Went in to get an alignment , they told me it would cost over 5000$ to do it because there were some rusty parts. Charged me 66.25 to put an adapter on. Paid for that and wasn t happy and get home to find out they did not even put the adapter on. The owners tried to convince me that it should have said labor cost to do nothing to my truck . Lady in the front tried telling me it was because it took her 30 mins to make an estimate and charge me 30 mins worth of labor to give me an estimate , and guess what was done to me truck .. Nothing no parts no labor just an estimate which 99.9 percent of companies do estimates for free !!!!!!! Now I have to call my bank and report fraud because I was charged for something that was not done to my car

Abe's is the BEST! From the moment I called and spoke with the warmest, kindest, most helpful person (Christy) to the moment my car was expertly picked up (by Tom), Abe's Auto Service delivered in more ways than one! Thanks for turning an awful experience into a good one!

I would like to thank Abes Auto Service for their incredible service and help during our father's recent car accident. We were unable to retrieve our fathers' possessions from his vehicle due to not being an owner. We understood this but the ladies at the main office went out of their way to help us. We kept in touch with them until they received the necessary documents and when they received these documents, we were immediately able to access our fathers' possessions. The gentleman at the Shippensburg office was an incredible help, from explaining everything to us and to helping us clean out our father's vehicle. I cannot express how appreciative my sister and I are for all of the help and understanding from this entire team. Thank you.

My mom got locked out of her car yesterday evening, Colby was able to get there and get her car unlocked all under 30 minutes! Everything about the experience was wonderful! Definitely would recommend them!

We were on our way back to Massachusetts from Tennessee when the car wouldn't start at a rest stop. Tom the service man from Abe's was dispatched to our location. He determined immediately that we needed a new battery and got us started and gave us directions to the nearest Honda dealer where they confirmed the battery was bad and replaced it. Thank you Tom! We can't recommend Abe's enough! Our RV was stranded near Chambersburg and Chris picked me, my partner, and my toddler up within an hour of calling and drove us to Philadelphia. The other guys weren't able to come get us for at least 3 days. We were impressed with the speed and efficiency of the service, and had great conversations with him on the 2 hour ride. Had my car towed a few months ago, and was treated like complete trash. The lady in charge of the shop started yelling at me as soon as I walked in the place and gave me legal threats, even though I did absolutely nothing wrong. The man who owns the place just sat in his space in the back and let it all happen without saying a single word. I wanted to see my car one last time, to check if I had left any important items inside, but they wouldn't even allow me to do that. I'm truly disgusted. Don't ever go here. Go somewhere else folks.

The nicest and most honest people I've met in a very long time. We were broken down just off the shoulder on I-81, it was quickly approaching dark and we were on the shoulder, very dangerous situation for us. Gary, the tow driver arrived quickly and rescued us where no one else could be bothered.Thank you Gary!!! and Abe's for hiring such quality folks.Service: Car towing

I was in an accident, disabling my work vehicle. State police were involved and the man behind the counter acted like he knew the whole story. He definitely treated me like the bad guy and disrespectful. Poor leadership. Granted I gave it right back to him. I apologized, he did not. The man who opened the yard for me to get the items was friendly and helpful.

On December 23, our car broke down on the PA Turnpike, about 120 miles from our home. It was 10:30 at night and there was sub-zero wind chill due to a massive winter storm. We had decided to make the trek from western PA to our home in eastern PA only because our power was out at home and we wanted to get home to try to prevent burst pipes or other damage from the extreme wind and cold. We were able to get to an exit, but there were no businesses open so late. With the next day being Christmas Eve and the late hour of this incident, we called a couple towing companies to see what our options were. Abe's was the only one to respond with options, one of which was to tow us the rest of the way home. We couldn't believe it!We only had to wait 30 minutes for the driver, Tom, to arrive. However, even by that point, the interior windows of our car were frozen. Tom loaded our car and welcomed our family into his very nice tow truck. At this point it was after 11:00 p.m.We cannot say enough nice things about Tom! He was fantastic! His cheerful and chatty demeanor instantly improved our sour mood caused by this ordeal. We talked the entire ride home. He even stopped at a rest stop so we could use the restroom. He was very knowledgeable, professional, and we felt safe riding with him for the remaining 120 miles of our journey.We arrived home at 1:30 a.m. on Christmas Eve. Our power was still out and the interior of our home was 50 degrees, but we were grateful to be home for Christmas and incredibly grateful for Tom's willingness to make such a long journey! The estimates of time and cost provided to us prior to being towed were also spot on.While we hope no one finds themselves in a similar predicament, we would recommend Abe's and Tom to anyone!Services: Car towing, Long distance hauling

Jason towed my daughter today and he was very kind. This was the first time my daughter has ever experienced a car issue, while driving and she was upset. My Jeep shut off while I was driving around 2 in the morning and I was stuck on an on ramp. After many failed attempts to reach AAA, I called Abe s Towing. The call was straight forward and the guy estimated that I would wait about an hour at most. Within 10 minutes, someone came to help.His name was Tom and he was super friendly. I called many places but Abe towing was fast, excellent,no nonsense tow.Driver was careful to tow car properly.I would trust them and use their services over everyone else.They will show up..I had my car sitting 14 hours no one else called back or if they did would leave me sit another day..My car probably would have been vandalized..I was on the side of the road half way in a corn field.( I understand lack of tow drivers available at times)I explained this to dispatch..she said 45 minutes. He was there in 47.minutes minutes lol.125.00 tow was inexpensive compared to others...I am just really pleased and I trust very few people..I was very happy with service ..Thank you!

This was one of the most professional and hospitable companies I have ever worked with. My car broke down 2 hours from home. They came quick and drove me 130 miles home. Mike was the best company. After my husband and I were run off the road on the interstate and blew a couple of tires spinning around and landing in the median, we called insurance for a tow and were told it would be a couple of hours before they could get someone out to get us. A state trooper recommended we call this tow company and within 20 mins they were picking up our car and dropping us off at a car place. He was very nice and efficient. Wish I lived in the area to recommend them to other people.

I was very pleased at every step of the process with Abe's service. We broke down on the side of the highway on the way home from a brief vacation when our car lost power.Abe's responded quickly. A tow truck was there within 15 minutesThe tow truck driver was very pleasant and personable.The office staff that I spoke to were helpful. I would highly recommend Abes. I used the Shippensburg location and I must say the owner is amazing. She went above and beyond for me. Her mechanics are the best and even followed up with me to make sure my car was running properly. This company was willing to tow my broken truck and u-haul trailer. I got a quick response when I called them. The truck driver was professional and very courteous. Excellent service and clean equipment. If you need a tow in the Chambersburg. Pa. area give them a call.

As a result of the 9/1/21 damage from Hurricane Ida, 2 trees fell on my house and my car resulting in extensive damage. My car was undrivable so my insurance company arranged for Abe's Auto Service & Towing, Inc.to come to pick up my vehicle. The driver, Tom, came as scheduled and reassured me that all would be fine. He was very upbeat and kind. Within minutes he had efficiently loaded my vehicle onto the truck and we were off. He was empathetic and understanding about my situation, and before I knew it, we had arrived at the collision shop. When you have gone through a frightening experience, you need someone who you feel confident in...Tom was definitely that! He made everything much more enjoyable, and I really had a lot of fun during the drive in to town. I can, from the bottom of my heart recommend Tom! Whether you find yourself in a minor or major accident - Tom and Abe's Auto Service & Towing, Inc are not one of your choices, they are the only choice !!!
