I had car troubles while passing through the area. I found John to be a great help in assisting me getting back on the road.They didn t have the exact part I needed, but if I had more time, they could have gotten me the correct one. Unfortunately, I was pressed for time and it was very important to me to get right back on the road, so John helped me by providing me with a viable solution. Other staff members were friendly and attentive as well.The prices are reasonable here. The store appeared to be clean and well organized.Thank you!

I absolutely love going in here. Derek and Jaclyn well so helpful with me and patient and they saved me $22 for knowing and explaining things to me.. I will always love this store because of how they treat me..

I bought an oil catch can here and when I tried to use the oil catch can about 20 minutes later, the catch can was immediately overwhelmed with the amount of oil coming out of the engine that about 6.5 quarts ended up on my driveway and about .5 quarts got into the oil catch can. The oil entered the catch can at a trickle, even with the breather valve open, and I even had the drain cap broken open to release air pressure. I came back to AutoZone with this oil covered catch can, and the AutoZone employee is telling me that I must have had the oil catch can facing the wrong direction... That the oil must have been pouring onto the catch can in the wrong direction. They would not take it back, and the more he spoke the worse it got. Ugh... Don't buy the 10qt enclosed oil catch can for $13. It's trash. I'm not sure what I expected from the employee. Insight I guess.

Highly disappointed. I needed a car battery unexpectedly (I had been traveling all day) and the employees advised that they wouldn t be able to help me because there were only 2 people working in the store. Luckily, there were ONLY 2 people working at the Auto Zone in Shippensburg and they were amazing! The car battery was installed in 15 minutes and they were very helpful.

As a mobile repair business I deal with just about every AutoZone from here to Frederick. The Chambersburg location is by far my favorite store to deal with. The commercial staff are knowledgeable, organized and keep me updated on parts coming in. New management has been keeping the store running great. This is the parts store you definitely want to spend your money at

It was a very bad experience yesterday. I went to buy wiper blades. There was nobody asking me if I needed help. I purchased the wrong wiper blades. She helps me get the right ones at least I thought she did. I went bought a second pair after refunding the first ones. She said these wouldn t work either. She seen I was upset so she didn t make me refund or pay for the third ones. She just charged me the price of the second ones. It was my worst experience at Auto Zone. I will not be returning to the Chambersburg, PA Autozone store.

The employee was super rude to one of the customers multiple times , because he didn t speak proper English, you can see the embarrassment in the guys face. While he was trying to communicate by showing a picture of what they need , the cashier continues to shout at him that they need to know what it is not a picture of it. And I think there s different ways to handle this type of situations , instead of making the customer feel dumb. Offer them some help with google translate. We all have bad days , however that s not a reason to treat people.

While driving on 81, we noticed our headlights were dim. We decided we were better safe than sorry, so we stopped at AutoZone to see if they had replacement bulbs. They didn t have our exact bulbs but John, one of the employees, took the time to find something that might work. He helped us 20 minutes before they closed with no complaints, rude remarks, or hesitation. Because of him, we are back on the road and can see perfectly! Thanks John!

This place is sneakily larger than it appears. The staff have always been super helpful.Stop charging a million dollars for a quart of oil just because everyone else is doing it!

The guys in there were really nice. I went in because my check engine light had suddenly come on. A guy came out right away and helped me out. Got everything taken care of.

If you've never been to an Autozone - they do basic things like replace batteries and wipers and more complex things like attach a computer to assess your vehicle. This one in G'burg is great.

*Avoid if possible*AutoZone itself isn't a terrible company (that I'm aware of), but the employees I've encountered so far at the Chambersburg store have been very rude and speak in a condescending manner on a consistent basis. I've heard other customers asking for help or advice there, too, and it has been met with an insufferable pompous attitude from the employees. When I've personally asked for information or a specific part, I come away feeling like I was just in an argument and I had to work for the item(s) I just paid for. This isn't just sometimes, either, but EVERYTIME I have walked into that store, thinking I was giving the place yet another chance to give me at least a moderately pleasant experience, I have been disappointed. I mean, I'm just trying to fix a car and I really don't expect that much. This place really grinds my gears ( )

Entered store no one there but employees. Employees were more concerned about there conversation about if the girl was gonna get fired for job abatement. And autozones policies. But once another customer came in he was greeted how can we help you. Another guy came in and was greeted as well . I spoke up said it would be nice if someone would have asked me the same thing . To I got was we didn't see you come in . Well no wonder you were to worried about if she was gonna get fired . Still not sure why I was over looked when they looked right at me . I didn't go in there to hear about her termination. So I took my business elsewhere.

Went to get parts for my Kia Optima and my daughter's Ford Focus. Was helped by Josh and Oscar they were very professional, friendly and helpful. I got everything I needed fast and learned a thing or two I didn't know. So overall great experience!! Thank u very much Josh and Oscar.

Wonderful service today. Had battery issues and had great help and advice from the staff. They charged my battery for free and then it turned out that I had a bad battery. They exchanged it since it was within it's warranty. Everyone was extremely kind and helpful. Thank you!

So after being blown off and treated rudely by the neckbeard gremlins that work at Advance Auto Parts when I needed help with a part (that I got AT THAT STORE) I went over to AutoZone, told the lady working there about my plight and she fixed my issue in about 5 seconds. And thanks to her I was able to get where I needed to be on time with a functioning wiper. A little kindness counts for a lot.

This place has a very good manager named David he's extremely knowledgeable and a good person to talk with as far as the other staff quote there's some of this gentleman there are arrogant and I prefer not to talk to them but David is okay and he's pretty cool

Very slow. Had 4 people in front of me with 2 on registers and that took 20 minutes. The customer in front of me ordered a part that should have been on hold but wasn't. Both employees on the registers went looking for it instead of the just the one.Update: Looked in their book for an oil filter. Under my car it had PH3614 for all 3 types for fram. So I buy that one. What do you know it the wrong size.

As I came in I went straight for the fluids and cleaners and stuff As I heard someone say good morning how can I help you I looked around and I'm see didn't see anybody and I heard Hi again as I seen this time a young lady (Ericka Y.) walking out from the Racks who was a manager. I Left her know I was here for an oil change She was very helpfulvery. After that I priced some parts as she very patient with me being oblivious to the actual names to each other items Aus pricing she's very informal and very tedious on the details I give the store 5 because of her work ethic knowledge and patience with a customer that can be egg headed with names and thank you mam and have a nice day
