted out that we were none members we came through the line and gave us a really hard time about using our trial membership. Then they check your all of groceries you leave (the whole cart) as if you are trying to steal from them. Horrible experience. Many of the prices and sales were no better or more expensive than other stores. I would not go back.

I can't go into BJ's Wholesale when I've just been paid and took care of all my bills... There are just too many toys for me!! When you first walk in, the TVs are lined up right in front... Then ask the other cool electronics are waiting... Waiting... Waiting for the right moment to pounce into my shopping cart!! I get all my paper goods here... I don't have to buy any for 6 months afterward... I often buy my meats here, marinate them, freeze them, and thaw them out as I need them... Again... Don't have to buy meat for 3-4 months! The only thing is one has to be a better shopper at a wholesaler than at a regular supermarket. It's so easy to buy way more than I need... I was good today... Kept it under $200... Lol!

0 stars for membership customer service. I enjoy shopping at my local BJs wholesale club and get great service there but customer service for membership through the corporate office is terrible. I renewed two memberships at the beginning of December through a Fuel Your Fundraiser program that helps benefit our school. Neither renewal has taken effect now for two months and unfortunately the only avenue available to pursue resolution is through a phone call to a membership customer service rep. All three of the calls I made required a lengthy hold wait time; today was 47 minutes. On each call I gave the same information and received the same answer...that I would have resolution in 24 to 48 hours. One representative took both my home and cell phone numbers. I never got a call. Today they verified my email and said I would have an emailed response in 24 to 48 hours. I'm not optimistic.

I would normally give BJ's five stars, but not today. The BJ person who dealt with me was not wearing a face mask. I was there this morning during the senior hour and everyone, all the staff and all the customers that I saw were wearing face masks except the one employee who dealt with customers at the self checkout. I needed to see someone at customer service, and the man working there behind a plastic shield, with a face mask on was helping a customer in a very professional way. The employee by the self check out came up close to me, still without a face mask, and asked how she could help. She helped me, talking directly at me without a face mask. That made me really worried.

Their tire service can't fix tire leaks. Instead they make their hole and plugged that. So I go back to fix the leak that was still there and didn't have time to fix it. So go somewhere else and they told me that they couldn't fix it . So I had to buy a new tire.

Very pleasant woman as the greeter at the door. Goes over and above as a greeter. Only wish that the company wouldn't make the personnel move the specials from their original spots in the store. Had a hard time finding the Act II popcorn. I actually injoy shopping there.

At the Bj s in Chambersburg Pa deli counter on 3/19/2021. Waited at the counter while the clerk back of the counter busied herself while I waited. Never acknowledged my presence. After waiting for 5 or 6 minutes without a response I walked away. I was no more than 25 feet away she waited on the customer that was behind me. Terrible service!

Love bj's as a whole. The managers do not return your phone calls for whatever you are requesting. And this is the 3rd year in a row that they keep on screwing customers out of pecan pies.they always tell us they are a seasonal item "really?" And I would like to know what season they call seasonal.

I've been buying in this bj s for three years and today I had a bad experience with an employee named (Briana) scanned my items and threw them aggressively and I didn t even get to bagged it right and kept looking at me a different way and when it was time to pay I had no privacy paying I felt harassed, this person is not trained to work with customer service.
