Associate was very nice. However, when I called to order in a part, I was told that I had to come into the store to pay for it by a certain time so that the part could be put on the truck. I live 45 min away and asked if I could give my credit card information over the phone so that I didn t miss the deadline. I was told it is company policy that they can t do that and that I had to come into the store to pay in person before they could order the part. That is about the dumbest policy I have ever heard of. By the time I got to the store, the truck had left early so I was not able to get the part. I am now traveling to Harrisburg to get the same part for half the price from a competing store.

No problems recycling old batteries; I usually come here for things like wiper blades and recycling.

Justin went above and beyond to help me get the right battery for my old 4runner. He even measured the physical battery to make sure there would not be any hang ups. Got the battery home and installed within 10 minutes. Started right up! Just what I needed. He also pointed out the benefits of the die hard agm battery. Smooth transaction! I'll be back!

Walked and of course there's nothing on the shelves. Because in this day and age no one wants to work. So the nice guy behind the counter asked if I needed help and I told him what I needed he went right to the back and got what I needed. Will definitely be back!!!!

Went in to get wiper blades and saw Gio coming from the back. He was off and I said to not worry about it. He refused and has to help me, he was extremely kind in doing so. Evan the manager has a good crew. Thanks for the excellent service!!!!

Terrible terrible this place is a joke if this can help anybody please do not order any parts here they'll tell you they could be here in 2 hours then when they're not there in 2 hours I'll tell you I will they'll be here tomorrow morning then they're not even going to be there the next day please do not listen to these people

I'll give it a Meh. They range from extremely helpful to not helpful at all. The lady was to busy stocking shelves to help me or find someone else who could. Today you all lost a sale, I decided to go somewhere else. The time before was the manager and he was very helpful and went to great lengths to help solve my query.

Clerk here with crutches belongs on a used car lot. I was in a hurry and trying to buy a battery. 3 absurd statements in a single purchase. "State core charge of $22 is same as anywhere else"No returns on batteries if it doesn't fit (boat) and something else I was too annoyed to remember. I just walked out and drove another 10 mins the wrong way while I was already late to avoid the overpriced by 50% 5month old date code battery I had on the counter waiting to ring up.

THIS REVIEW WAS DONE INCORRECTLY!!!THIS REVIEW WAS BASED ON THE SHIPPENSBURG, PENNSYLVANIA LOCATION ONLY.Advance auto parts is the only place I go to get my parts. The staff is friendly, with the exception of Jen, who acts as though it is beneath her to wait on women. She needs a lesson in dealing with CUSTOMERS. She's rude, short, loud, & well, you'll see for yourself. Everyone is very knowledgeable of everything in the store, but if you do manage to stump them, they will immediately jump to find you the correct answers to your problems. Ben, the manager, is always smiling & eager to help. Adriana & TJ are very helpful & a lot of fun, while knowing just what you need. As they are not a garage, they can't tell you what is wrong with your car, but they sure know what you need to fix it. Stop in. I don't think you'll be disappointed. They run specials & if you are a reward member, you can save quite a bit. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND ADVANCE AUTO.As for the Lincoln Way East location in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania, I was not even slightly impressed. There were a bunch of Mexican men working there which was not the problem. They didn't understand me when I told them what I needed & they didn't even seem concerned to try to help. I left frustrated because the Shippensburg store had ordered my parts & I just went to pick them up. Next time, I will have them delivered to the Shippensburg store & pick them up there.

Had to stop here on the way to work, and needed a windshield wiper. The guy who cashed us out was immediate to assist when we asked for help putting it on the car. No questions asked that's 5 stars to me.

I've been there two times and both times I've had the same experience.Both times, I've needed tools. Each time, they did not know what I was talking about and did not take a second to try to figure it out. They are extremely unorganized and not willing to help you if you're not getting basic items (battery, oil, etc).Don't expect them to help you if you need something specific.There are a couple auto part stores close to this location that have given me superior service and found the tools I needed.

Kevin & Even need a raise asap, really chill dudes and they stayed overtime to help me out on a problem I had with my car, I ve never had such a good customer service anywhere. I still owe them Taco Bell

Have some decent knowledgeable people that work there. But also have some people that are very unknowing of the automotive industry and are very disrespectful. I was just in there tonight and the service I received from JESSICA was anything but professional. Next time I will not go back there unless WES is working, he is very helpful and knowledgeable with things when you go there

Bought new rotors and pads right off the bat without seeing my receipt. They said NOTHING was when my mechanic clearly said they were defective and they could check them with a machine which they didn't have apparently. The rotors did not allow me to break properly SINCE THE FIRST DAY I SWAPPED THEM. Worse customer service. You guys in CHAMBERSBURG, you probably know me check my name, take the advice don't waste your time here.

Their prices are always fair. Friendly and helpful staff...but the guys I've dealt with on a few occasions have ordered the wrong parts even after demo'ing exactly what I needed (that is a waste of time and sometimes a waste of $$$. If it weren't for this, they'd have 5 stars.

If I could put negative stars I would. Just went in to get a fuel filter for my vehicle was told I could not be in the store without a mask that i had to leave even after saying and having medical documentation that says i physically can not wear a mask and they said we dont care. I will tell everyone I know not to shop there and I have multiple encounters before hand were they gave me the wrong parts and would not return them for what I needed

What a rude man behind the counter. I just said hello and he answered me in the most rude way you can imagine. I just needed help to buy some products and he practically kill me with his bad face. Maybe it will be that he saw me face of fortune-teller to know who the employees are if the only one behind the counter was him

My husband needed a strut for the front hood and the employee at Advance Auto gave him the wrong strut. So my husband took it back after he found out that it was too big. And they said that he could not return it because he put it on. That is really bad cuz how many other people had that happen to them. It was the employee's fault that gave the wrong part not the customers. We will no longer be shopping at Advance Auto.

My visit here was amazing!! I went to Advance Auto Parts at 5:30am because I was being pulled over by a police car. I received a $200 ticket for some bs. I'd definitely recommend Advance Auto Parts parking lot when you are getting pulled over!!

This is my first stop for auto needs. I am no car expert, but I try to do as much upkeep and maintenance on my car myself as I can. It is great to have a staff that can help me while being friendly and professional. Thank you, Mike, for your recent assistance . Definitely my go- to auto parts store.

Battery went dead late night. Drove in and bought a new one. Quality of parts good and fair price. Installed it for free. A great extra for me!
